Since you're unwilling to adjudicate this matter? STOLEN ITEM(S) -- DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY Save yourself the stress and frustration! DO NOT hire Two Men and a Truck for your move. You're far better off hiring family members or paying extra for a company that values integrity and accountability. During my move with Two Men and a Truck on November 1st( 7634 Reindeer Trail San Antonio, TX 78238), one of my personal items went missing while in their care..a pair of Gucci Platform Slides valued at $800. The item didn't just "go missing", it was taken. There is video footage of the incident, clearly showing the last person who handled the item and sketchy behavior. K.L( initials of the individual) was seen in the footage going into the truck, coming out of the truck and closing one of the doors, going back in the truck for 6 MINUTES, you can then see him rummaging through one of my shoe totes, after 6 minutes he comes out and opens the truck door back up. What was also weird was the totes were not wrapped up in any way in the footage, but when I was unpacking, one of the 2 totes were wrapped up in tape. It doesn't make sense for them to wrap items after they already moved to the new location, especially just one of them. For privacy reasons, I am withholding the footage AND full names of the individual(s) for now, but I will not hesitate to share it publicly if this continues to be ignored. Management, specifically Damien and Joe, provided me with the full names of the moving crew involved in my move. They even acknowledged that the video footage was sketchy and claimed that they suspended the individual. This information has been included in the official police report I filed. Despite this, Damien has made no real effort to resolve the situation. Every time I call, I'm told he has "stepped out of the office," and my attempts to reach him go unanswered. They apparently can't do anything about it since they don't have footage on their end on him taking them( which doesn't make sense for them to suspend the guy if they have nothing on him.. unless I'm being lied to). This is theft, plain and simple. I have taken all the proper steps. I've filed a police report, gathered evidence, and notified management. Yet I've received no accountability, resolution, or compensation. Each individual working ( 5 guys) were tipped $100 each on top of the hefty payment, I do not appreciate your employee going through my personal belongings and taking things as they please. I haven't been able to sleep at night because I live with the fear that they may have taken other things. Until this company takes responsibility and makes this right, I will continue to pursue this matter through every available channel. Consumers deserve to be warned. read more

Extremely disappointed in this service. I had Rasheem and Christian come to my house to help pack a loading truck. We got a 26' truck and they barely left any room despite having TONS of empty space. The movers took a LONG time to move everything, one was on the phone almost the whole time. The second took almost an hour to wrap the couch in plastic. Considering you pay by the hour this seems to be a money grab. The guys then told us that not everything was going to fit towards the end. We told them that this wasn't an option. If it was packed to maximize space it would have fit easily. They left trash all around my house, and materials. They took a LOT longer than was quoted, I didn't get a receipt till 2 hours later. Update - Once we got to our destination many of the items were damaged due to how it was packed and the trip. We called and we told that because it was OUR truck they will not cover and of the damage done by the horrible job of these crooks. DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

I was happy with the team that showed up, but extremely disappointed in quoting process. I was quoted 6.5 hours for 3 men to move a 10x20 storage unit. Even after I corrected the size of the unit to a 10x30 and that items would be going upstairs, I was told that they may not be able to fit everything in. We emptied half of our storage unit to save on cost, and they still sent out extra men after I emailed that they were not needed. At the end of the this, I paid 3 men 4.25 hours to move a 10x10 unit. On the phone call, I had been told I would only be paying for the time they were touching items, but come to find out I also paid them the drive time to the storage unit. Why was drive time not broken out in the quote for me to review, especially if they say that is the one factor that can affect price? read more

