I was very excited since it was virgin hair (I have never dyed my hair before). I wanted a honey brown, Jessica alba 2000s hair. She said that what she had was a balayage. So I agreed to it but I did not think a balayage would be red or copper. When I seen the results, i am not the kind of person to tell her I did not like it at all. But inside I was very disappointed and sad. My birthday is next week and I wanted to feel different and now I sure do. Don't get me wrong she is a nice lady but this is completely not what I asked for. It is a nice color but I was not mentally prepared to be a red head. This was my first time at expression hair designs I came in for a Brazilian Blow Out done by Lauri she was so nice and professional! And really took the time to explain to me every step of the process. I have a-lot of hair and she was very patient. The final result is so beautiful!!! It's been about 3 weeks since getting it done and Im still so in love with it there is a slight wave in my hair if I don't blow dry it out after washing (she did tell me to expect that) I will definitely be coming back to her. I must say my hair missed Vicky for almost 7 months! I was finally able to go back after stage 3 during this global pandemic. I walked inside the salon and everything was 6 ft apart. Vicky made sure I had my mask on and sanitized the chair she was gonna work on with. Let me just say my hair needed her magic so bad, once again she killed it she did exactly what I asked for which was a blunt cut with long layers. She washed, cut, and styled my hair. I did not like my haircut. I had bad ends that I wanted to remove and wanted a straight cut. Since I did not want to pay to get my hair shampooed or styled, I was charged $28 dollars. I am not an expert hairstylist but I do know that hair that is wet will be more manageable to cut evenly and with control. I did not want to pay for any of their products on my hair but common I couldn't get some free water on my hair? The young lady did not bother to wet my hair with water or to even ask me which way I part my hair. I literally took off my cap and told her I just wanted a straight cut and the way my hair was when I took off my cap was the way she began to start cutting.
