Very helpful. There were many customers, I did not know where in line I was, except the last one in. They paid attention and called me forward. I visited the Express Gun Locker twice this week. Both times customer service was exceptional. The wait was a little long. I don't think it was anything they could help because all available employees appeared to be helping customers the entire time I was there. As a first time gun buyer the employees were more than helpful with recommendations based on my needs. I was given their full attention and all the time that I required. I was not rushed and all of my questions were addressed. The employees were very knowledgeable and super courteous. I'm writing this during the Corona Virus Outbreak so things were SUPER crazy. But the employees were calm and patient. I would definitely recommend Express Gun Locker. I heard a few negative comments regarding one of their local competitors that is a chain gun store. But most of the people in line seem to have been return customers of Express Gun Locker and had high praise for them. read more

I purchased my very first firearm 27 days ago during my 3rd visit to Express Gun Locker. Since then, I've returned to the store 4 times for small purchases. Every experience I've had here has been positive. I read some other reviews and I can see why some people commented on personalities in this business. The guys aren't overly ecstatic when customers arrive, but there 100% helpful and very knowledgeable. Honestly, I would cringe if these guys reacted like Starbucks employees. That cheerleader energy annoys the crap out of me. With only 3 days to go before I Commifornia allows me to purchase my next firearm, you can bet your butt I'll be returning here to make that purchase. read more

I love this shop but their hours are not very good. They are open at most 7 hours a day. So if you work normal hours you'll never be able to come in here. They close even sooner on a Saturday and aren't open on a Sunday. I love the shop and they have a lot of products I could buy but I can almost never make it there before they close. If they are open 7 hours a day, 6 days a week, and take a lunch then no one, not even the manager or owners, are working full time. read more

All employees here are very knowledgeable and super friendly. Went to several other gun shops and they were super rude and didn't want to give any information or answer any questions, their response to everything was "return tomorrow, we're done for the day" Came across express gun locker and from the start Steve was nice and answered every question we asked, we got in line super early and they took care of us as soon as they opened and the process was super smooth. When I post a review I try to be understanding of all aspects of a specific business, their clientele, the demand and product. Express gun locker is ran by knowledgeable professionals who are very courteous to their customers and there's no negative issue other then a line her or there which some people who have posted believe it's the end of the world. With todays political climate you have to understand people are left to protect themselves and their families. So far I've bought multiple guns from them each one a different employee have helped me out and are very friendly. However, there is 1 guy who doesn't seem to have no interest on helping people and or in a bad mood this isn't just 1 time. This had happen in multiple occasions. 1 of which I asked how do I clear a jam with the Law since you need to remove the lower receiver. on which he replied with " go read the manual" and walked off. There was another employee who heard it and shook his head im guessing on disbelief. Another time I came in with my requirements, which they told me to bring. the person I spoke to on the phone was busy so he "helped me out". He rejected the paperwork that I had and sent me back home and said I didnt know the law about the requirements and to "bring the right ones" However that same day I sent them a email of the same paperwork I had and they accepted no problem. Other than that the store is nice and neat so are the people(except one). I'll just avoid being helped by that employee. read more

Let me tell you a little bit about my experience here. I don't live anyplace close to The Express Gun Locker. I have a teammate whomever who likes that little corner of the world and buys guns there like it's going out of style. I mentioned my desire to pickup a Ruger 10/22 for my son when he turns 7 so that we can begin learning the basics of firearms on some Father-Son trips. My buddy turned me onto the Crickett Precision Rifle. (Go ahead and Bing search that little Rifle. It's cool as it gets and the kind of thing little boys day dream about at night. It's basically a miniature Precision Rifle and looks like somebody left their Accuracy International rifle in the dryer too long. Small bipod, scope, and "Crickett-inny Rail".) Trying to find a .22 CPR proved to be very challenging but my buddy assured me that "He knew a guy." A few days later he tells me that The Express Gun Locker has one in stock for me. I road trip the distance to this place and met Phil at the gun counter. Mind you I've bought plenty of firearms over the years and consider myself a regular shooter. Recreational and professional shooting included I probably shoot at least three times a month, usually more. Gun counter guys can be a bit abrasive and sometimes a little smug. I lost track of how many in guys have left a poor impression. Not too many have impressed me like Phil. He greeted me like an old friend, gave me his absolute undivided attention, and helped me to discreetly inspect the CPR while my buddy and his wife kept my little guy distracted. Phil's enthusiasm and excitement for the purchase was evident and he recognized the significance of a young boy receiving his first firearm. On the day of pickup Phil even was willing to leave his work station to place the CPR in my vehicle so that my son wouldn't see it. Phil came off as a sincere and genuine man with knowledge about his products and - more importantly - a desire to make our purchase matter. We cheap talked during the transaction and he seems like the kind of guy that is a just plain nice guy. When we were done he thanked me for allowing The Express Gun Locker to be a part of my son's first gun buying experience and asked if we could email a picture of his first shooting trip. Here's the green slime: You want to buy a gun? There are plenty of places. Some of them try desperately to be ubër tacti-cool packed with bearded Tac-Bro's. Some are geared clearly to the hunting community and look at you puzzled when you ask for anything beside an out of the box Glock or a "Three-oh-something" hunting rifle. Others are LE/Gov only. If you want a store right down the middle, good guy pricing, lever actions to black rifles, and with a little bit of everything, then this is your spot. I can buy a Glock, Sig, or S&W at 200 different gun stores. What isn't always so easy to find is staff to treat you like you are their customer and they actually WANT to spend time helping you make your purchase. I'll put these guys on par with All State and Adamson. Head on down to The Express Gunlocker and ask for Phil. You'll be glad you did. read more
