We had a plan in place with our vet, but plans change on a dime for older dogs and the day before we had intended for our vet to take care of things in our home, our pet's condition abruptly changed and our vet suggested we reach out to Paw Prints Forever as she had worked with them before. So we did. We could not have been more grateful with how they handled things. They were able to get a vet out to us that night to care for our beloved Shelby. Amanda was so empathetic and professional from my first tearful phone call to the post care following the procedure to picking up her ashes in Malvern. The vet (who I think may have been the owner I don't recall his name) showed up at the time we agreed upon and handled everything with professionalism, dignity, and grace for Shelby. They had the right tone. The right balance of helpful suggestions and space. The right approach to ending her life. The right approach for the after care to remove her from our home for the final time. It's a sad thing to make this final loving responsible decision for our pets and they were just perfect.

Any pet parent will tell you that losing a fur baby is one of the most awful feelings in the world…read more It's a different kind of hurt. Crippling. Crushing. A feeling that you wouldn't wish upon anyone. That's exactly how I felt when I unexpectedly lost my feline son, Osiris, a few weeks ago. I was in total shock, overwhelmed with grief, and didn't know what to do or how to handle the situation. Fortunately, my best friend (who used to work for a veterinary clinic) knew exactly where to take my fur baby where he would be treated with dignity and respect. I requested that he be cremated so that I could scatter his ashes in the place he loved most as a kitten. I also requested an imprint of his paw. What they gave me was so much more. In about three weeks, I received a beautiful blue bag containing a lovely card from the folks at Pet Memorial Services expressing care and sympathy for my loss. A beautiful and moving poem was printed in the card. Within the card, they also enclosed a tuft of his beautiful fur, a small brass plate bearing his name, and a certificate of cremation. His ashes were placed in a lovely hand-carved wooden box, contained within a sealed plastic bag, and housed inside another pretty blue satin bag to ensure that there would be no spillage. They also etched his name into the mold of his paw print. The folks at Pet Memorial Services helped to make an unfathomably difficult situation so much easier and allowed me to give my little one the send-off he deserved. They treated my fur baby with dignity, respect, and care and I simply cannot thank them enough. From the bottom of my heart... Thank you, Pet Memorial Services.