I used two men and a truck based out of San Antonio to move my items out of my apartment. I got to my destination and plugged my tv in today to see this. Things were also found outside of the box they were supposed to be in and one box was loaded in completely upside down and had no tape on it. My movers loaded in my tv last, and kept the feet on. All they did was put a bed blanket over it. In the top corner, is the point of impact. This suggests the screen was pointing in, towards the middle of the truck and another object was left loose and hit the screen. They won't replace it because I signed a waiver saying everything was loaded in with out damages. I really couldn't say whether everything was being loaded in with or without damages, as I was inside my apartment. I assumed the two men and a truck team knew how to load a large tv. I provided moving blankets, ratchet straps, rubber bungee cords and a plenty big truck. I paid an awful lot of money for careless mistakes. read more

The packers on the first day were more like 1 star. The weren't very friendly and it was tough to tell who was in charge except that it obviously wasn't the guy who spent most of his time at the truck on his phone. The crew left after 5 hours and not all of the packing done. The movers on the second day were friendly and courteous. I had high hopes but unfortunately after the move it became evident how shoddy the work was. Only about 20% of the boxes were labeled and consequently were placed just anywhere in the new place even when it was obvious that kitchen stuff didn't belong in the bedroom. The wardrobe boxes were treated as just larger packing boxes and filled with about anything. None of the hanging clothes were hung up at all for transport. We've been in the new place 6 days and still can't find things that are fairly essential, like the silverware. There are things at the old place that are waiting to be moved. For small, simple moves that the crew wants to do, this business it's probably fine. For us as a larger, more involved move, it SHOULD HAVE BEEN MUCH BETTER. read more

These people run a bate and switch operations. They ask you to tell them what you are moving and if you have any stop, supposedly giving you a bid based on that telling you one price and requiring a deposit. Than they tell their movers you have less items to move and no extra stops. The movers arrived little late and as we show them what we had they tell us it's not on their list and it will cost more, we ask about the other stop we had a piano in a rent shed they tell us the stop is not on list but the piano is! Charge for third mover but didn't tell them about stop. Starting to sound funny yet does to me so now we have wasted 45min of my time and haven't moved anything , call their office to see what is going on, office tells them if we still want to move we will have to pay for all the extras and the extra stop. I also ask about riding mower they ask if all the gas's is out of it if not they can't move it. The office did not tell me that I needed to remove the gas. If they did I would have.(and again I told them about it) I can't move it by myself I had cancer last year unable to lift or move something that big or heavy! called the office to get my deposit back they said they wouldn't refund me because they were still willing to move us but at a higher price. If they find anything on the record phone call they would possibly refund me the deposit. Never called me back. Don't use them is all I can say you won't be happy with the price or service! read more

Honestly appalled at the service we were provided. My mom hired them to move me from a one bedroom apartment to a 2 bedroom in the same complex. She was told it would take 2-3 hours maximum. Told they would arrive at 8, didn't arrive until a little after 9. They were careless with my things. Crushing boxes clearly marked fragile, and banging around furniture against the wall. The 2-3 hour moved turned into almost 6 hours. They didn't even get all of the items from my previous apartment. They kind of seemed tired and uninterested in finishing the job and kept mentioning how they had somewhere else to be. When unloading the truck, I witnessed one of the men literally shake boxes off a dolly onto the ground. Not a single concern for what might be inside. Then they left.... My mom and I decided to take things up with the company, and we received a mixed reaction. One person seemed accommodating and concerned about our experience, another made it seem like the experience was normal. All she was looking for was to be charged the expected price of $300-400, instead of $590. She was repeatedly apologized to and was even told she would be receiving a refund. After waiting weeks to actually get said refund, it was a measly $70. What a joke. Absolutely awful experience all the way down to customer service. And we feel scammed. My mother is hurt as she was trying to help me out with my move and only got taken advantage of and stolen from. read more

We used then for a cross country move from San Antonio to NJ. It took 3 guys, 7.5 hours to load our household of furniture into a 26 ft Penske truck. I had already packed most of it. They had estimated that it was going to take a bigger truck and we had ordered two 24 foot trucks, but Penske didn't have that, but only had a 24 and 26 foot truck that morning. They got it all into a single 26 ft truck and saved us like $1800+ fuel as a result! Upon unloading, there were a few items that were scratched and dinged, because I actually have real FURNITURE, which might not have happened if we had been going less distance or hadn't needed to squash it all in there... but considering everything, I would definitely hire them again! read more

