I visited several shops before visiting Extreme for as assessment. Alan and the crew are professional and "extremely" knowledgeable and talented. The other shops I visited/considered were too apprehensive about a completed redo of the exhaust system and/or unknowingly lacking the expertise to do the job correctly. Extreme is 45 miles from where I reside. It was well worth the logistics hurdle for me to have the work done here. I had four catalytic converters installed, an x-pipe, and completely replaced all the tubing. Major undertaking..... I've come to develop some knowledge of exhaust systems through my work developing an exhaust product over the past several years. Alan and team are more knowledgeable. I expect a long wait so I brought a book to read. The problem was fixed in 15 minutes and cost much less than I expected. Great work with even better service. It's rare these days to find a spot like this that really cares about their customers, vehicles, and pockets. Took my performance exhaust on my Audi S4 in the day after I called, they had me in and out in an hour. Exhaust was vibrating, rattling, and installed incorrectly by a different shop and Extreme Performance got me corrected insanely fast. On top of that, I still had a small rattle, so went back, and they further corrected it on site immediately for no extra charge.The value you get for the dollar spent is WELL worth it here. I went in with a failed emission test and thought I needed a new catalytic converter. Instead of just taking my money, the man working on shift was able to diagnose that my catalytic converter was fine. He advised me to put some octane boost in my tank and grab a new air filter from autozone down the street. He then quickly installed the air filter for me and cleared out the code on my check engine light, all at no cost to me. I was pretty impressed with Extreme Performance Mufflers. I dropped off my truck and spent a an hour at a nearby restaurant. Upon returning, I saw the truck was parked in front of the office, with the job already complete. Even though it was a prefabricated bolt-on Borla system that was getting installed, I thought the job would take at least 2 hours. Called several shops looking to get a previously purchased muffler on my truck and this shop was the nicest and most responsive on the phone. Went in and watched the whole thing get put on with quality welds and was out in about 50 minutes. I was only charged $220 for this whole experience and it was definitely worth the money. I had an exhaust placed on my 1997 Camaro. Alan did an outstanding job and gave me a great price. Additionally, he repaired a blown header gasket, which was extremely difficult to get to. This shop knows what they're doing. They are very friendly and they accommodate to anything that you would like. I went in to make my dual tips into quad tips.
