Well I was convinced by someone who turned out to be one of the new owners convinced me to get a manicure. I had not ever had this service and was quite happy. That is until the nails started popping off. I went back and they repaired it free but then more popped off. Still I continued to get pedicures. They have some skilled people but I got assigned to a nail tech who had not done nails under the previous ownership. She did other services but not nails. When removing the polish she somehow cut my toe below the cuticle. She tried to stop it oozing. The cut did not heal for quite awhile. It was open and sore. I sent them a photo and asked for a different nail tech. Their response was nothing. Crickets. Not even a sorry. I just decided to find another salon. Too bad really. But as a long time customer I really felt I should have had one of the very experienced technicians. Well actually every customer should have a painless pedicure and nails that don't pop off.

The nail tech caused my fingers to bleed, took all the length off my nails and left them rough and uneven. The polish was applied with so many thick layers that three hours later it still was tacky wet- this is after the technician used quick dry spray to help. I had my visit prepaid and they tried to leave a service off. They had to move my appointment because the person who was supposed to do one of my services walked out that day. They stopped during my massage to go call the owner to figure it out. I reached out via email to give the owner a chance to rectify the situation but never received a response. The facials are incredible and the only reason I gave 2 stars. I have included a photo of the reciept and Mani Pedi since the owner is claiming I wasn't there.

First time, the salon said they called to cancel my appointment, then they said the appointment wasn't there to begin with, then blamed it on a "system error" because all of the massage therapist had quit. Not sure why all the different stories, just say sorry and make it right! They made me another appointment for the following week for a 90 minutes deep tissue massage, arrived and the therapist told me that she didn't "have time" for a 90 minute so I ended up getting a 60 minute massage, despite the appointment on the books being scheduled as a 90 minute massage. It actually was a really nice massage, so wanted to try to get another one. Just arrived back from another appointment that my husband made three weeks prior; I tried to call to confirm, no one answered the phone, arrived to find out the appointment wasn't scheduled. Realized the appointment I made was with a therapist that is no longer listed on the website. Obviously, I won't go back as they will not take responsibility for their errors and the online system is horrible. Definitely do not recommend as they cannot seem to get their own scheduling issues resolved. La Bella likes to respond that negative reviews are phony reviews...this one is not.

The studio is tucked inside the Sola Salon with other smaller beauty studios. Narin Studio is big enough for one customer at a time and is by appointment only. So be sure to call ahead for availability. As far as the threading services go, Narin is very detailed and takes her time. You can tell she takes pride in her work and unlike a lot of other larger threading salons, I've never felt rushed. With my brows looking this good, Narin studio is a huge YES for me!

I went in today to get a fill, I…read morehave gotten gel fills for the past 2 years at the same place but the woman who usually does my nails was on vacation and I desperately needed a fill so I came here, I waited for 45 minutes at 3:15 on a Monday which I didn't really mind too much. I looked at the colors and decided on a color that actually wasn't gel. They tried to pressure me into getting gel but I was set on this particular color. The first problem was she put the acrylic on lopsided on a number of my nails, which I didn't notice until she put the color on. Then she filed the top of my nails making sure to file the skin off of my fingers above my cuticle, then she put 2 coats of nail polish on not even covering the whole nail and rushed me out to go let them dry... Then disappeared. I let them dry and then felt them and they were rugged and the nail polish rubbed off of my nails feeling like powder or something. So when I asked someone else to redo them she came in yelling and screaming about how she "watched me rub them off" the point was the nail polish shouldn't just rub off when you feel it. Especially when it's dry. So when I asked To get gel she proceeded to yell and complain about how I didn't want gel. Which was true, I wanted that particular color that didn't happen to be gel. I also noticed she filed down one side of my nail too much and it was bending and breaking.. I asked if someone else could fix it because I didn't want her redoing my nails and everyone just ignored me... Then they wanted me to pay $35 for a FILL... The worst experience I have EVER had. EVER!

The nail techs are really talented and confident in their work, which makes sense because they always seem busy. One thing I've noticed though is that when it gets busy, they can work a little too fast which leads to over filing or being a bit rough on thinner nails and cuticles. I've found that speaking up and asking them to go gently usually helps, and going during less busy times makes the experience even better. My partner and I especially love going there for pedicures because it feels super relaxing, and they offer drinks while you're getting serviced which is a nice touch. Overall, everyone is accommodating and good at what they do despite occasional small misunderstandings. I personally enjoy the pedicure experience the most there, but for manicures I just make sure to over communicate what works best for my nails. In terms of design I have always gotten what I had in mind, which is why I go back.