The moving team was acceptable but for the amount of house, there should not have been 2 men, previous moves were 4 men. I would say that the movers did their best. Unable to retrieve all the screws for household goods is a bit disappointing and the administration did not set them up for success. The administration did not confirm my reservation in the system but with me and caused my moving plans to be moved a day later which made the move more complicated and stressful. I used this company two other times and this last move was the absolutely was the worse and last. Chris Peterson was very unprofessional and was unclear on my account and did not update my information. I have a great deal of experience with moving, including two cross country moves in three years. My experience with Two Men and a Truck was, by far, the worst of the bunch. I know they're a big nationwide corporate conglomerate and only as good as the guys they send out for your move, but I wouldn't trust them to move my garbage after my experience. First of all, we were supposed to have three guys for packing. They showed up with two and kept promising the third would be right there, but the last guy didn't show for several hours, which really messed up our moving schedule. That was small potatoes, though, compared to the lousy packing and moving. They knew we were packing for a cross-country move, yet they shoved stuff in boxes like they were moving us three blocks. Things were crammed into boxes, boxes were taped open on top rather than closed, and the whole thing was totally amateurish. "Movers who care" my a$$. I don't own many expensive things, and they managed to damage two of the three most pricey things I own. I have an Eames reproduction chair that was a gift from a friend and cost $800, and the idiot movers from Two Men and a Truck put a plant in a ceramic pot on top of it when loading things into the truck, leaving it scratched. (What sort of idiot puts a put on top of wood furniture in the back of a truck--I'd think a first-time mover would know better than that.) They also packed art glass shades from an unusual lamp I own, and two of three shades were destroyed. I have no idea if I can replace them, and if I can, I am sure it will cost hundreds of dollars. Every stupid cheapo glass from Target survived the move, but the most precious things I owned were damaged. What's especially galling is that these items survived two cross country moves of over 1,000 miles, but the novices from Two Men and a Truck managed to ruin things in a single pack and small ten-mile move. I would highly recommend avoiding this moving company. Perhaps you'll get their "A" crew, but I felt like I got three guys they hired off the street with no training. This was a second time I conducted business with this company (first on June 4, 2020 and second time on June 18, 2020). The first time was seamless and I was extremely satisfied with a charge of $240 for their 1.25 hours of service to move my items into a storage unit. The second time, I asked for the same service, for the same items to be moved from the storage facility to my home of residence. The team started to work on moving my items at 1315 hours. I noticed the individuals weren't as proactive as the first crew. They also took much longer in loading the truck and weren't as expeditious as the first crew. It took them longer than it should've and only 2/3 of my items were loaded in close to 2 hours of time. When they arrived to my residence to have the items unloaded, my wife and I had to help move the items from the road to the garage to help cut down the time as they weren't proficient. After this was completed, they charged me for 4 hours when it should've been a lot less. They also made a mistake in their calculations and overcharged me (4x110=440 and I was charged 542.50). After my official complaint with their customer service rep, she listened to me and said she will notify them of this and call me back. I contacted her at around 0815 and she called me back around 0950 and explained how they will reimburse me 82.50 for their overcharge. I explained to the customer service rep that this is not enough as I was being charged for 4 hours when the work should've been accomplished in half the time and my wife and I had to help them unload the truck which was being ignored by the company. Additionally I explained to the rep that my wife (who is currently nursing our 10-month old child) is experiencing back pains as a direct result of overexerting herself by moving items which should've been moved by the movers in the first place. The allotted time for this job was not to exceed 2 hours and yet I was charged for more than double that. read more

