They started with the summer classes which by the way are a GREAT deal. You can try classes for a very low cost. Although they can be shy they immediately warmed up to the teacher and as a parent I just loved the studio. Now that we've been at Elite for about 7 months, I can't imagine my girls taking dance classes anywhere else. In fact, we've added another class and they want to take more. The instructors are attentive to proper training and development to prevent injuries. In the 6+ years that I have been associated with this studio I have not seen any eating disorders or unhealthy practices. The performances are FULL productions at the beautiful Martin Woldston Fox theater. The Academy of Dance is also the home of the non-profit Spokane Youth Ballet. Dancers from the entire area are welcome to audition for the productions and performances at the FOX Theater. These productions are original choreography and never disappoint.
