Well, I just got a response from 2 yrs ago, and it made me think, I never updated it. Last month, we had The AC Team replace our downstairs AC. This deserves a followup!!! Our AC went out - about a month after our semi-annual check (which you're crazy if you don't have done). I called the AC number and Nick was here the same day, Fixed the major problem in 30 minutes and gave me full credit for their check up they'd done the previous month. Plus a discount on their service. That's why I would NEVER deal with a major chain. Give me a local service company every time. And in the Heating/AC business, I'll always choose the AC Team. read more

On January 14, 2021, Nick from The A/C Team Heating & Cooling inspected my air condition unit for airflow issues, dirty air filters occurring before (30) days and evaluate air ducts / lent from dryer not properly exiting the vent. The air condition was properly working before Nick looked at the unit. (Note: The home passed a home inspection before the house was bought). Nick reported that the A/C unit was fairly clean; no leaks were found and recommended installing 14" duct damper to balance airflow. Nick claimed that he used coil cleaner to disinfected the evap coils. Nick claimed that he would have another team come out to do the duct damper work. He mentioned that he needed to look at his schedule to determine date/time and would get back to me - never happened. The A/C Team Heating & Cooling charged $79.00 dollars for inspection. I called the A/C Team about the $79 charge. Katie or Kathy, explained that the $79 fee is for inspection and that the fee would be applied/deducted from the total cost of the repairs. On January 15, 2021 the air condition unit was not working; there was no power to the unit. I called The AC Team Heating & Cooling number and contacted the company via their online emergency website (under their tab "Emergency After Hour Service Call") requesting emergency air condition services. A/C Team Heating & Cooling did not respond to either of my emergency service requests via email or voice message that day (January 15) or the following days/week. On January 16, 2021, I had different A/C company to inspect/service the air condition. The technician reported that the air-condition circuit board was fried, and that the unit had been unplugged - how interesting. (There were no issues with unit turning on/off before Nick's inspection). Repairs were done on the same day and the unit was functioning before the technician departed. Nick @ A/C Team Heating & Cooling did not do the repair work for the duct damper and vents. I was charged $79.00 to fry the circuit board, have the coils spray with what Nick calls disinfectant and no return call for emergency service request. I located this company based on the Channel 15 review of being a good/honesty company - not for me. read more

The AC Team Heating and Cooling was hired by our rental management company when it was discovered our Hot Water Heater was going bad. My husband is a contractor in a different industry so I feel for other trades that come to our house, due to the higher standard he hold them too! They were great! We were able to get them out on a holiday weekend and they were very fair. We had our Air Conditioner leak and ductwork was completely wet. They came out right away removed the wet damaged ductwork. HIGHLY recommend! Quick, affordable, trustworthy, friendly, and efficient!! Our AC unit went out mid-July and Nick and his partner came to the rescue. We realized it went out about 4pm in the afternoon, and I was worried we wouldn't be able to get someone to come out the next day. Luckily, Nick was highly recommended from my in-laws and one quick call confirmed he could come at 8am the next morning. I was very impressed at how quickly he responded to our request and even more impressed when he showed up at the time he quoted us. That rarely happens! When he arrived, Nick was extremely friendly and was very knowledgeable. Once he took a look, he immediately knew what the problem was and began to work on it. I was curious about what the issue was, and Nick encouraged me to watch what he was doing so I could learn how to hopefully prevent the issue in the future. He flushed our drain line and explained how these issues could happen and what I could do to prevent them. They were here about an hour, and even optimized our AC to run better than before. And I have to say I was very impressed at how reasonably priced they are! I was expecting our bill to be a lot higher, especially with their availability to come so quickly. I honestly don't have one bad thing to say about the AC Team. Their service was phenomenal and they were actually a pleasure to talk to! I've always been leery about calling an AC company I don't know because I've heard so many horror stories of people being taken advantage of. Had a condenser fan motor go out on our 13 yr old air conditioner over the weekend on a Sunday afternoon in the warmest part of the day. I had remembered that Nick and The AC Team had been recommended in our community network. I sure am glad I called. Nick was able to make it out in about 2 hrs. He quickly diagnosed the problem and luckily had the part on his truck that was needed. The unit was up in about 1 hr. He cleaned it all out and it has been even cooler than before.