The guys were on time, friendly, professional, and fair. When we realized they had forgotten a chest at my apartment, they went back to get it "off the clock" so I wasn't charged for the extra time. They also took off appropriate time for breaks and charged me for only the time they worked. They worked consistently, and at a good pace. Even so, the move took twice as long as estimated, so my only tip would be to double the estimate they give you to get a more realistic idea of time and cost. I would assume that is good advice for all moving companies, though. Their office staff was great and checked in on me the day of the move, and the day after to make sure everything went well and I was satisfied. I am very unpleased that the manager I spoke with yesterday failed to resolve my issues in a productive manner. Nothing at all was done for me as a customer besides being told that the crew that moved my furniture were told to stop move if they are actively bleeding. But there is still a blood stain on my mattress! There was also blood on my bed frame! He did not offer any compensation or help in cleaning up his employee's blood from my mattress. My wife is sick right now and we already have a dog that is injured. The last thing we need is to become even more ill because of the employee's blood. We do not know if he carries anything that could harm us. This is a serious health issue and the manager did nothing to ensure my safety nor my family's safety. Neither did he say or offer any help in the matter of me telling him the crew dragged my bare mattress on the ground outside and that it has multiple stains on it now. This was a piss poor handling of the health risk concerns for my family and I. This is a big deal. We sleep on this mattress every single night. We have family sleep on it when they visit. We have pets that could've licked the blood on the bed frame before I found it! God forbid something is lingering on my mattress and bed frame that will get one of us sick. I will make sure to tell everyone and anyone about this incident and for them not to use your service because of the handling of this major health hazard. And I will post it up on as many sites as possible to make sure other families are aware that the management does not care for the health of his customers. read more

I had to handle the move long distance for my brother (a disabled vet) I found them to be courteous, responsive and they took initiative on how to get a couch from Sams delivered to my brother. I worked with Laura for the setup and Damon who handled the delivery. I called Him no less than 3x to verify info and he was very patient. I am a critic by nature .. but I am so thankful for the peace of mind they gave me that all would be handled as promised. And their price was competitively in range. read more

Hired Two Men and a Truck to save us time and hassle that was suppose to be an easier move for my family but this has turned out to be a nightmare and cost us more money and damages than it's worth. They were sloppy in appearance and took their sweet time just so they could get more money out us. They broke our 75 inch smart TV that is only 9 months old, scratched up multiple pieces of furniture, broke part of my daughters bed, and when placed a claim they refused to compensate us for their employees horrible work. They state their worker explained their policies to my husband but my husband knows better than to sign something that says "we accept liability for damages caused by movers". Lol who is that stupid. They were on time, respectful, and worked extremely quick to pack and get everything loaded onto their trucks. This was a terrible experience. The quote was absolutely not accurate at all. These guys were so unprofessional, they were having a social hour the entire move. I moved my 3 bedroom house with only 2 beds 30 minutes to new braunfels and it took these guys 9 hours. They broke one of my bedframes and did not fill out a damage report. They left my back door off the hinges, I had to chase them outside before they left to ask them to put the door back on! They didn't put any of the beds together and just threw everything everywhere in the new house. It was a disaster. I called the office to tell them about my concerns and they did nothing to make it right. I've had much better experiences with different movers. I had REALLY bad luckwith a moving company a year ago and was soooo nervous to find movers again. As ridiculous as this sounds.. I picked Two Men and A Truck because their boxes were featured in the movie Limitless. When he's about to jump off the balcony.. all the moving boxes behind him are Two men And A Truck.. (Genius marketing ploy). So I called, they were professional, reasonable rates so i booked them. The "Two men" were great, friendly, nice, quick and had all their teeth (you have no idea what ive seen in past moves). I will use them again and definitely recommend them! read more

