Our school for autistic children just had its rent increased by than 2x after only just moving our teaching equipment a few months ago. Stay away from storquest. Karma is coming for them. Recalled the facility and they agreed that it was unreasonable but had to give us some number to their corporate office. Really disgusting. I am JM. I have rented a unit in StorQuest for a little over a month now and in that time my life has been exponentially spiraling downhill. But let me rewind for a timeline. The first day I get there the lady's upfront were cheerful and polite as they welcomed my girl and I. They seemed a bit too energetic you could say about giving a review for the place, but I sell on eBay so I know reviews matter. At least that's why I thought they wanted that then.. I waited till now to give a review because I can't review somebody after only a day or two of seeing your operations I'd like to disclose everything. After a few days I got my first red flag when I'd been organizing my stuff, and I have a lot of stuff, and they came over and told me that I could only be at the storage, which I pay for, for only an hour or so a day. That is a major blow to everything that I do with the storage. It is worthless to me if this is the case. Sometimes it takes longer than that just to find something that I'm selling on eBay in that amount of time. I find out that there is no time limit you can be in storage. There's nothing written in the rules that says you can't stay in there longer than X amount of time. Basically the property manager dictates how he feels on the subject and then that can be taken as a guideline I guess you could say. I use my storage to store stuff of course. I also use my storage as kind of a little workshop for fixing things and getting them ready to be shipped as well as packing things up and I also help other people as well if they need it keeping their stuff in there sometimes temporarily. So at this time I'm having second thoughts about the storage already because if I were to have to follow some stupid guideline about being in storage maximum hour or two a day then I might as well just go and find another one but the problem with that is moving all of the stuff took a lot of time and resources. So a few days after the manager told me this I had a friend over that needed to borrow a tool. I didn't borrow the tool and afterwards he went downstairs to smoke a cigarette outside the gate and he had propped the door open so he can get back in without me and I guess that wasn't okay. He had also struck up a conversation with a few of the ladies that work there about these weed vape cartridges that he was selling because he saw them in the back smoking weed (on the clock).. so he had come back a few minutes later and gave them a free sample of what he was selling and immediately afterwards the manager came up to visit me with an eviction notice because my friend had given his workers the cartridges and for propping the doors open they were kicking me out. This is devastating I had just moved all of my stuff in there not even a week ago and I was already kicked out because of something I didn't even do. I get that he's my responsibility because I brought him there but why would they kick me out?? I just moved there and they're already kicking me out. I didn't even get a warning or anything for any of this not to mention his co-workers were smoking weed on the clock and I'm the one that gets in trouble. They were giving me 72 hours to move my stuff somewhere else which in my mind is impossible because of how long it took to even move all the stuff over there in the first place with all the resources and time and money.. so I couldn't I was not able to so I came back the day after the 72 hours was up and I told him I couldn't do it because it's impossible for me to do it I can't find help and I can't find the time to do this or a truck at the time either. So when I came back it appeared that the lift was broken as well the elevator was not working to bring all of my stuff downstairs so I can even move it so they had given me a little bit more time until the elevator was fixed so I can move my stuff. The elevator was taking a while to get fixed. I had talked to the ladies about this and they said eventually that they have no idea when the elevator is going to be fixed and that it might be quite a while in fact. Because of this they had given me a free extra month to get my affairs in order and systematically take all of my stuff and move it out because it is a lot of work to take all of what I have, even with an elevator, and move it all out. But I feel comfortable with an extra month because that's doable. So a few days later I was in my storage going through stuff because I figured I would just throw a bunch of the stuff away because I can downsize and I think I might need to downsize actually, when the ladies came up to my storage and told me that I had until the next week to move all of my stuff out and that they were going to try to hire somebody I don't know to come in and help me as well. Which I am 100% not going to be comfortable with because I don't know this person, I don't want them in my storage. Six years ago I rented a storage unit here and paid for it for several years on time every month. Eventually I was able to move my belongings to the garage at my mothers house and came in on a prearranged date for move out. At that time I found multiple destroyed items due to a month and rat infestation inside my unit. As the storage facility does not have any trash receptacles at all, and I was not willing to take contaminated urine soaked belongings into my moving truck, I left the contaminated destroyed items at the storage facility with a note explaining why I was not able to dispose of them. I did not sue them for the destruction of my belongings which was 100% their responsibility. 5 years later I find out that they have put an outstanding charge of $600 to a collection agency that is affecting my credit and if I want it off I need to give them $1200 with the collection fees. I have never been sent any information as to where they got this number or how they got this $1200 number. My total monthly payment at the facility was $150 a month, so they are trying to charge me for four months after I had turned in my lock and officially returned the storage unit. This is fraud. Do not do business with this company because they will fraudulently charge you, then said that charge to a collection agency, and destroy your credit for seven years after destroying your belongings. I lost precious childhood memories because they were covered in rat feces. I lost fabric my grandmother had brought back from Scotland because they had a moth infestation inside my unit. I had an allergic attack, from the spores, during my clean out of the unit that made me sick for over a week due to the conditions of my belongings. This company will defraud you. No matter what you do do not do business with the storage company it is not worth it. Their facilities are not clean and they will charge you for the destruction of your own belongings. read more

I've been a customer for some time now and I must say that the service level and friendliness of the staff is top notch. They even have a post office inside and you can deliver packages from this site. The place is clean and the security and the convenience of using the available flat beds for moving has never been a problem for me. The only thing I have a slight problem with is the light timers.(they turn off too soon and I constantly have to walk out of my unit to reactivate the lights; but all in all this place is SUPERB. This is an update to a review I wrote when I got the locker. During the term they have increased the price and at the end refused to give credit for the remaining days (I vacated the unit 3 days after the monthly renewal) So basically they can rent the locker again and "double dip" as that locker is paid for to the end of the month.....thats bad business practice, despite the nice facility. read more

Clean, well maintained, well lit facility. They have a manned front office on the premises with helpful, professional staff. Large building with 4 floors, lots of units. It's the closest storage facility to USC that we could find. At the modern front office they sell various moving boxes and supplies. I don't think they're the lowest rate place, but safety, location, and look of the place led us to rent there. A pleasant surprise actually. To rent a space there, you'll also have to buy one of their cylinder locks for $13.99. read more

Terrible. The place is really unkempt. Who is really giving them more than one star?! It's an inside job. The customer service is awful and once they sign you up for a lease they have excuses for everything! I seen a roach and they have rat traps. GROSS! The smell on level 2 was PUTRID!!! I wish I had gone to visit this place before handing over my money, but I was in a rush. Do yourself a favor and definitely find a different storage with a cleaner facility and better customer service. read more
