I called Express Mobilty at the last minute before a long road trip and they were able bring me an electric scooter on a Sunday! I was a little worried about how long the battery would last, but they assured me it could go 6-8miles!!! I was really surprised. They also said the distance depends on how much weight is on the scooter as well. I rented the 3 wheeled one (I think 300lbs limit) because the others were for 400lbs and 500lbs. Weight wasn't an issue, I was using it for someone who gets tired easily. So the 300lbs, 3 wheeler was perfect. I got it in great shape; I think it was brand new. It also broke down into 5-6 pieces for easy moving, loading, and unloading. I took it on a week long trip and strolled all around philly, Baltimore, and NYC. I made sure to charge it every night and I never saw the battery meter fall below 2 bars from full!!! On one day we rode it for a full 9 hours (with a lot of stopping and going) from Wall Street to Times Square! There were a few other places that offered a cheaper weekly rate, but cheaper is not always better. I paid a little more, but I'm glad I did because the scooter worked great, was brand new, and I didn't have to worry about it breaking down, or the battery dying in the middle of NYC. I was visiting the DC area and a person in my party needed a wheelchair. We called a few places for estimates but by far Express Mobility had the best price. Other places wanted to charge a much higher daily rate than that at Express Mobility and to top it off include a "delivery " fee with no way of allowing us to pick it up because it was at a "warehouse" and then charge by the mile depending on the hotel. Luckily, I found Express Mobility, with a simple affordable rate and the man running the business (who was the one answering the phone) is very pleasant and professional. I am glad that if I was going to dish out X amount of money, it was with someone as nice and reasonable as him. read more

Our family visited DC for 2022 Spring Break. We rented two electric scooters for the week. They were delivered to our hotel and ready to use when we arrived. After the first day, i was concerned about battery life on one so I called and they replaced the battery that day. Both scooters worked well with no concerns the remainder of the week. Battery power was almost full at the end of each day. Customer service is excellent. Having broken my leg on a recent Saturday and finding myself in need of a wheelchair to accommodate my straight leg, I was sure I was going to be immobile until at least Monday. I found Express Mobility online and called, by then nearly evening, expecting to leave a message and possibly get some assistance on Monday morning. A professional answered the phone right away, asked a few questions about my need, and had the perfect chair delivered to my house within the hour!! I rented a scooter last weekend form Express Mobility for the weekend and it was at my hotel when I arrived. It was clean and fully Charged. It was so nice having the Scooter at the hotel! The DC Metro public transportation were accessible. I did not have to worry about getting around to the Museums and National Parks. I was able to use my Scooter in Downtown DC also. Oh my gosh Jebessa "Gilberto" is an absolute life saver. The airline took my battery from my mobility scooter on the way to washington DC. Called arou d to several places to see about a replacement. Noone had one. Jebessa said he did and would meet me in DC to drop it off. We met up, he told me not only did they take my battery. They took the entire case. So he told me to file a claim, and the airline would be responsible for not only a replacement, but a rental. He took 10 minutes to go get a rental. In that time I filed a complaint. His other company global repairs was responsible for loaning me my rental. He took my scooter back to his shop, and arranged for the battery and replacement case to be shipped directly to him, by my surprise. My site seeing vacation would have been ruined without his help. At the close of the week he came to drop off my scooter and pick up his in springfield. He is amazing. Thanks for saving my trip. And for just being the most about customer service. read more

My family and I went to DC, this past June for the weekend. I rented a scooter for my mother. I spoke directly with the owner, Jebessa who at the time was pleasant and courteous. His company would drop off the scooter by noon that Friday at the hotel in Bethesda, 15-20 min from downtown DC. The owner then asked what time to pick the scooter up on Sunday, I was unsure of what time we would leave so we both agreed I would when we finished with the scooter. The scooter arrived about 2 hours late, and the delivery person had clearly been drinking and looked like he was a random person paid to bring it to us. I did not complain, the man was actually nice and explained how to use the scooter. Come Sunday we visited a couple more monuments before heading back. Around 2-3 o'clk, the owner, Jebessa called and stated he is at the hotel, to pick up the scooter. I then replied " we are in downtown DC right now which is closer to you, would you like us to drop it off at your company. The owner Jebessa then started screaming and yelling at me " WHAT DO YOU MEAN! THE SCOOTER IS SUPPOSED TO BE HERE! YOU'RE WASTING MY TIME!! I, the customer was shocked and upset. I told him, "I paid for this scooter, and I also told you I would call when we was ready to return it. "I did not call and complain about your intoxicated friend dropping off the scooter". After the owner continued screaming at me for the next 2 min, he screamed " I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS, WE ARE YOU!!!" I mean just completely rude, psychotic, and professional. Mind you this is paid for. When returning, I asked him his name, and told him as a paying customer, I did not appreciate him yelling at me, like he knew me. I asked for his name, he said he does not have to tell me. I asked again, he gave me someone else's name. There was no apology for his conduct and he was completely calm as if he took his medicine. This was the worst customer service I have experienced in my life. I'm sorry this person got my money. If this is how he deals with good people, then maybe he is in the wrong business. I called late in the evening with only a few days notice to rent a wheelchair for my 87 year old mother in law who was coming to DC to see her granddaughter graduate. We were limited in our ability to get around town and they volunteered to deliver to my daughters house! and did so early. When no one at my daughters house knew about the wheelchair, they didn't just leave, they called me to check! And the delivery was a success. The chair was in wonderful condition and fit little grandma perfectly. The chair allowed her to visit the WW2 memorial where her husband was honored. And to also visit the museums, Lincoln memorial, and easily uber around the city because the wheelchair folded up so well. And when it was time to go, they picked up the chair! Express Services went the extra mile to make our trip a success, and were incredibly easy to work with. I very much appreciate their culture - and the attitude of the people who work there!. I rented a wheelchair for my Grandmother, so we could tour the Mall. The owner, Jebessa, was an absolute pleasure. He delivered the wheelchair surprisingly quickly, and even made arrangements to pick it up again a few days later, even though he was not currently on the clock! When I injured my knee on our first day of visiting DC, our hotel staff recommended Express Mobility. I checked their website and choose an electric cart to fit my needs. When I called Express Mobility they said they could have the cart delivered within an hour. Sure enough it was at our hotel before an hour had passed. Because the hotel staff would not allow them up to our room (my fault as I hadn't called them), they had to leave the cart at the front desk and the hotel staff delivered. I didn't know the first thing about running it, couldn't find the charger or instructions. When I called the company back they connected my phone to their service agent who had delivered the cart, he gave me instructions over the phone and said he would come over immediately if we needed him. He gave me his direct line and stated to call anytime there was a problem. We used that cart for a week, never ran out of charge even though we used it all day (plugged in at night), it took me everywhere without problem. It was even easy to break down and put in the trunk of many taxis. They came and picked it up the day we left at a time that we gave them. Their delivery and service was exceptional, the price was reasonable and it certainly saved our vacation. Great company, I'd highly recommend it. read more
