An employee named Blake Borders accused me of…read moreputting a stick in the gate one day and not punching in my access code in order to sneak in, which I never did. Also, an employee stole my lock one day to illegally make a copy of my key and on different occasions, stole my birth certificate, debit cards, and state ID's out of my unit. I later found out that I was being illegally recorded here (I'm not talking about the cameras they have all over the place to legally record everyone. I'm talking about I was individually illegally recorded at all times, even in the restroom, where there are no cameras.) I'm currently in the process of having the FBI and US Department of Justice investigate this place. I'd suggest you go elsewhere if you want to keep your belongings safe. Also, the front gate wouldn't work a couple times when I needed to access my unit in order to get my work clothes, which almost made me miss work.

The call center rep claims: "Hurry...Hurry...Hurry.... storage units are renting fast"....meanwhile the rep tries to slam me into a lawyered up contract agreeing to accept their "FREE insurance for 1 month ... but then requiring me to jump through hoops .. after I sign the contract....to get out. She warned me the computer was timing me out if I did not hurry and the storage locker would be gone if I did not agree to their terms and conditions....so I declined to rent storage. I don't need insurance for boxes containing papers. After getting all of my personal information, she notified Public Storage office on Watson Road that I had a reservation for storage. The lady that works in the office called me about my reservation. I informed her I had no reservation and asked who told me I had one, she said she did not know. Another tactic these big companies use to scam and deceive people. The right hand does not know what the left is doing. This is one of many big companies that uses manipulation, deceit and scare tactics coupled with lawyered up contracts. I recommend to STAY FAR AWAY from Public Storage. The rep also told me they can raise prices whenever they want. What a horrible way to do business. Public Storage has terrible reviews on the internet. That's KARMA! This is from another review and says it all: "Beware they make it very difficult to stop a rental when you are done with the space. There is nowhere on their app or webpage to stop rental and when you call they say they stopped it but continue to charge you. Very bad place to do business with". READ THE COMPLAINTS!!

The delivery was delayed which then I had to reschedule movers and everything regarding my move. I'm not sure if it could be helped or not. Once the pod was delivered, however, everything else was easy. It was expensive but exactly what I needed for my move.

Throughout the day, my delivery window continued to be pushed back. Around 4:00 p.m., near the end of the first delivery window, I called PODS and was assured that my container was the next stop on the driver's route. After waiting another two hours with no delivery and no update, I called back. This time, I spent more than an hour on the phone before finally reaching someone at the national call center. Only then was I informed that my POD would not be delivered because the driver decided to end their shift early. What is most frustrating is that PODS never contacted me to let me know the delivery would not happen. In fact, the online portal incorrectly showed that my POD had already been delivered. Had I not called, I would have had no idea what was happening. As a result of PODS' failure to communicate, I incurred multiple additional expenses and disruptions. I had to pay a fee to reschedule movers who were booked for Sunday, rearrange another moving appointment later in the week, coordinate with my tenant to extend use of her parking space for the container, and even change a flight to accommodate the delay, resulting in additional out-of-pocket costs. After all of this, PODS offered a credit of just $27.65. Delays can happen, and I understand that unforeseen circumstances arise. What is unacceptable is the complete lack of proactive communication and the amount of time I had to spend chasing down basic information. I wasted more than three hours on the phone that Saturday simply trying to find out where my container was and whether it would arrive. There are many companies offering similar moving and storage services. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage prospective customers to consider those alternatives. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have encountered, and PODS showed little interest in taking responsibility for the inconvenience and costs their failure created.

You may get older or dangerous tanks at the gas stations. Be sure to check the date stamped on the tank) 1) when you trade them out you only get 3 of the 4.5 gallons they hold. ( I proved this) plus the tank seldom uses the last half gallon due to lack of pressure. Meaning you use 2.5 gallons and pay for 4.5 when swopping them out. I filled 2 tanks for 31 bucks! If you're trade them out you spend twice as much for half as much. Btw service was great! Pay at the pump with the attendant.
