Took a truck here to get an oil change done as well as a tire rotation. Received a call 3 hours later saying the truck was done but the rotation. Come to find out they broke a lugnut and instead of fixing it they sent it on its way and stuck me with the stuff they broke. I get stuff breaks but if you break it you make it right not sticking me to find another place to fix what you broke. I've been coming to this location close to two years now. when I first went to this location for an inspection I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. but each subsequent visit got progressively longer. on 7/22/23 I went to have an inspection done. I was the only car thawed at the moment. shortly afterwards vehicles started showing up asking for an oil change. the cars that went in for an oil change were in and out in no time at all. after the fourth car went in and left is when they decided to do the inspection on a car that's is nearly 30 years old, which means it only needed a safety inspection. total time in and out for a safety inspection was 40 minutes. they waited 35 minutes to start the job that took 5 minutes to complete. WHY? after I told them that I will mot be coming back with either of my four vehicles ever again and asked why 4 cars can come in after me for oil changes and leave before me? there reply was. "I'm the only one to do inspections." if you're the only one and you're not doing the oil changes, then why I had to wait 40 minutes for a 5 minute inspection. his reply was "I won't be seeing you next year. service started out great but over the years has declined drastically. read more

First time ive come to an Express oil on my brothers recommendation because im in town visiting and don't have my tools to do everything my self. With Covid being a thing they were still fairly quick even considering there were about 4 other vehicles here when I arrived. As I said I usually work on other vehicles at home so I know what needs to be worked on. They basically just talked to me about things I knew were issues. Alignment, turn signal harness starting to burn out. He did mention the air filter which doesn't need to be done but he did say I could go another oil change before needing to fix it. Quick turnaround, friendly service, clean shop. As advertised, they offer fast oil-change services - I was out in 15 minutes! This is the first time I've ever been to a shop where you stay in your car while it's being serviced, but it's pretty cool to oversee what they're working on. They offer 3 different kinds of oil (see picture), and while they did give me their typical up-sell speech, I never felt pressured into purchasing anything extra. They were more than happy to give me a list of what needs attention next time and leave it at that. It's the little things that really set this place apart: from being offered a bottle of water while waiting, to having my door hinges lubed and windshield wiped down, and finally the quick safety check conducted at the end. Great place to get a quick oil change / tune up or car inspections done. The staff has been really nice every time I have been in. I like the oil changes at this location because they are really fast and you pull your car into the garage and stay in it while they work. My car inspection took about 15 minutes the other day which was great since they were really busy. I find the prices here are very reasonable. I visited the Service Center portion of this business recently (not the Oil Change) to have them investigate a rough idle. I really wanted to like this place, but my experience was a mixed bag and they did not meet my expectations. Short Version: The good: - welcoming and friendly - very clean - fast The bad: - inability to communicate which services will be performed - overstatement of services that will be performed - silly (but typical?) markup on parts Long Version: I was greeted by the manager, Terrell Klimek right as I got out of my vehicle and felt very welcomed. I explained to Terrell some automotive issues I have been experiencing recently and that I would like his shop to check them out. I indicated, and Terrell agreed, that some of the symptoms could be related to the vacuum system, and he indicated that they would check out everything. I agreed to a $42.50 multi-point inspection to root out the cause of the symptoms. When I came back to pick up the vehicle, Terrell indicated that his technician found a potential cause of the symptoms with a level 1 diagnostic on the computer system. The potential cause of the issue (a faulty oil switch) sounded reasonable, but I asked whether the vacuum system was tested and Terrell replied in the affirmative. When I asked what all was included in the multi-point inspection, Terrell evaded a direct answer and replied that the $42.50 was the cost of the level 1 diagnostic. I asked to speak to the technician about his diagnosis. With Terrell present, the technician indicated that he did not check the vacuum system or anything other than the level 1 computer diagnostic. So apparently a multi-point inspection is not a multi-point inspection and "Yes, we checked the vacuum system" means "No, not really." o_0 The cost of fixing the issue would be $181.99 for parts and $0 for labor after paying for the level 1 diagnostic. This doesn't seem too bad until you find the cost of the OEM part is $68 and the Express Oil Change & Service Center cost matrix specifies +166% markup. Thanks, but I'll order the part and install it myself. o_0! Anyway, I'm glad they can diagnose a problem, but they've really got to do a better job communicating what services they will perform and which services they won't. Overstating your service and then falling short of customer expectations is not bueno. read more
