Great pedicure execution, but botched manicure and poor service handling. I booked a VIP pedicure, manicure, and brow wax well in advance before a trip, spending nearly $300 total. The shop itself is very pretty, but I paid for a professional, premium luxury service and did not get that today. The pedicure technician (Jaden) was wonderful. The massage chair was nice, the service was relaxing, and she did a great job on the application. However, management failed to stock the premium Rose Quartz products included in the VIP package I paid for, substituting hot stones instead. Despite this, Jaden seemed genuinely interested in having my visit be as relaxing as possible.. and I appreciate her great service. She took her time with me and made it special. I really enjoyed the scents! While the menu explicitly states all nail services come with a complimentary beverage, I was never offered or given anything to drink. My manicure by a different technician (Julie) was incredibly disappointing, rushed, and looks cheap. There was zero proper nail prep...no cuticle work, cleaning, or detail work around the nail beds. To make matters worse, Julie repeatedly criticized my color preference. Jaden even explained to Julie that I liked the color, but Julie kept complaining that the tips were "too light" while painting them. Just do what makes your client happy. While rushing through my nails, Julie spent time checking her phone and talking to another client. She openly stated she was scared to ask that client to wait if she completed my brow wax. Instead of honoring the appointment I booked well in advance, she just apologized and turned me down for the brow service entirely. The finished Gel-X nails look messy around the edges. For Gel-X nails that cost $77, they should look flawless but look like cheap press-ons from a grocery store. Out of sheer frustration and the urgent need to scramble and find another salon to do my eyebrows immediately before my trip tomorrow, I just had to take it and get out of there. I understand salons get busy, but pre-booked appointments and client preferences must be respected. I booked my brow wax in advance, yet Julie openly admitted she didn't want to make another client wait and refused to do it...I paid salon prices for a manicure that looks unprofessional. I'm very disappointed with how my nails turned out, especially for the amount I was charged. Throughout the appointment, I tried to communicate feedback respectfully, but I felt like my concerns were dismissed instead of addressed. Some of my nails are uneven and not straight. When I pointed it out, my nail tech said she would file them, but the alignment still wasn't fixed. I also had issues with some of the colors being used for the design. I specifically asked to avoid bright highlighter tones, but I kept being shown similar shades anyway. After repeating myself several times, I eventually just settled because it felt like my feedback wasn't really being heard. At one point, I asked for more yellow on the sides of the design, and instead of just adjusting it, she tried arguing with me about it before eventually adding the yellow. The nail art itself also came out sloppy in multiple places. Some of the designs look weird, uneven, or off center. The overall result was disappointing and feels low quality. At the end of the appointment, I just agreed that the nails were "cute" because I was uncomfortable continuing to go back and forth and wanted to avoid conflict. Unfortunately, the photos speak for themselves. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality, attention to detail, and professionalism when receiving customer feedback. read more

I wish I knew who my tech was for my pedicure, but I came in right after a terrible experience at another salon and just wanted a quick freshen up for my feet. The tech was very kind to me and worked quickly. She didn't get annoyed with me for just wanting a basic pedicure (no gel). She cut my nails the perfect length and got me in and out within 30 minutes without compromising the quality of work. She gently reminded me to put a little Vaseline on my feet at home to make sure they stay moisturized. She also offered for my partner to come sit with me during my dry time, which was really nice of her. She gave us both some $5 off coupons for our next visit. recently visited this nail shop with a friend, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. We both paid $130 each, expecting quality service, but the results were far from acceptable. Our nails came out very thick, uneven, and overall poorly done. When we politely expressed that we were unhappy with the service, the technician was rude and unwilling to help. She stated that she had only been hired a week ago, which was concerning given the lack of professionalism and skill. Despite this, there was no effort made to fix the issue, offer a refund, or provide any kind of solution. We came all the way from California and expected much better service. Instead, we left feeling like we wasted our money. Customer service is extremely important, and this experience did not meet even basic expectations. I feel as if we paid for the looks of the shop more then our service I would appreciate it if a manager could reach out to me to address this situation. This salon is a new addition to the Henderson area and you can tell they put a lot of thought into the space because it is super chic with modern touches everywhere. I was like where am I lol. Luxury leather couches and even a bar area that gives it a boutique feel. A bar what the fancy af but very welcoming and I love it. I literally felt at home to be honest with how nice and polite and informative everyone was. Julie and Jessie were so good to us. I booked 2 deluxe pedicures for my mother's birthday. We both got milk & honey. I've never had a pedi before and was pleasantly surprised by the massage. Julie was thorough with her massage which is perfect for me constantly being on my feet working in healthcare. Tracy was amazing. The shop was a little short staffed and I didn't mind waiting the 40 mins but it was definitely worth the wait. Shortly after a bunch of staff showed up to accommodate those who were waiting. Tracy took great care of my embarrassing ingrowns during my pedicure but I'm glad it was her who took care of me. They will ruin your nature nails. The lady I had was older and seemed in a hurry. I had long nature nails with gel and I had to cut them down for work. I went in and this is what happened to my nails. I told the lady that I wanted to take the gel off, obviously she didn't know my nails were natural. She started to drill off the gel polish instead of doing the foil and cotton ball method. She drilled my nature nails!!!!! She STOPPED and hesitated, So then when she realized she made a mistake, she proceeded to get a bowl and put a hot towel inside with plastic over it and then proceeded to put acetone. She then told me to put my nails in the bowl . The acetone was so hot it ruined my nails. I used to come here but never again!!! read more

I visited Expressions Nails & Spa today for the first time. I had an appointment for a pedicure and hard gel fill. I was greeted promptly upon arrival and offered water. The atmosphere was pleasant and everyone seemed cheerful. The space was gorgeous and they even had a cute little bar! There were several options to choose from for pedis, and I chose the detox which was amazing. The massage chair felt great and the pedi was super relaxing filled with aromatherapy, hot rock massage, paraffin wax....the works. They had walls of nail colors to choose from which was nice, plenty of options available. My nail tech is Michelle and she does amazing work! She takes her time and ensures customer satisfaction every single time. She pays great attention to detail and it really shows in her work. They offer other services like facials, eyelash extensions and waxing among other things. I look forward to trying those services out in the future.
