Very Disappointing Experience…read more This was my first time hiring professional movers, and unfortunately, it was an extremely disappointing experience. We were originally quoted 4-6 hours, but the move ended up taking approximately 11 hours. During those 11 hours, numerous items and parts of my home were damaged, including: * A buffet table was broken. * A Sonos speaker was damaged. * Brand-new hardwood floors were scratched. * A box of dishes was dropped and broken. * Paintings were damaged. * One of the movers used approximately three rolls of my personal packing tape. * One mover took approximately 15 drinks from my refrigerator. * One of the movers arrived late and, during the move, actually fell asleep in his truck for a period of time. The most frustrating part is what happened afterward. The owner required me to pay the full amount and told me that he would handle the damages through the company's insurance and/or figure out a resolution. He then told me he was out of state and would get back to me. Since then, he has stopped responding to my messages. I want to make it clear that the two movers themselves have actually been very nice, genuine, and honest throughout this process. They acknowledged what happened and admitted responsibility for the damages. My issue is specifically with the owner's handling of the situation and the complete lack of communication after receiving full payment. I gave this company the opportunity to make things right and handle the damages professionally. Instead, I am now left with damaged property, damaged floors, and no response from the person who told me he would take care of the situation. At this point, I will be reaching out to 3TV/Arizona's Family On Your Side, filing a formal complaint with the Arizona Attorney General's Office, and seeking legal counsel regarding the damages and the company's handling of this matter. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this company to do your research and understand how they handle damage claims before hiring them. I expected a professional moving company to take responsibility when things went wrong. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.

Unfortunately his business practices left me with no choice. I decided to hire Priority One to help with my move after learning more about Brandon's inspirational story. He started his own local company after his daughter was born a few years ago. Brandon was professional to work with along with the two kind gentleman he sent to my apartment to help with the actual move, hence the 2 stars. The two guys were hard working as they moved all of my belongings from my apartment, to/from the moving truck, and into my new house. They even removed my three TVs from the wall including the mounts which was very convenient. However, I regret not turning on the TVs immediately after they were moved to my new house! This was a very expensive and hard lesson to learn because I splurged on my 65" Sony Smart TV last year for ~$2500. I turned on the TV expecting to watch a movie a few days after the move, only to see the entire screen RUINED! I immediately called Best Buy because the TV was less than a year old, and there was faint hope that they could help. I updated Brandon via text message and he responded with concern and seemed willing to work with me towards a fair resolution. Best Buy's technicians arrived a few days later who informed me that the TV is a total loss, because the screen was ruined due to impact with an object while in the moving truck. Brandon screens his calls and refused to answer any of my multiple phone calls since. The Best Buy technician even tried calling and left a message explaining how and why the TV is a total loss. I tried calling Brandon every day for a few days with no luck, which is quite unfortunate because his business has so much potential! It took them an hour just to take apart my king-size bed. The day before, a friend and I moved all 70 boxes ourselves in about five hours total, including loading and unloading. I hired the movers only for the large furniture: a king-size bed, two nightstands, a dresser, a bench, a 65-inch TV, a TV stand, a sofa, a coffee table, and an end table. Moving those items just four miles took them 6.75 hours, which is what I was billed for. After the first hour and a half, they had only taken apart the bed and moved the mattress downstairs. I asked why it was taking so long because it honestly felt like they were dragging their feet. Had I known they weren't actually firefighters, I never would have hired them. I chose this company because my neighbor had used them a few months earlier. I watched that move, and they were in and out very quickly. She also told me nothing was damaged, which gave me confidence in hiring them. Although I was frustrated with how long the move took, I still tipped them 10% using my credit card. I was then surprised to learn there was a 4% credit card processing fee. Since Square charges businesses 2.6% plus 10 cents per transaction, I felt that passing along a 4% fee was excessive, so I deducted that amount from the tip. They used Square to process my transaction. As a small business owner in Scottsdale, I understand the cost of processing credit cards. While I would not use this service again. I was also disappointed that the company's name implied the movers were firefighters when they were not. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. I was charged two hours of travel time coming and going to my place when they were getting ready to leave I googled travel time back to surprise and it said 43 minutes I was billed for an hour when I said something he said that they were going past Surprise to the yard that they had to return the truck too. Response to the owners reply The bed has hex screws holding it together, so the only reason it would be difficult to take apart is if you didn't have the proper tools. The fact that you wish you could provide bulky, glistening calendar movers has absolutely nothing to do with anything I wrote in my review or with the efficiency of the movers. I want to be a billionaire, but that doesn't mean I'm going to become one. Likewise, using a name that gives people the impression they are supporting local firefighters is misleading.
