They had a great assortment from Good American and Madewell, with a good range of sizes and styles to choose from. So yay because I needed a pair of jeans because the weather was much cooler than I'd packed for. The dress section, however, felt a bit repetitive. Lots of the same styles, so not a ton of variety there. One thing that really stood out was the shoe section, especially if you're a size 10. There was a very large selection, which isn't always easy to find. Overall, a solid stop if you're looking for quality denim and shoes, but also know that it's Nordstrom Rack so options will always vary.

It's not uncommon at an outlet mall especially to be greeted by a salesperson with a head's up to the current specials and discounts. But it is uncommon to have that person almost follow you around and shout out all sorts of other specials even when you said you were okay and just browsing. For example the guy screamed at me where I could find the type of shoes that I was wearing; the only reason I had those shoes on was because it was raining and I rarely wear them. I explained I was just browsing and I would just like to do so on my own - and have that be respected. "Is it okay if I'm just browsing and would like to shop on my own without being bothered?" Realizing that some folks can have a bad day, I assumed I was good to check out the store and see what was on sale - and if merchandise matched my size and taste. There was nothing I had to buy, again just browsing like most of us do. So then I'm looking at the clearance shoes, I wear 13 4E so have very specific requirements - and there goes the same overbearing, obnoxious clerk screaming at me that I can find other shoes in different places and look at other parts of the clearance rack. At that point, I very assertively told him that I would just be leaving the store because I don't appreciate being harassed by aggressive sales personnel. Based on having a past positive experience at that store a year ago, I can only assume that the store is having sales issues and that the clerk is desperate for his commissions. With this mall having Famous Footwear outlet and also Nordstrom Rack Outlet, both of which sell discounted shoes, there are plenty of other options where you will be treated right and respected as a customer. I would recommend avoiding this New Balance location, and even if you can't find NB shoes that you like in this mall, there are plenty of other options like Joe's New Balance online. Worst retail shopping experience for me in as long as I can remember, probably over 30 years. Why bother with this awful store. PS between Famous Footwear and Nordstrom Rack, I did spend $100 - 150 on clothing and shoes.

Half the store is filled with shoes, but I didn't check it out and limited selections of clothing/accessories. A quarter of the store is for adults and a quarter of it is for kids. Service was alright - no one really asks you if you need help nor do they greet you. I've never been inside a community store, so it's similar to an outlet store with most items being discounted. I found myself a nice beige sweater (for men's) for $10 off. We drove half an hour out from downtown NOLA to come here. Just glad we didn't come out of the store with nothing, haha.
