I've never had any problems, except at some point I was asked to pay like 37 or something instead of the 25 I was accustomed to apparently for insurance. Well I had been told before that I only needed to pay for insurance on the day I moved myself in, so I was pissed. The employee didn't know what to tell me and I was getting frustrated but luckily the manager was very nice and a good listener and agreed to drop the insurance fee and have me only be charged 25, so it was all good. Be careful of this place! They will increase your rent multiple times a year. We started at under 200/mo. In December of 2025 they raised it from 390/mo to 445. Then July of 2026 they raised it to 538!!!! That is a 38% increase in 6 months! I will never use public storage. And especially the money hungry facility on Sunrise! read more

The David R and Zakayla N are both incredibly incorrect. I was there and witnessed some guy with a key mind you getting into the unit and removing items. Must of been a friend or brother. Then seen this rude and disrespectful man yelling at her a couple times. She is rough around the edges but I tell you what she will go to great lengths to try and protect your belongings. She is a good person just don't go against the policy. Think about it wouldn't you want someone strict for the rules over seeing your space. I certainly would. read more

Staff does not communicate I made arrangements to have the balance paid before the end of the month because I got a new job and don't get paid till the 28th. They called and said no my unit would be auctioned on the 22nd. The girl was rude and her attitude was gross and told me I never talked to anyone. She is a joke and so is this establishment. My unit was recently burglarized without signs of forced entry. I hadn't been to my storage from the beginning of October 2024, until the day after Christmas 2024. Going into my unit I noticed things were off, starting with the placement of my lock. Once inside my unit I realized a lot of things were missing, $6,000 worth of things missing. Unfortunately, for my unit there's only a security camera for one door and not the other. Whoever broke into my unit, clearly took their time and wasn't worried about being caught. They took the time to go through my things, and pick out what they wanted and didn't want. I know that this isn't the first time this has happened at this storage facility. Due to my job and the time of day, I just moved my things to a different unit. Hopefully once I'm ready to completely change storage facilities, I'll still have some things left. I am going to file all of the necessary reports. It's sad to feel violated thinking your things are in a safe and secure place. read more

Familiar with the term bait and switch? Absolutely unbelievable treatment. If you do business with them then read your contract closely. Especially the part that they can do whatever they want. Because they will, despite assurances from their pleasant professional staff. Absolutely lied to me about rate increases. Within 6 months they had jacked my rates by 30%! I have tried for two months to get them to lighten up a little bit given their employee had so blatantly lied to me. I have registered a complaint with the BBB as well. They absolutely refuse to even talk to me about it. They told the BBB that I could move into a different space and maybe save a little that way. read more

by far the best storage facility i have rented space, well maintained, great access hours 6:00AM to 9:00PM. The staff is friendly and always there ti help and take pride in their job. This is a large facility and my unit was all the ti the back of the property and it was hard for me to walk to access my unit, when I went to put a few things in storage today, the relief manager Kristin said that there was a unit closer ti the entrance available and took a few minutes to do the paperwork to transfer to the new unit and I was given a couple days to get everything moved, which i needed the time since it is getting warmer so I can cam time to get things moved. read more

This is the place to take your things that you don't want anymore, for your stuff will surely be stolen. Our unit was broken into twice before we were able to get our whatever we had left in there. Collections I've had for 40 years, the rototiller, my kiln, table saw, so many things gone. The thieves has a truck, and no fear of discovery they really went thru all of our belongings. There had to be at least 2, and with a hand truck to get some of those things out of there. Management has zero fucks to spare, and they won't tell you that not every aisle has cameras, and that Masterlocks are easily broken into. Now you know, store your things somewhere safe or sell them, don't let your stuff drive away in a truck like mine did. read more

Be careful!!!! The manager on-site is a liar. She talked us into a larger unit for a price that was not much more than what we reserved. When I saw my auto payments, the price went way up- so I called. The lady gave us the run-around and lied about the price. Make sure to get everything in writing! If you want all of your stuff stolen, with no attempt to make it right, this is the place to keep it. Overpriced, not remotely secure, our stuff was stolen, and before we could get the rest of it out the thieves had come back for more. This is big stuff, heavy stuff, whoever did it brought a truck and apparently our unit was in a row without cameras. Was that mentioned before we moved our belongings in? No, no it wasn't. Also, apparently MasterLock only has a certain number of keys, so they're easy to break into. Whoever took our things wasn't in a hurry, and had no fear of being caught bc they left empty spots, and really combed thru everything. Don't rent from this shady place, I wish I hadn't. read more

I had reserved a unit in advance to move in on 8/3. I decided prior to moving in on 8/2 that we needed a bigger unit. I spoke with property manager Leah? She stated no problem they would apply my payment to next unit. I then noticed I was charged for both units. I spoke with Leah again and she stated she would refund the first unit since I cancelled prior to move in date. Now she is refusing to refund and their worthless district manager Marcus refuses to return a phone call. They are nothing but liars and thieves. I will dispute the charge and will get my money back. I called 01/14 and reserved an 8x10 unit till 01/15. I got a call from the manager 01/14 with a nice message asking when I'll be in so a manager can be there. I called back to make sure I was not getting billed yet as I had not made up my mind. I was toad they reserve units for everyone as good customer service. I finally decided I wanted the unit; as I was making up my mind I got a call but did not answer it. After my mind was made up to rent the unit, I listened to the voicemail. I call the person back because it was the storage place again; I stated please print the documents I'll be right there ( 15 min). I get there and I'm told the unit is not available they did not know why. I was told they have a larger unit available at a location a few miles away. I let them know that I'm not driving that for for a unit. They offered me a smaller unit. I asked for a discount for my trouble; for not having the unit I have received several calls about. Nothing. Please avoid this place. Wast of time. There are so many place's around the area; avoid this one. read more

Fantastic- Im a returning customer of Public Storage and they've always had the space I needed, at the price I wanted. The toll free number I called was just high pressure sales - I WOULD NOT CALL THE TOLL FREE NUMBER AGAIN- one point off for that bad experience - they wouldn't honor the online prices, and said the online reservation wouldn't be honored even if i made it. The property manager (Marlo) did honor the online prices - saving me $250 a year. VERY happy with the local experience, but not at all with the national experience. I would recommend this Public Storage location to anyone. read more

Nice and clean. Someone tried to break in to my unit and broke a key in the lock. I had to pay to have them remove the lock then purchase another lock. My unit price has gone up and I was never notified of the price increase. Will be looking to move my things to another storage company. read more

There is a homeless guy living in the unit next to mine and all my stuff is infected with the largest cockroaches I have ever seen. I was in D58 and the guy lived in D59. I was there for under two months and the only offer to fix the problem was 2 weeks back for the time I would not be there. I just moved into new home and now need constant extermination. HORRIBLE!!! Everything about this place since we moved our things in has been terrible!!! Rates were not what we were told when we reserved our unit. The unit size we wanted wasnt even available even after being told it was being reserved for us. And monthly when we make our payment it is processing so long through them that our bank will actually kick the payment back as a fraudulent payment. Totally ridiculous!!!! They have homeless people living in units and when I brought it to one of the workers attention she kinda laughed it off as if its not big deal. And he had pets and everything in this unit!! I couldn't believe it. The staff is terrible the manager is nice but gave me wrong information but the staff totally act as though you calling or coming in is bothering them!!! read more

This is by far the most secure site in all of the Sacramento Valley. They are a professional company, with managers on top of managers. I do not trust the mom and pop places. There is no one to ensure that your belongings are not tampered with, or looted. Units are clean. read more
