We have gone here for about a year for Tire service and everything has been fine. For the first time we used them for an oil change. The service took forever and the next day I noticed oil spots all over my driveway. This is a new experience as the car never leaked before the service. Took the car back to the shop to have them assess the issue and they just said something about the filter and that it happens. They took no responsibility for the mess in my driveway. I came home and called the manager and he also had no apology and was no help. Won't be going back there again. read more

Do NOT let them convince you to do anything other than oil service. I needed a tune up and they insisted I had other issues. I ended up with a $5000 bill (a new engine would've been just as much), and my car still runs rough, and they didn't even realign my tires after putting two new tires on and the car pulls the right. Dave, Mike, and especially their technicians who earn commissions on what they tell you you need to get repaired, these guys are the poster example of why mechanics are generally not trusted. Ok... Here we are, awaiting the installation of the tires. This company DID immediately, and without hesitation accept the time most convenient for me to have tires installed. Now, additional good things. I want to claim the good as well as the bad. And, this is outstanding. They offered to install the spare tire back under the bed. In this GM vehicle, that's a huge pain in the neck. About 1 hour later, the job is done. No complaints on the time it took. While it is clear to most tire stores, the tires should have been rotated, to put the newest tires on the back, I'll accept the work and effort as slightly above average. Though it took longer than promised for the tires to be received, and the tire rotation failed to happen, I would say you have nothing to lose doing business with this company. Simply, be prepared for a possibility of something less than warp speed. read more

Extremely rude and unhelpful. I will not be returning and do not recommend them to anyone. They charged me $25 (cash only) for my sensor codes. He refused to tell me what any of the codes meant. I googled them and figured it out. I will go to Autozone next time. read more

I went to a few places today for an oil change and was repeatedly told we can't right now, next time call us ahead of time for an appointment. I arrived at Express Oil and was told to pull right in the bay for a 10 minute oil change. I stayed in my vehicle and didnt have to wait in a cramped waiting room where I couldn't see what was being done to my car. The tech who assisted me said my oil change would be $38.99. I was surprised it cost that much $41.72 with tax for five quarts of regular Valvoline and a filter. This place isn't the cheapest but they're quick. The tech sprayed my car door hinges with lubricant. I filled out some contact form and was able to pay with a credit card. They checked all my exterior lights and horn and I was able to leave. Express didn't offer as many free extras with my oil change as I expected like checking my tires or breaks. if you shop around you can find other car shops that offer cheaper oil changes but with a wait and it most likely won't let you drive in. When I used to have a sports car I preferred going to drive in oil change shops. I got tired of seeing the techs speed around in my car when I handed them the keys. There was also a few times I found oil residue on my driver door handle or had to smell sweaty stank from an employee being in my seat. I used to go to Mr. P's near the bridge in NPR. They're also a drive in oil change shop and offer to fill up your wiper fluid and put air in your tires and clean your windshield with an oil change. However the shop is ruin down and isn't very clean. I've also waited at Walmart for two hours for an oil change but not at Express. It's a brand new facility with professional employees. It's in a convienant location and I was in and out. Find Express Oil on Trinity Blvd. If you're on 54 you can find them behind the new Starbucks and Trinity Car Wash. read more

I arrived about 10am on a Monday. Second in line for one of the two working stalls. Only had to wait about five minutes to get into a stall. Once inside I was warmly greeted by the attendant who was excellent at customer service. $47 to do a full service with conventional oil on my old Dodge Dakota. The full service went fast. I was done in 15 minutes. Stayed in my vehicle the entire time. Also had the wiper blades replaced. The best part about the whole experience was when they re checked my oil after the oil change and showed me the dipstick with the fresh oil and oil level on it. Being a somewhat suspicious person about car service, this put my mind at ease about actually getting fresh oil. I will definitely go back again. read more

Had an oil change and a few weeks later discovered my car was leaking oil. Was taking my car to my dealer for other reasons anyway and they discovered that Express Oil Change neglected to put a crush washer on and cracked the oil pan causing the leak. When I went to Express Oil to ask them to compensate me for the damage they caused they said they would not because they didn't see the crack. They are an oil change facility and not a repair shop but they should be able to complete a simple oil change without causing further damage. Beware if you go here because if anything goes wrong, they are not going to take accountability and they clearly have workers who are inexperienced. read more

I brought my car in yesterday to repair a slow leak. The tech checked all of my tires and said the two back ones had a tread of less than 5/32, so he could not help me. I asked him about the front tire with the slow leak and he said that the tread was fine on that one. I then asked why he couldn't just repair the "good" tire and he said that company policy would not allow him. Bottom line was he wanted to sell me new tires, rather than perform the repair. I walked out and drove east on 54 to Tire Kingdom (54 and Gunn), where they immediately put my car on a lift. They determined that the bead just needed to be reset. They did this at no charge, creating goodwill and a new future customer. I have since found out that other people have had the same bad experience at Express Oil, so buyer beware about going in here. read more

My TPS light was on my dash. Went up to express oil and even though they were quite busy he stopped to take a look at my TPS light found out it was from my spare tire in the trunk with that he quickly got the tire up to the proper pressure The TPS light went out and I was on my way the technician didn't excellent job and Was very knowledgeable read more

Amazing service! I usually get intimidated going to get my oil changed and car check out at my dealership - not to mention how I always leave with everything costing nearly $200-$250. As soon as I pulled up, I was reassured that this was going to be different and sure enough it was! They are really interactive with their customers, you'll hear them shouting out standard procedures and stuff to workers below the car. They will explain everything to you and provide you with suggestions of some preventative maintenance you should do to your car. They clean your windshield, give you water, spray your door hinges and really care about giving you quality service. David was an amazing guy and I'm actually not dreading getting my car checked out now! Go during a weekday in the afternoon! read more

This was seriously the best (and quickest) service I've ever had when it comes to car work! They were SO friendly, quick, efficient, knowledgeable and courteous! Even if you aren't around where their location is - it's worth a drive. As long as they are open, I'll never go to another place to get an oil change or vehicle related issues - their service was THAT good. I just went for an oil change but while I was waiting, they cleaned off my windshield, oiled my doors, checked numerous other things and gave me a list of suggestions for future things I should be mindful of- all while doing this within about 10 minutes! I was unaware how they worked - and got out of my car to walk inside - a kind worker stopped me and told me they did things quickly there and to just pull my car up - still amazed that it was done as quickly as it was.
