This lack of relationship led to my son being anxious at appointments. I think they lack the patience/experience it takes to build a relationship with the child, and engage them first. I also had a co worker that had the same experience, when her son wasn't progressing they just stopped services. I think they can improves in working with toddlers.

I decided to start the process and do the evaluation; once I got to meet Mrs.Lane I knew this was the right place. Sadly, insurance does not cover our speech services so this is an out of pocket expense for our family. When I realized after 3 weeks that my son started speaking more clearly, having tons of additional vocabulary, and feeling more confident I knew that I had chosen the correct place. The cost does not compare to the outcome I've received. We have now been working with Mr.Jasper and he is just as amazing. Erin is a very knowledgeable person, who not only is very passionate about her job, but gives her all to the kids. We need more Erin's in the medical field. My younger son was also evaluated and she was honest and said his speech was age appropriate; could've easily told me otherwise knowing I am an out of pocket client. I appreciate the honesty and all the resources you have shared with me. Walking in there all the kids seem to enjoy being there, not once have I seen a child upset or unhappy when coming out. I will forever be grateful for this place as my sons speech has improved 1000%. He loves coming to speech and it's always a pleasant drive going there.

One of her students tried and almost got it,, dear heart, then the second girl got it in. Both very sweet girls and didn't deserve the crap that their instructor gave them. He would not even make sure my dad was using his walker. He would not even empty the little urinal container after my dad used it. He didn't give my dad his lunch or medicine at certain times when asked to by my mom. My dad had so much distrust of "A" that he would tell him he didn't want lunch because he literally didn't trust "A" to fix it. When Maxim was told about all this several times by my mom, they just told her they had no one else. They did nothing to try to make the situation better. Maxim was paid thru the VA because my dad is a veteran, so I guess they didn't care to actually do their job but just wanted to collect the money. We are now moving on to a different care agency. I feel so bad that my dad, and mom even, had to put up with this awful service for so long.
