If I could put zero stars I would, because the staff is incredibly rude. Specifically one tall dark hair light skin male who refused to accept my Colorado registered digital ID, even though it's required by law to do so. Not only did he not accept it, but ridiculed me and treated me poorly in the process. If that's the rule of the bar, then why have I have I used it at least 10 times in the last couple months. It is the law. Not to mention how they delivered that message was the rudest experience I've ever had. read more

Came here to watch a football game and maybe grab a bite to eat, but they do not serve food unfortunately. They also have no sound on the TVs, but you could probably request it. It's very dark and doesn't really have any special charm or features that make it stand out above other bars. It's nice that they have a pool table, but it's a pretty crappy one. The bathroom is also disgusting and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks. Unfortunately this is the closest sports bar too me... Hoping I can find something else not too far read more

Went he tonight with my friend. It was alright except the incident that happened on the way out. We only left s three dollar tip on a 23 dollar tab because it was hard to get the bartenders attention. Seemed like she was more interested in talking to her friends than working. This is simply a really nice neighborhood bar. I visited twice before writing my review, to make sure my positive experience wasn't a one-off. And both times, I had a great experience! Erin has been my bartender, and she is really friendly, prompt, and just generally super nice and pleasant! Plus she makes a great cocktail, and is super attentive. The vibe is very low-key and casual. They have tons of TVs, so it's a great place to catch the game. The regulars are really friendly too, you'll feel at home right away. If you are in the neighborhood and want a stiff drink with wonderful service, I'd highly recommend Extra Innings. read more

I think it's crazy I'm only the second person to review this place! Maybe everyone who goes there sits down to do this and they're like "why write a review about Extra Innings when I can just go to Extra Innings?" Genius! I like this place because it's a great neighborhood dive-ish bar; within stumbling distance of my place, the bartenders are really nice and the drinks are super cheap. I really like this place because they always have the best games on, the other customers there are always friendly and someone always buys us shots. Interesting little spot connected to a Pizza place. First came in while waiting for a pizza. Have come back a few times since. The staff went out of there way to meet first timers. I have been to this bar three times now and the service is hit and miss. Some bartenders will come to your table and others will make you order at the bar. This can be quite annoying especially if the bar is full and you have to shout over someone. I appreciate that they have a fine selection of craft beers on draft. No way, people haven't reviewed this place? Say WAT?! Oh never mind, I kinda like it that way. Keeps all the hipsters out. I couldn't abide if they decided that this is a "Totes über cool out of the way place that serves PBR." Yeah, they do have PBR for those of you that want it. More importantly though they have some Colorado beers around, with the always ever present New Belgium, to Oscar Blues and a few other larger brands. You probably won't find some of the teeny tiny ones in here, but there's more than enough to wet your whistle. They also have a goodly selection of liquor. Enough that if you aren't sure what to have you will have some selection. Prices are reasonable, and a little lower than you probably expect. Not the cheapest in town, but a small cut above. The location is great. I say this because every time I've ever come across a bar in a strip mall, it's always going to attract the best of crowds. The people that are here are your local drinkers. No trendsetters, no uppity types, no people that you always hate hanging around. Everyone, is just....well...NORMAL. Which is so nice sometimes. The staff are always really friendly, and after only two visits were able to remember my face. I seem to see all the same people here, and even if they don't know you, a friendly nod and hello is more than likely on its way to you. People here don't mind budging up to allow you access to the bar, and more than likely will chat you up whil you're there rather than give you a sullen look and moving a fraction of an inch to allow you in like some places. Bonus, if you come in during the day you'll find all the older crowd cracking bawdy jokes with the local barfly that has been around 20 years and listening to her sass them back. The TVs are strategically placed so you won't miss the game no matter where you stand in the bar. All in all a good place hidden away in this little area of Hamden I call home that continues to impress me with their little local haunts! read more

Wanting to try a new place for Sunday football where I can watch my 49ers and Nate can watch his Bears, we decided to pull up the Yelp app and see what was close by that we can try. This little gem popped up and I can't believe we haven't been here yet. We walked in and there was a full bar. We sat at one of the tables nearby where we could both see our games. The bartender came over and we decided on a pitcher. (Domestics $6.50 and Micros $11) There isn't food here but people were ordering in from surrounding restaurants so that is an option. The service was friendly and we will probably be back one of these days. read more

Cool little dive bar for drinks and darts. That's about it. Pool table is not level and it's really dark in there. They are open late though which is always a plus! Bartenders and management have always been very nice. A few TVs will always have sports on. They don't have any food which is a bummer, although I'm not sure I would want what they're serving... A casual neighborhood dive bar, friendly service and enough flat screens to watch several sporting events at once. There are no drink menus, or beer list you go in and tell them what you want. You can get 90 schilling and Denver beer co ale which is good enough for me. I live across the street so i do go in from time to time. Usually friendly neighborhood locals to talk to and will buy you a drink after you get to know them. A good place to have some drinks during the week or weekend. This place sucks. The Asian man that owns it is always there and I've witnessed him start conflict with customers. Myself and a few others left after witnessing this. I am a fan of dive bars and this one is solid. Cheap drinks, free popcorn, and you can even order pizza from next door. The bartender's are all very nice as well. But, the best part is that it is walking distance to my house, haha. read more

My husband found this bar after our previous bar closed down (for good reason), and we've been coming here for about a year and a half. All of the bartenders are simply amazing, and know exactly what we want when we walk in, and frequently have our drinks ready before we find somewhere to sit down. There's (free!) popcorn available if you need a snack, and pizza and other food on the strip if you want a meal, and they'll deliver it to the bar when it's ready. The beers are great, the liquors poured heavy, and the conversation is fabulous with the regulars. It's a great mixed crowd, and always respectful and respectable. I've only ever had an issue with one patron, and the bartender shut that shit down fast. I feel safe here, and am always treated well by everyone. read more
