Better read your lease agreement... you sign away all your rights to everything including their lack of security,very few low resolution cameras are placed covering all lanes of traffic and your storage unit can be broken into with no trace of who the bad guys were! If you move out early and have paid for the entire month in advance you get no prorated refund, unless you know ahead of time, so no last minute move outs. We were there many years and all that happened were the prices were raised, and we were broken into. read more

We checked Yelp for storage places near our home and this was at the top of the list. I entered info online and was called a few minutes later. Price sounded good so I said I'd be there in a few days to start. The day before I called to reserve a moving truck and was told fine. We arrived on time and was told we're lucky the guy who reserved the truck didn't want it, so we could have it. So, that was a minor ding. We were also told the quoted price doesn't include mandatory insurance of (in our case) an extra $13 per month. Ding #2. On the positive side, Andres the onsite manager is pleasant, quick, and seems to know his stuff. The truck rental for a few hours was included...which saved having to get one from UHaul. The facility seems clean and very suitable for our needs. So far so good. read more

Worst storage experience ever. I had a unit for a year and a half. I was moving out everything but a sofa. I needed a smaller unit for it. I went in 2 days early to handle this because I only had the movers that one morning. The man said he couldn't do it that day but would be in early Friday morning to take care of everything. Knowing I couldn't move the sectional alone and had a time restraint. He lied!!!! He wasn't even working that morning and had told no one about my situation. I was forced to have to continue paying for a large unit. My belongings were pretty much destroyed. Covered in dust and cobwebs and water damage!!!! Even the movers were shocked by their condition. I could have left everything outside and saved a lot of money. Never use this storage facility. read more

This place had some good and some not so good attributes. The good: Walked in to open a unit and was offered a great deal, cheaper than what I expected. The indoor units are not climate controlled but the buildings are very well insulated. Meaning that it doesn't get super hot or cold in the units ever. Not quite the same as climate controlled but nice. Especially in the summer. You can pay your bill online. The website is sort of weird but once you figure it out it does the job. The not so good: That great offer I was given... When I went back they said "that guy got fired" and wouldn't honor it. Not cool. I had already moved my stuff in so I decided to stay. Disappointing nonetheless. The driveway setup is retarded. The box to key in is on the left so they expect you to drive in and out on the wrong side of the road in their driveway. (If you look at the arrows on the ground they are opposite to a normal business driveway) Bad design and gets stupid sometimes when people are pulling in and out at the same time. The people who run the place are rarely in the office. Good luck getting a hold of them or catching them actually in the office if you need something. I was in and out every day for a couple weeks and needed something and never caught them. A lot of times their car is there and they are home but not in the office. I rang the bell a few times and no one ever responded. Annoying. Expensive. Unless the prices have changed since I moved out it's pretty pricey. I have since found a much better deal. I reserved a space online for the discount. The size unit I wanted was unavailable so I was given a different sized unit for same discounted price by Christina and by Andres. This is the best Extra Space Storage company I have used. This is my 4th time using this company but this location has the best customer service. I also bought my packing boxes plus lock, bubble wrap and packing tape here at discounted prices. All other storage companies in this area do not compare. We also got to use the 14 foot truck to move locally for free. I highly recommend this location. read more

Andre is the absolute best ever when it comes to customer service and making sure you're happy. I went there one day to check on my stuff and thought the lock had been changed and that I couldn't get to my stuff. Even after yelling at him and acting like an idiot, he stayed calm and never got ruffled or retaliated. He's the best and we will definitely use them again if we ever need to. read more

