The movers made contact when they were en route to my location, and showed up on time. All three of the movers introduced themselves, and post my tour of what they needed to move, they went to work. Our move was sizeable 3bd apt in a house to a 2bd smaller townhouse. They disassembled, reassembled, and arranged furniture in the most effective configuration. They were real people who truly cared about the job they did. They also understood how stressful moving is. My move took 6 hours and they were moving the entire time. Nothing broken and they were a super effective team. (hopefully no time soon...the process of moving bites) If I ever need movers again Mozart Movers are going to be my choice. It is not climate controlled, which was disclosed to me, but they said it had heating and a dehumidifier. On December 1, I received a message that they are doubling my rent in 30 days, which is clear bate and switch, and shady business practices. They know it's challenging and expensive to move so they attract you with a lower rate and take advantage of you once you are moved in. They also require a 30-day move out notice so I have to tell them now that I'm moving out without having a moving company lined up if I want to avoid the rent hike. I now have to coordinate a move during the holidays. I strongly recommend avoiding this place. See photo below. For reference my rent was $46 before. When I called to complain, I was told that a computer decided that the rent went up!?!?

Recently, I went there to move some stuff in and out. I made a big error: I locked my unit in the "open" position. The folks there check these things regularly, and sent me an urgent message by email. Asking me to contact them. Tyler, the man on site at the facility, could not nave been kinder or more sympathetic. Long story short, my stuff is in storage in the Bay State, and I live in Brooklyn, NY. Probe? Solution: I went to a local Public Storage, where the very kind snd patient Shaquira helped me. It turned out to be more complicated than we all thought, because the fax of my license did. It go through. Shaquira came up with another solution: she sent a PDF of the licensor to Tyler. My treasures are stored on his small space and these two employees totally understand. By nightmare I mean price increases of 50% in just seven months, no climate control despite it being in the contract, a mice infestation with droppings all over my unit, elevators out of service for months at a time, a dismissive front desk that blamed everything on the company, and management refusing to return calls--one time for seven weeks straight. Seeing every one of those issues now being addressed, maintained, and proactively handled is incredibly refreshing. Ashton from the Wakefield location was helping me out in West Roxbury on 12/2 , and they were an absolute joy to work with. I couldn't be happier with the switch and finally have high hopes for this place again. I truly hope this feedback reaches the proper channels--Ashton deserves recognition for a 10/10 experience. I'm also laughing at the review that Ben wrote because that's not what happened at all I was literally there when it happened and it's kind of upsetting someone would lie and jeopardize someone career over $12 but whatever. Insurance is mandatory whether it's just the $12 one, it always has been, they slipped it in as an extra change with extra space so I'm not sure why it's an issue now. Extra space did not do things by the book and unfortunately secure space is going to have to undo and fix all of their mistakes and I think they are doing an awesome job being transparent about it. But that's just my take.

Also, the gated entrance hasn't worked since they took over and the cleanliness has declined. I was there cleaning out my unit yesterday and saw a dead mouse in the hallway, and either a human or very large dog had defecated by the door. Also note there is no way to cancel your unit online. I called twice yesterday to cancel and was told I have to wait to hear back from the manager. Still no response.

Drive through bay for your car and truck makes you feel super safe even if you're a female going to and front the unit alone (most storage facilities are terrifying). The bay is also clutch for moving trucks especially if a rain storm or blizzard hits on moving day (we had one of each). It's well lit and bright. Units are all super clean as is the rest of the facility. It's well staffed and Leo is wonderful. Climate control will keep your precious belongings safe even in frigid Boston winters or humid summers. We tell everyone we know about ezstorage. I had just resigned to the fact that all storage units are terrible, sketchy places often with homeless people living in them if you're anywhere near Boston, oh and they'll rip you off too and raise your rates or never stop billing you. Having had a small business in the same vicinity believe me my tendency would be to be as supportive as possible but the treatment I received was inexcusable. 1. I never missed a payment. During Covid, I mailed my monthly payment within days of being due ( even though my own vendors were months behind) and due to the mail service at the time being very slow, I was slapped with a late fee which took some discussion to remove despite the whole world at the time being exempt from late rent and eviction. 2. More recently I went to move items out and had an accident where my face was bleeding profusely-- no one was in the office or reachable by phone ( I sat by my phone with blood all over my clothes , crying and trying to reach a family member. Why the manager did not forward his phone to his cell in this day and age is beyond me and should be a security requirement, but the fact that I later learned it was he walking by me numerous times without an inquiry was unbelievable! The man with him later turned out to be quite kind and got me ice once I figured out that the manager was on the floor. 2. The next time i went to the unit was the 5th of the month and my check had been mailed on Monday the 3rd. I could not get in despite the fact there is a 10 day grace period. The manager told me he could override the controls but only if he were in his office which, based on past behavior, could have trapped me there. I was in the process of getting him a personal cc ( would also need to cancel my check) when he hung up on me-- seriously? 3. I was pretty upset when I called back and mentioned his neglect when I was injured and lack of safety to which he replied " I am not here to serve your beck and call." 4. I recently came for some cheaper-than-Home-Depot moving boxes and was in and out in under 5 minutes since I knew how many of each I wanted. The man behind the desk even helped bring the boxes out to my car. I returned a week later with my original receipt to return the boxes I didn't use. The manager was not there so I was told to leave my information and the refund would be processed once the manager got in. I checked my credit card transactions a few hours later and got the refund.
