Can you even imagine receiving the news that ¾ of your valuables, heirlooms, and memorabilia--including those of your recently deceased husband--are missing because the movers amazingly LOST an ENTIRE CRATE of boxes? It's heartbreaking and frustrating and financially devastating! I remain ready and willing to resolve this matter, but they have ignored my recent pleas for fair reimbursement. Nothing was broken, damaged, or missing. The move into my new space was just as smooth as the move out of my old one. They carefully followed all of the building's rules for elevator use, placed furniture exactly where I requested, and neatly stacked boxes in the appropriate rooms. I felt that Mike, the owner, was able to explain the rationale behind each part of the price. I talked to two movers before settling on Grand merci and both gave low-ball quotes and when they arrived at my apartment hiked the price up a TON. Almost double! Mike was honest and stuck to his quote. His team was professional and they moved my things safely. Mike called and reassured me throughout the whole process and I could tell he always had my best interests in mind!

I kept the magnet for this business on my fridge for 8 years. Many roommates called them. Every time someone moved, this team was wonderful. There was even one time when a roommate called them and lied to them about how much she had for her move. (I was very bothered as were roommates. She wasn't allowed to renew her contract there for a reason.) Still, the men showed up with a large truck and honored their original quote. To top things off, where she was moving to, she had several stair cases that she did not tell them about!
