That alone should get you moving. But these aren't average. No, sir. These are the real deal. They've got all the meats and veg you expect (spicy ribeye--thank me later) but they've also got some other wonderful looking Afghani specialties. I might try the Mantu next time--looks wonderful. Good rice, good hummus, all that. But the star (besides the actual kabobs) is the green chutni. It's magic--very reminiscent of a chimichurri but with a twist. Pour that stuff over everything! I had the 1/4 burger and it was way above my expectations. I've never had a burger like this, it was the most juiciest and the most flavorful burger I've had in my life!!! Agree with another Yelper's observation about portion sizes--the kabobs here are smaller than other places, but I find they are jumbo-packed with flavor. I do wish their menu offered kabobs a la carte so that I can try out all the variety they offer. It's not easy to submit a custom order because of this; caused a mix up during my visit that left me waiting on a veggie kabob order that never emerged. When I finally rectified this at the register, I ended up having to eat two meals in one sitting. Kinda awkward, but at least everything was very tasty! This place is OK. First I will mention the good. Their kabobs are good (be warned they are a lot spicer then middle eastern Kebab.) Their lamb shank, while not the best quality, is a really good value. And their special menu of Afghan items are in my opinion obligatory to order one or two things to get some unique variety that you may not see somewhere else. So Onto the bad. Ordering for dine in can be a slow process, which normally doesn't bother me, but it is ALWAYS slow even if you are the only person there. Their kebab combo (meat, two sides, bread and rice) is a horrible value. It's around $15 and they give you 5 tiny morsels of meat, a small tiny handful of fries (like seriously less then 10 pieces, less then a McDonald's happy meal) and a spoonful of vegetable or whatever side you want on top of a pound of rice. I know meat can be expensive but its about balance. If you want to give me 5 bite sized morsels of meat, give me a big ol scoop of sides instead of a measly order. If you don't want to give me a nice portion of sides then give two skewers of meat instead of one. Every other kebab place gives two skewers anyways for the same price. But when I get small portions of everything in a combo, I feel like I'm getting ripped off. Another small gripe is the Mantu dumplings and the eggplant dish (forgot the name off the top of my head) are drenched in sauce which makes everything soggy as hell. Especially the dumplings you pick them up and they just fall apart everywhere. The sauce is good but if your ordering those sides request sauce on the side since by the time you get home everything is soggy. Also the cashier girl is very standoffish, and when I wanted to place an order to go over the phone she said "give me a second" then just hung up on me. I called back and she laughed and said "we were busy that's why I hung up" so that kind of sealed the deal for me. I normally don't care about wait staff or cashiers, but when you mix in bad value, long wait times, and then rude employees on top of that then that makes you an establishment i don't want to return too. Your food is tasty, but it's not worth the negatives. I will continue to eat there if I want a lamb shank for lunch or Bolani or Mantu until I can find those items elsewhere or y'all step up your game. read more

Lol, there is nothing EXPRESS about this place. That being said, if you have a couple of hours, the food is EXCELLENT and worth the visit.

Drove 25 miles to get here and it was really worth it. The customer service was phenomenal and the food was exceptional. I had the lamb chops over kabuli rice and my sister had lamb Kabab over white rice. Both dishes really hit the spot and it's safe to say we'll be coming here again. I saw a lot of people were complaining about wait time, but we didn't have any issues with that. We came at 12:30pm on a Wednesday afternoon. They were still busy, but no wait. The meat was fresh, the rice was sweet and flavorful, and the salad was like pico de gallo. The veggies were kind of overcooked, but I think that's how it was supposed to be? The naan bread was also super fresh and yummy! They gave us some spicy sauce as well, which was great mixed in with everything.
