During the move, their crew wrapped and transported my 55-inch Samsung television, which was fully functional prior to the move. After unwrapping and powering it on at my new residence, I discovered severe panel damage, including cracking and vertical line distortion, ruining the TV. We observed the crew drop a plastic box containing personal belongings and drop our mattress, demonstrating careless handling practices. I booked the Basic Move option and was informed verbally that damage claims are considered on a case-by-case basis. Despite this, my claim for replacement value was formally denied, citing lack of a specialty TV box and basic coverage. Attached are photos of the damaged television. Its the lack of the speed of putting things up and making lots of small talk, adding up time. Im not made of money and paying 400$ because your movers wanna spend 30+ mins talking in between furniture and somehow get lost and take longer to get to the destination. Its unacceptable. Your movers need to be more efficient in speed, also how they carry stuff cause i now have to pay damages to my apartment that had nothing in it, let alone in the way for them. Its two of them, team work, no other excuse. Lastly, i understand getting lost on the road and driving cautiously to the place is a 5/5 but taking 20 min to get there when its 10 mins away is odd.

The first mover I booked completely ghosted me. He didn't return my calls or texts. In panic mode, I relied on a friend, which was a mistake. I had wanted movers to alleviate it from my conscience. Long story short, I got no sleep that night and was even more frustrated. Then I scheduled another moving company the following morning. This one I left a 1 star review and you can read that one in my Review History. Do you realize how awful it feels to have Plans A-C fail completely?! I had two nervous breakdowns and I fainted from lack of sleep and food. A friend of mine referred me to Magnum Movers and they were able to fit me in IMMEDIATELY. They were the NICEST and most careful men! And super friendly and courteous, always wearing their masks. They did everything I directed them to, and did amazing work moving the remaining 50% of my 1bed1ba to my new 1bed1ba. The price was also excellent for the quality. Magnum Movers restored my faith in moving companies and I am so happy they were able to help me during this emotionally and physically exhausting time. This was the simple moving situation I had always hoped for and while I'm sad I didn't book with them for my Plan A, you bet I will be going to them first moving forward.