Look elsewhere! We had everything pretty much packed and ready to move, besides the "big stuff". They took about 6 hours to move our stuff from one house to another about 5 miles away. They damaged so many of our things, and the walls in our brand new home! After signing a damage report, we were assured that a manager would be contacting us first thing on Monday. After a week of no phone call, we called to follow up and the person in the office had no idea that a manager was supposed to contact us. She took our information, and again assured us that a manager would call. It will be 2 weeks on Saturday, but I don't believe we will get a call by then. Broke my TV, scratched up a dresser, stained carpet, left their plastic wrap behind, left furniture covered in plastic wrap, didn't put boxes in room they were labeled, took forever, witnessed boxes fall off the truck and they told me it was no big deal. Movers are young, inexperience and will damage your stuff. Also, expensive for the service you get. A big scratch was put on a $4K dinette table to only get a hour credit. They did say they could fix it but it would be a 3 week wait. If you value your goods then I don't recommend, so look elsewhere! read more

Wish I would have read these reviews prior to choosing to utilize this company for an in-town move. Our brand new fridge was dinged and scuffed in the move. We didn't realize for a while since the fridge got dirty in the process of moving and it's hard to see until you shine it since it's stainless steel. Per their written policy, you are required to submit damage claims within 90 days. Per their e-mail response to my inquiry 39 days after the move (moving is a busy time and initially I was impressed by their 90 day policy) they stated my damage claim was "questionable" due to the time lapsed and that since the workers say the didn't damage it, they will not honor the claim. We signed a release of liability for the installation of the fridge (which is standard that they do not certify how they install items and is included in their written policy), but what they didn't include in writing is that they believe this also releases them from any other damage to it in the process of moving, not related to the install. They didn't include any information on having to also consider the memory of your workmen being involved in your claims within that 90 day policy, so I think my experience (and the many others left here) should be an important consideration for any other folks looking for movers. read more

The movers were late, and took 8hrs to move stuff out of a storage unit and into a 1 story house. No furniture was assembled, even though they we're supposed to. Most of my belongings were left in the garage and I had to help unload the truck. The movers ignored my request and damaged most of my furniture, as well as lost all the screws to my bed. Customer service was horrible and extremely unprofessional and told me "don't call here looking for sympathy". I was told that they would not discuss any of my damages less than 24hrs after my move was completed even thought the contract states I have 96hrs to report damages. The company attempted to charge me for hours they claim I should have originally been charged for, 2 days after my move was completed. Because they claim my hours were calculated incorrectly they are now refusing to repair my items unless I pay more money. At the end of my move the owner calculated my total over the phone with the movers, I paid the full $881, so it's odd once I try to file for damages, I magically have an unpaid balance that prevents them from being responsible for the horrible job they did. The owner has completely ignored my request for clarification on why I can't claim all damages and I don't trust the integrity of anyone working for this company. I have screenshots of how horrible the customer service manager treated me and will happily share them with anyone who is considering this company and would like to see how they treat their customers. They did a great job on our move. The guys were all very professional and courteous while doing their work. They also put in a very long day to get it all done at once. Our stuff was also treated with great care, and even though one item was damaged, they were extremely forthcoming about it and paid to have it replaced. I would definitely use them again. read more

I used this company to move a large home from San Antonio to Austin. Not only were the movers themselves less than personable, they destroyed $4500 worth of furniture (not to mention the damage they did to the walls at my old home). The two movers, Albert and Chris, were exceptional! From the start to the end, the guys were very customer focused! Hired Two Men and a Truck, NEVER AGAIN. The sloppy mover almost dropped my newly bought $1200 sofa getting off the truck. And then the careless mover dropped my sofa TWICE coming into the house. Now, my brand new sofa is broken. They charged a lot. I would be fine with that if they did a good job. But they didn't. So, basically I paid $1400 (move included) for a broken sofa. The moving experience was amazingly easy for my family and I. We had the movers for 9.5 hours and these two guys never stopped they were always moving doing stuff. They wrapped and took EXTREMELY good care of our junk. Your company should promote, recognize,or do something for Ruben Solize and Matthew Garza because these two guys represented TWO MEN AND A TRUCK with nothing but respect, speed and care!!!!!
