I'd visited AutoZone for a free readout, but the loose gas cap they advised me on wasn't solving the problem. With 75,000 miles, I also decided it was time to do a transmission oil change. I arrived a little late on a rainy Friday morning, and it was no problem. Being able to pull into the headed garage for check-in immediately is definitely a plus. Also, the place is pristine (I'm guessing it's new). I had a coupon for transmission oil change for the Toyota dealership I used before my move, which they honored. They also recommended that I have my oil changed (yes, it was time), and also said it was time for my tires to be rotated and balanced (on my way home, I could definitely tell the difference). I waited in the showroom/ lounge (again, pristine). They checked in with me and told me the problem was with the alternator which is still covered under warranty, but would have to be ordered. They also let me know it was time to change my brake pads, though I opted to hold off on this one. I was there for about 2 hours and upon checking out, they threw in the oil change for free because of the long wait. The end price ended up being half of what I was expecting! All-in-all, I was very pleased with the service.

While we were on the way to the bank to pick up the funds, my husband received a TEXT stating the truck was sold. This was not a miscommunication--it was a breach of trust and a clear indication of unethical business practices. At that point in time, everything was finalized and all we had to do was go to the dealership to pick up the truck. They were aware we had financing - they sent the agreement to our bank.
