If you are more than 30 days late they charge you additional $200 for "auction fees" that's before the. legal 60 day auction lien fee when your payment is legally in default not to mention they increase at their discretion an additional 40% and charge you for an additional protection fee . I never received my 30 day notice of price increase and they BAMBOOZLED me. This is my personal experience. luckily I have proof and documentation of it all.

They have given Public Storage over $100,000!! Yet, when they pass, even with a trust, they wouldn't give me access to to the unit. Have to wait 40 days after death. That's understandable. But they want me to pay for the whole month. Not even prorated. It's frustrating already having to deal with grief and funeral expenses and a company not showing compassion. Especially when they've made so much money off my family. Also, when I first called, it seemed like as long as I cleared out the unit by the end of September, I would be fine and not have to pay for October. So I rushed to get their form signed and notarized. And later to find out I wasted my time and money. I don't give bad reviews. You can see all my reviews are positive ones. Think before you get a unit here. There is no humanity. If you die, your loved ones are out of luck and will owe money. One week later, I received an email saying, "Vehicles stored in your parking space are in violation of one or more of the stated terms and conditions of the Addendum to Rental Agreement for Parking Spaces that states: I agree to keep the vehicle in [...] "roadworthy" condition." I found this email to be an insult to injury. The area is not safe and the staff is completely unhelpful.
