During my vehicle purchase, the sales representative, Nelson Pineda Rodriguez, in direct collusion with a third-party entity called Legend Services, ran an insurance scam under my name. ​I was illegally charged an unauthorized fee of $350.00 USD under the false pretense of a "down payment" for an auto insurance quote. Here are the facts: ​Document Forgery: They generated an insurance quote and stamped a signature in my name without my authorization, knowledge, or legal consent. This is blatant identity theft and forgery. ​Stolen Funds: My actual auto insurance provider later confirmed that they never received a single penny of this $350.00 payment. The money collected at Toyota of North Miami was completely pocketed and unaccounted for, forcing me to pay my full premium separately to my real insurer. ​Unlicensed Activity: To make matters worse, I discovered that the individual operating on behalf of Legend Services at the dealership does not even hold a valid, active insurance agent license in the State of Florida. ​Operating an insurance brokerage without a license, forging customer signatures, and taking money under false pretenses are serious criminal offenses. We asked for Mauricio at the front desk, but the receptionist said there was no one there by that name. Uh oh. She called Uberto over. We told him that Mauricio sent us and showed him the letter. He said he didn't know anything about that letter nor Mauricio. We were now getting suspicious. But Uberto said he would take care of us. Long story short, we found a 2024 BMW X3 that we wanted. Our 5 yr old X3 had only 20, 573 miles on it. We drove it only 5, 000 miles a year! It was very well taken care of and never in an accident! Braman offered a lowball $15k for it. Unbelievable! We were stunned and insulted! I quickly got on Google checking for fair market values, saw an ad by Carmax, who offered to buy your car, filled out their questionnaire, and their offer was $8,000 higher. We told Uberto to hold the new X3 for us, and we were going to drive out to Carmax and sell them our car and be back with our down payment for the new car. So, that's what we did, and everything worked out the way we wanted it. Next time, we will look for a different BMW dealership. You might think about doing the same thing.

Matter of fact, after seeing Tesla's set up and retail operation, I would really tend to have a take a lot of exceptions all of Florida's rather archaic six class dealership licensing structure. It would also seem to me that the opposition by these dealerships against Tesla's operations are motivated not in the interests of the consumer but in selfish self-interests with little other purpose or intent than to stifle market competition. That aside, and though I have visited big and better set up Tesla stores, this one is pretty nice and their vehicle product, though not suited to my needs, of the highest quality of an automotive product I've ever seen. The sales staff is well informed, exceptionally polite and not in the least bit pushy or abrasively aggressive are those of the sales staff one commonly encounters at franchised automotive dealerships.

I was interested in a 2024 GT3 RS in Ice Gray with blue rims (Canadian-market vehicle). We agreed on the full price, and I had both cash available and my bank loan approved. I signed the paperwork and give them a $2,000 deposit because I was ready to purchase the car. What is especially frustrating is that after I signed the paperwork and give them my deposit, they continued offering the same vehicle for sale for four more days. After several days, the situation changed. I was told that the $2,000 deposit was actually for documentation fees. Then I was told that because they did not work directly with my bank, another dealer would have to help complete the deal, and they wanted to charge me an additional $2,200 for Doc Fee AGAIN I have now asked for my $2,000 deposit back three separate times over the past week, and I am still waiting for my money. I have documentation and proof of everything I have stated in this review, including the communications and paperwork related to the transaction. Keith and Farid, I am asking you directly to please resolve this matter and return my $2,000 deposit. I believe customers deserve transparency, clear communication, and for agreed terms to be honored. This has been a very disappointing experience, and based on what happened, I cannot recommend this dealership.