They really offer more than just excellent customer service. The employees here are genuinely good people that are honest and will do there best to help you out when you have to face one of the most stressful times in your life, when it's time to pack up and move... I had a a bad few weeks filled with the worst luck and on top of that I had nightmare Roomate and needed to get out of my apartment ASAP. So I hired movers and got a storage unit. The manager there helped me find the best deal for the right amount of size I needed. I had gone in just wanting the basic deal I had seen online but she even found a better deal for me that saved me $170 and I got my first month free! She could have just let me have my online deal and let me pay all that extra money and not said anything which is what most people do. But here they'll help you get the best deal possible and the right sized and affordable unit for you. After that I just had to just move in. So long story short we s owed up after office hours and because I hadn't put a key on they unit first they locked it up for me when I closed so when the movers got there they couldn't put my stuff inside. I finally had got to the unit but it was after closing and was able to get through to a 24 hour helpline which was soooo nice to be able to talk to a live person even after they were closed. They called the manager for me and couldn't get ahold of her so they called the assistant manager I believe named Gavin and he had already gone home for the day and was with his wife not too far away and they drove all the way back here just to unlock the lock for me. And well my movers on the other hand didn't want to wait because they had another job and they unpacked my stuff and just left it there for me to move in all by myself. And I was tired and had just spent the whole day completely packing up and loading it up which I had just started packing that day so the last thing I wasn't to do was move that in by myself. So Gavin and his poor wife having to drive all the way back to his work when I think they were on there way to dinner pulled up and unlocked the unit for me and even offered to help me put the stuff in the unit. I said not to worry about it I didn't want to inconvenience them any more than I already had but he could tell I could use the help so he insisted which I was very thankful for because I really needed the help. And we were able to get everything in in about a couple of minutes which would have taken me at least an hour or two and it was starting to get dark when we started so I wouldn't have been able to see anything. And not only did he put the stuff in the unit he packed in there perfectly and conveniently and even left a little walkway for me to be able to get in there to grab stuff! It was the kindest thing that had happened to me in days. And after two weeks of what felt like the worst luck ever it gave me a little hope that maybe my bad luck had run out. It was really what I needed at a time when I felt so defeated and it meant more to me than Gavin and his wife could have possibly known. So for that I'm truly grateful and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a storage place with over the top customer service experience. You really won't regret it! read more

I'd like to give a good review but I have a couple issues I feel could be avoided. I'm currently starting my second month with a unit. First off, it's totally awesome they have a small moving truck available to use during your first 30 days BUT their policy and hours to use it are horrible. If someone rents it for the day and doesn't end up using it, all that happens is that person screwed over anyone else wanting to use it that day since you don't pay any sort of deposit until you come to take it. I think they could come up with a better system. The day I wanted to use it, it was sitting there the entire day since the person who reserved it never showed and didn't cancel. My second issue is currently happening. I came to my unit after not coming by for a few weeks. When I attempted to open the roll door, it was very difficult to open. I got it about a quarter of the way up, enough to where I could duck under and look inside. None of my stuff was in the way. I noticed the door didn't open evenly. I called the office and was told by Marcel that he needed to wrap some things up in the office and to give him 10 minutes. I reminded him it's hot and I needed to get going. It was over 30 min and I still hadn't seen or heard from him. I tried closing the door just so I could deal with it another time, but I couldn't even do that. Finally, after calling a second time he showed up about 5 minutes later. He had issues with the door as well and ended giving me the option of having maintenance coming to fix it or me moving to another unit and they would waive the transfer fees (as they should since this isn't my fault). Either way, this is an issue I'm going to have to deal with that wastes my time. To be continued... read more

Great storage facility but HIGHLY DISHONEST COMPANY!! They stole ~$165 dollars from me. In 2012 I had two storage units and verbally informed them that I was moving out, 30 days in advance. They said no problem, I would be pro-rated and insisted that everything was good. All verbally of course. Once I was out they told me it had to be in writing and that I should have read the fine print closer. The problem was that I was paid current for the whole month and they couldn't "reimburse" me. Instead I should NOT have paid the last month's rent up front, they would have pro-rated it, and I would have made a partial payment. It all came down to "their" definition of "pro-rating" ... and, yes, it WAS in the fine print. I pleaded with the manager and he said that he would contact HQ and get me at least $35 dollars back. I never saw a dime from them and know I never will. I was in the middle of a nasty divorce and didn't have the emotional energy to fight them also, so I let it go. Their facility is nice, their scruples are criminal. They took money from me, they were not entitled to, without blinking an eye. So if you are a lawyer that reads every line of the fine print, and can remember all the fine details for the length of your lease, then this is the place for you. If you are like the rest of us that takes people at their word, well, you best avoid this place like the plague! Now I know how the fly in the Venus Fly-trap feels. Buyer beware!! read more
