Walked in to Main Street Pawn Shop and was rudely told to remove my mask, After walking out I walked back in and asked why there was no sign the answer (quoted) " We had a sign up but no one was reading it so we took it town" Wanted to thank this pawn shop for wasting my time and a pair of latex gloves. Been to many pawn shops in the area and this is the 2nd Pawn shop that will not allow masks at the least the other place has a sign outside saying no masks. Maybe if people want to keep masks on ask for there ID and hold on to it until said persons leaves. Been to 6 other pawn shops in the area and none of them had issues with masks. read more

Amber spoke to me on the phone about their inventory of guitar amps. I came in to check it out and found just what I needed at a decent price. Amber was helpful and cheerful. The shop has a lot of interesting inventory. I may return to check out more of their stuff. For example, they had a lot of cool looking comic books and several guitars. During the middle of the pandemic. When we were were told by law to have a protective gear/ face covering. The moment I walked into the store I was told to take off my mask and to keep it off. Not to mentioned The tone of his voice was high that it spiked my PTSD anxiety. I understand he my have been robbed or had a bad experience with customers in the past. But you should treat customers more respectfully with a low tone and ask them to take off their mask politely. As a military veteran this was my 1st and last time that I'll ever be there and I will not recommended anyone. read more

On Christmas Eve went in to by a ring for my wife. Gave it to her for Christmas and the next morning her finger was discolored from the fake gold. Called and was told all jewelry sales were final. After reminding them it was Christmas time and that COVID made the almost 400$ expense a difficult price they offered to trade for store credit. Took my wife in to decide on something new and that something new made her finger discolor in less than eight hours. Do not trust these people. Any one who gives them a good review probably does it because they can sell stolen stuff without question. The owners look like tweekers and so do half the clients in there. Highly recommend going ANYWHERE else. read more

I bought a PS4 about a week ago from this shop. I noticed from day 1 there was a weird connectivity glitch. It struggled to connect me to games when booting up sometimes, and would glitch out while watching Netflix or Hulu very often. I have a 5G network with only 2 devices on it and the other device runs perfect. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting my ps4 and Wi-Fi router several times. (Google's recommendation) I called the shop today and was super easy-going about it. The lady called back with an extremely rude attitude saying "IT HAS TO BE TODAY OR IM NOT DOING ANYTHING FOR YOU." Super rude demeanor, and I'd definitely rather take my business elsewhere where people know how to talk to others. Especially when they sell faulty, janky devices. NOT TO MENTION, when I purchased the PlayStation it still had all the old owners games/info. They never even checked the device for functionality in the first place. HORRIBLE!!! Customer Service is VERY poor!! They lie about their hours and close early especially when they are trying to prevent the customer from picking up their items!!! Twice we used them and both times our items were damaged!!! read more
