I usually dread oil changes. The wait times and the sad, grimy waiting rooms are reasons to procrastinate doing it. Enter Express Oil Change. Literally entered and got my oil change immediately. I didn't even have to leave my car! Just drove over the bay and they went right to work. One of the techs, Patrick asked if it was my first time here and had me fill out an info card. While they worked, Patrick wiped my windshield down and came back over with a jar of candy for the kids. He also did a safety check and asked me to run my lights, brakes, horn, etc. Manager Gary and Assistant Manager Chris introduced themselves and handed me more goodies---koozies and these adorable hand wipe containers. Patrick then came back with bottled water for us. This is insane! In and out at about 10 minutes and it's not even my birthday! Tuesday is Ladies Day with $5 off. Although, I'm late writing this review. I have always had great service & professionalism at this place of business. I've mostly dealt with the technician who has been out due to a knee surgery who is great . Can't remember Names All the Techs have been Great the manager was reassuring when I last had a Transmission flush on my Lexus RX 350 they saved me a lot of money compared to the Dealership. Quotes were a little off from two different Techs but Quality of service Satisfactory .My suggestion would be to let Customers know length of time when doing something other than a quick oil change. I have had the oil changed in all my vehicles for years. usually great service. I had been using the store in irmo/ballentine. great shop. I moved to west Columbia and started using the store on sunset 378 in Lexington. took both my work truck and my personal there on the same day. they were relentless on selling me other things I did not need. telling me my tires were bad on my truck and that my belt on my personal was so bad it was about to fail. none of which were true. just stick to oil changes and not selling other crap I don't need! read more

Always get what I need and often have a decent conversation in the process. If all you need is a quick oil change, they're fast! As fast as or maybe faster than Take 5. But what I like about this place is they can do tire rotations too which you need to do every other oil change anyway. read more

Took my 2020 VW Atlas in for a standard oil change, left the place with oil spewing all over my driveway upon getting back home. Drove back to Express a quart and a half of oil down, only for the manager to explain to me that they pulled the actual dipstick tube out of my engine block, because it was "too tight". Instead of taking responsibility for their technicians neglect in disengaging the latches, BEFORE pulling the dipstick out he decides to blame a "tight dipstick". Every YouTube video illustrates disengaging the clips, before pulling out the dipstick. My driveway is stained with oil, they will not take responsibility for their actions; therefore, this is the last time we will be taking our 3 vehicles here. read more

This place is super. And fast. We get all our vehicles serviced here, and have had interaction with Diane, Rico, Terry, and Ruy...they are great at what they do. I have seen some reviews that say Terry is kind of gruff. He's just a matter of fact kind of guy. They are all very thorough and honest, never pressuring me to do anything more to our cars than what I ask for. I trust them and no longer go to our more costly dealerships. read more

Nothing "express" about this place. Went for an oil change and tire rotation and waited over an hour.

Went there for an oil change and unfortunately they did not have my filter. But what they did have from one man named Torry is a bad attitude. I did not appreciate his rude behavior towards me. Another young man, who's name I did not get, in the garage, was very helpful, however I did not have my oil changed there. I will not be returning to this exstablishment. First impressions matter. And Torry gave me a bad first impression. read more

They took the time to show me all of the filters for myself to decide if I wanted to change them. It was fast, efficient, and honestly a really good experience. I always intend to write reviews, but never get around to it. This is THE BEST oil change experience I've had in my life and I've been driving for more years than I care to admit! I was greeted quickly by Mike who was friendly and professional throughout the entire transaction. They went above and beyond by installing wipers and a cabin air filter I'd had riding around in my car for over a month, but was too chicken to try to install on my own. Superb customer service and the oil change was done before I knew it. I'm so glad I found them and I will definitely be a loyal customer as long as I live in this area! read more

Just went to Express oil in Lexington SC by Pizza Uno. They checked all tires, even spare, filled them and the spare with air, and provided a cap since one is missing. Took 10-12 minutes.. Free. He spent his time making sure that even my spare tire was ok knowing that I was heading out for the Thanksgiving weekend. No questions asked, and he was happy to help! Bought a set of tires from Adam and his team. 1st set was noisy. They worked with me to get a different set that was not as noisy. Adam was always very professional even when I got a little hard to deal with. Charles the service manager let me watch him balance all 4 tires and make decisions about which ones would benefit from road force balancing. This reduced my overall investment while maximizing the ride comfort. This was unexpected but very nice. My car now rides like it's on glass. If you need tires in Lexington this team will make sure you are happy. Jay is a service tech and was very helpful and polite during the whole process. If your are a car guy like me, finding a good tire shop where they aren't afraid to let you see what goes on behind the scene is a testament to their desire to go above and beyond to please the customer.
