Store manager (heavy set African Am) wanted to put car back on their alignment rack to see if the alignment was off. If Off, it's my fault. If it shown correct alignment specs, then it wouldn't be their fault. Asked the manager why he's yelling during our discussion and he said, "that's the way I talk." read more

A big shout out to Service Manager, Jimmy S. The team had an issue resetting my tire pressure monitoring system after installing new tires. I could have easily been referred to my vehicle dealer to resolve, citing a computer issue, but Jimmy used the situation as a training opportunity. He worked with his team and was persistent until they ultimately found a solution. I am overall pleased with the tire installation and alignment, and with Jimmy's personal involvement to find a resolution. I chose to try to get one of the first appointments of the day and waited for my vehicle, but it is understandable that might not be practical for all. I did not receive and high pressure sales tactics experienced by others, and I was there and able to observe the ongoing work once in a while. Don't go to this place to get your tire fixed. I sent my car to this place to get my tire fixed and it leaked after they fixed it. I went back to them and they said they could fix it but it leaked again. I went back to this place again and they said they couldn't fix my tire because the hole was too big and asked me to pay for a new tire. This company has no idea what an appointment means. I made an appointment to get my oil changed. I arrived on time and was told it would be a couple hours. The manager attempted to explain they allow many people to schedule appointments and as more schedule at the same time, it pushes out the expected timeframe. There are many issues with this. However, here are the main ones. An oil change, without question, should be less than an hour. When I scheduled the appointment, nothing told me it would take a couple hours. Nothing in my email confirmation says it. Lastly, and most important, the lady in front of me was getting an oil change. I heard their staff say she could be out by 930 and it was 910. I was driving home on 589, someone rolled down their window to scream that my right tire was flat! I called Goodyear about 40mins before they closed and told them the issue, they got my car right in, patched the hole (a small nail) and it was completely free. i picked up about a 5" screw in one of my rv tires. needless to say, i wasn't happy, the tire had maybe 350 miles on it. i visited the goodyear store hoping i could have the tire repaired. i was greeted and immediately disarmed with a warm welcome. the manager of the store came out and examined the tire. he explained that because of the screws proximity to the sidewalk it would be best to replace the tire. he said a repair is likely going to fall as the edge of the tire carry's much of the weight of the rv and quickly heats up. i took him on his experience and recommendations and had the tire replaced. his team had me in and out quickly. all while being professional and committed to customer service throughout the process. read more

My friends and I had a flat tire on the Suncoast Parkway on our way to a funeral for our friend that was being held that afternoon about an hour and a half away. We had the car towed to this Goodyear to have it fixed. When we arrived we explained our time crunch to the guy behind the counter, Nate. His lack of compassion for our circumstances was astonishing. He could care less that we were going to miss our friend's memorial service, saying that they were booked with appointments and couldn't get to our car for at least 2 hours. My friend and I both implored him to expedite the repair so we wouldn't miss the service and he and he refused saying we would have to wait. I finally spoke to a gentleman, Peter, who was working in the repair area and explained our situation. Thankfully he saw to it that we were taken care of and we were back on the road an hour later. I think Nate needs a little training on customer service and instruction on how to be more sensitive to people experiencing extenuating circumstances. His lack of sympathy was such a disappointment and my friend and I agree that we won't be future Goodyear customers because of it. read more

I Called the shop on rd 54 Odessa fl. and provided them with all information about the car tire sizes and what needs to be done. After receiving price quote I stopped by the shop to do the job. The price was 10 dollars more per each tire. I refused to perform this job since was not able to get an answer why the price over the phone was different from the price at the shop. In my opinion this is not the way to attract customers and rather shows dishonesty. Bunch of crooks. read more

I came for an oil change and the service technician told me I needed a new serpentine belt. I agreed and was told it would be an additional fifteen minutes. When a half hour passed, I inquired about the wait and was told the wrong belt came. At this point I have waited here for almost three hours for an oil change, Tire rotation and corrosion clean up on my battery. Just don't trust a technician about wear on a belt who doesn't order the correct belt. Furthermore, I just came home and checked the brake fluid which was stated to be green tinged. And it wiped clear and colorless on a paper towel. And my belt looks really good. Hopefully it wasn't damaged by removing it for the "wrong belt". I'll be following up with the dealer on all of this to get their opinion. read more

If you want your work done right, go here. These guys have never let me down and are truly the pros when it comes to auto care. They've even called me back and told me that they would not do some work I've requested (specialty alignment on an exotic), where they could have easily taken the money and said they did it. Be very, very careful before bringing any vehicle in there for tires or any service. 1) Their maintenance "checklist" is abused to pressure you to authorize more work than is necessary 2) They may try to sell you tires contradicting best practices - for example, mixing different tires on the same axle. 3) They are not diligent about paperwork or executing the Florida Estimate agreement before looking at your vehicle etc. Varies depending on who you're dealing with there. Sometimes customers leave their premises without being given any written records whatsoever of mechanical diagnosis or work done. 4) You are best advised to take your business elsewhere read more

I didn't have time to go to my dealer for a service so I went here. I made the appointment online yesterday and it was an easy process. Dropped off vehicle at scheduled time and the upsell process began. They tried to get me on a $250 induction service and replace my brake fluid. I said thanks but no thanks and was on my way. 45 minutes later I get a call from the service manager asking if I wanted the induction service again!!! I said no and to just do the oil and rotate. No problem right? I pick up my vehicle after work and was then notified that the online special only covered 5 quarts and that there would be a charge for the 6th quart. No big deal but should have been disclosed at drop off as I'm sure mine is not the only vehicle they have ever done. Little things like that will keep me from going back. read more

I haven't had great experiences at another Goodyear facility, but on the way home with family and friends in my Camry the temperature gauge seemed to indicate my radiator was about ready to melt. We exited at a convenience store/gas station and checked it out - it didn't seem to be overheating. But fearing damage to the engine, I drove down the road to a Goodyear Auto Service Center at the same location that just happened to be opened on the Saturday afternoon on the weekend of the 4th. When I described my concern to the person at the cash register, he answered pleasantly and said he would take a look. He walked almost immediately out to my car and took a look under the hood. After surveying the scene, he suggested that it probably was the gauge, not the engine overheating. But to make sure, he went in and got a instrument that allowed him to test the gauge on the panel, which apparently was faulty. He suggested it would be wise to get it checked, but said he didn't think it was running hot and would be safe to drive home. He refused any kind of payment for his help and we were off down the road and made it home without incident. It helped that there was not a major problem, as I feared, but that is the most helpful car technician I've dealt with. Pleasant, knowledgeable and genuinely concerned. If I lived in the area, I'd take my car back in a heartbeat - although I would consider cost (other comments posted). Do not, I repeat do not let them do any work on your vehicle!!! I used to have my oil changed here every time it was needed. One time I was told I needed new brakes, coincidentally enough I had changed them a week prior so I was very aware good year was trying to scam me for money. I have not returned since until last week when my girlfriend needed a quick oil change and we live close by so figured we'd drop it off at good year. They ended up calling us about an hour after leaving her vehicle and said she needed new brakes, it was supposedly "metal on metal" which is not good. We tell them we will fix it ourselves after they quote us a price of $400 to replace brake pads....are you out of your mind! Upon picking the vehicle up and looking at the brakes I notice they are perfectly fine and not at all near "metal on metal". I don't know if all good years are money suckers or just this one. When you drop your vehicle off for an oil change and they give you a laundry list of things that are wrong, do yourself a favor and take it somewhere else for a second opinion! read more
