Obviously, Lisa and her team did a fantastic job with the landscaping. She presented me with three different design options, worked with me to stay within my budget, and then executed the project exactly as she explained she would. She even moved my project up on the schedule after I mentioned I was planning to sell my house soon, which I really appreciated. What really stood out, though, wasn't just the quality of the work, it was the communication. It was clear, transparent, and consistent before, during, and even after the project. That level of professionalism is surprisingly rare in the home improvement industry. I own a house that was built in 1887, and over the past eight years I've hired countless companies for projects including a new deck, porch, fencing, painting, paver installation, and just about everything else you can think of. One of the most frustrating parts of working with companies in this industry is the lack of organization and communication. They're usually quick to collect the deposit, but after that you're left constantly following up for project start dates, updates, and progress. Working with Lisa was the complete opposite. She was organized, proactive, and always kept me informed. It was honestly refreshing. If you want to roll the dice and deal with the same frustrations I experienced with two other landscaping companies before finding Lisa, go for it. But if you'd rather save yourself the time, stress, and uncertainty, do yourself a favor and call Lisa. I couldn't recommend her more.

We weren't familiar with Blu Dot, but looked into them and found that they had a store in Chicago! The store is beautiful. The furniture is fun and well-designed. I really like their simple and modern furniture. Our dining room has a nordic vibe and this bench matches well. I'm really glad we were able to go to the store and see and sit on the bench in person. There's peace of mind when you know the chair will be comfortable and exactly what you want. Our only hesitation with buying the bench was the weight capacity. Since it's a bench, you can probably fit 2-3 people on it and we wanted to make sure it wouldn't collapse! Alexis was very helpful. She gave us some helpful specs on the bench, offered to get back to us on the weight capacity, and gave us some color swatches. The next day, Alexis emailed me with the additional information and we were able to place an order! The bench was backordered (on Wayfair and Blu Dot) and the estimated in stock date was March (3 months away)! So it was a pleasant surprise when we were notified that the bench would be delivered 2 months early! Alexis was saying that Blu Dot only gives Wayfair a limited supply of their items, so we'd be more likely to get the bench if we bought directly. It's so much better to buy direct than going through a middle-person anyway. The bench looks great in our dining room and it is very comfortable. It is sturdy and has a good weight to it. Highly recommend shopping at Blu Dot. The service and product quality are exceptional.

We shopped around before ultimately picking a Joybird couch. We got our couch during a sale, and even with adding back in the five-year warranty (which also included two large cushions as part of the package) the cost was cheaper than the list price. Our delivery was several weeks after ordering, which was sooner than estimated; the delivery guys unwrapped the couch parts and put on the feet, but oddly did not clip the sections together; seems like that should be done while everything is in its disassembled state? So now we have to figure that out. But happy with the couch so far: very comfortable (I don't want to get off of it).

Things I love about my couch: - comfortable & spacious - beautiful color - very pet friendly (hides hair, easy to clean cat puke - iykyk) - easy to use pull out sleeper Things I don't love about my couch: - the cushions move WAY too much, specifically the chaise lounge cushion. The cushion sliding out has caused it to warp/bend (see photo). I have been adjusting the cushion DAILY to try to resolve the problem, but it persists.... - the two sections of the couch (the base with pull out couch & the chaise lounge) come apart DAILY and even when securely reattached, they do not stay together. Unsure if we just got a dud or if all of the couches do this. ^ these two problems drive me crazy. Because as comfortable and beautiful as my couch is, these two issues really make the couch look less put together. And for the price you pay, this shouldn't be the case.

Hillary (and team) were exceptional when it came to designing my custom shoe closet! In the master…read moresuite, I have four large closets adjacent to one another, two in one hall. I was hoping to designate this end hall (closer to the entry of suite) to a shoe closet, and Hillary helped me properly select and design the space. The two closets we considered are similar in size, but one is slightly wider. We went back and forth between these two closets, seeing how/where we could maximize the shoe capacity. We also debated between the Senzafine and the Ubek systems, and found out the Senzafine worked better in either of these two closets. After some time of playing with different ideas, we chose the slightly smaller closet and the Senzafine Night Walk-in System with inclined shoe shelves. The shoe shelves design has the option of LED lighting per shelf. With our final design, we managed to create a space that would accommodate nearly 80 pairs of shoes in one closet. I was so thrilled. The shoe closet and install is a 5month process (not including August/December). I am looking forward to the install in November-ish! Next, we are designing my son's large closet for clothes, shoes, and misc.; and, two guest bedroom closets. HIGHLY recommend Hillary and crew from Poliform! We loved meeting Hillary and working with her, and look forward to designing the rest of the closets with her!

When confronted about this, the delivery men turned aggressive, and they banged up the walls even more as they took the boxes out of the home. When I called EQ3, the were originally quite understanding, and they promised to take care of it. Later, they sent an email that required that I get **three** different repair quotes before they would "look into" covering the cost. That seems absurd - why would I call three different people to patch & paint dry wall? It's like talking to three vendors to change a flat tire. It seems like they're throwing up obstacles to avoid taking responsibility for their actions. So, in short, if you want you a new bad, a damaged wall, and a feeling of being unsafe in your new home.
