So, I've been going to Eye to Eye for 20 years or so. Dr Jeruss was the owner. He and his staff were great. About 2017/2018, I believe he got sick and there was a Dr. Z. Then last year it was another new doctor. Dr. Chung he was great, really helped me as I've got some health issues that effect my eyes. Two weeks ago at my appt, it's all new. Doctor, staff and whole place rearranged, that's cool... until the doctor! He didn't/ doesn't listen to what you say, cuts you off and tells you what he thinks you were going to say. Okay, so fast forward to needing a copy of my prescription. First call they email right away, great except it's my old prescription. Call back and advise them the mixup... on the 3rd call before I can even complete my name, she says email going right now, click. Needless to say I won't go back. I have been seeing Dr. Jeruss for years now. I have worn glasses for many years. Recently, I found out about an alternative to LASIK - Ortho K - and inquired about it. Apparently, Dr. Jeruss is an expert in the field. It took several attempts to get the right pair of contacts to correct my vision overnight, but he finally got it right. I also took my daughter to see Dr. Z (I can't spell her full name). My daughter was 5, and Dr. Z was absolutely incredible and patient with her. If either of my daughters has any issues in the future, I will no hesitate to take them to her. I highly recommend both docs at Eye-To-Eye. read more

I had such a positive experience with this practice that I had to share. Full disclosure, I'm not a patient, but I was looking for a new optometrist in the Roswell area. When I explained my needs, Jesse said she needed to check with the doctor (I believe it was Dr. Z) in order to give me an accurate quote for self-pay. She called me back the same day and let me know that the doctor was aware of my insurance company's process, and she recommended checking if my eye exam was covered as part of Kaiser's healthcare coverage (in fact it was covered at a Kaiser location, so that's why I'm not a patient). The only place I've been treated like this is at my dentist's office which I've been going to for 10+ years. The level of service here is unparalleled. If/when my insurance situation changes, I'll be sure to visit Eye to Eye! read more

Marietta is a trek but I'm glad that I went to see Dr. Jeruss. He's very knowledgeable and funny. He's hands on and knows his stuff. Little did I know that I've been wearing the wrong prescription (way too strong) contacts for over a year! I saw two separate optometrists in Seattle (same office) because it was time for new contacts and I told them that I thought my vision was getting worse. As Dr. Jeruss told me, don't ever trust optometrists that just write you a stronger prescription. My eyes are still adjusting but I'm happy that my vision isn't getting worse. They perform a lot more tests at this office than I've ever experienced and that alone should prove that they are superior. I had no idea that eye strain (due to wearing the wrong prescription, etc...) can cause the cells in your eyeballs to possibly explode (WHAT?!). I didn't even know I had an issue with different sized cells and whatnot. Lucky for me this issue is reversible. Thanks for taking care of me, Dr. Jeruss! read more

First, I am not a former employee of Dr. Jeruss or any vision center, just a dissatisfied ex-customer, and I am not being paid to write this review. Dr. Jeruss and this Eye to Eye Vision Center have many great reviews. That's why I went to them on October 6, 2015 for an eye check up and to get my new prescription. But 100 days later (10-06-2015 thru 1-13-2016), after three failed attempts to make correct glasses for me, retesting, remeasuring, then sending them off to regrind the lenses again and again, I had to ask my Vision Insurance company, Davis Vision, to help me get my money back. BEWARE! Very friendly personalities can't guarantee glasses will be correct. Three (3) different pairs of glasses made for me WERE NEVER CORRECT. You'll enjoy the calm of the office and maybe enjoy the big friendly dog wandering around the testing areas, but BEFORE YOU PURCHASE GLASSES HERE, make sure both eyes focus through both lenses at the same time - mine never did. If you've received glasses from this Marietta Eye to Eye, are your lenses really correct, is each eye correctly in focus and both in focus on the same spot at the same time? Mine never were. ALSO, make sure they do not 'secretely' do tests not covered by your Vision insurance, meaning they will charge your Health Insurance provider, too. This will require a lot of your time to try to fix. They did it to me and quite a few others I found in other online review sites, and it took a lot of phone calls by me attempting to correct. Because NONE of the 3 glasses they made for me worked, I have no confidence Dr. Jeruss found my correct eyeglass prescription. So I went to a different optometrists, that has more up to date equipment, and their prescription did not match Dr. Jeruss' prescription. I posted a negative review about their scheduling earlier but when I went back today the Dr confronted me about it and was very straightforward in explaining the situation. Apparently online appointments don't count unless you contact/are contacted by the office and confirm it.. Anyway he was nice about it and made sure I could see someone for follow up no charge in Chicago, where I go to school. That's really nice and I appreciate the straight up way he talked to me about my ex review on Yelp. Also apparently my vision improved with the contacts which is not supposed to happen but hey, that's pretty cool too. So overall I change my mind and I think they do try to give comprehensive help. Dr. Jeruss was very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. He answered all of my questions and took the time and care to take the best images of my eyes for contact lens fitting. He also took the time to address some minor irritation he saw in one of my eyes - not noticeable to me but identified by his instruments. I went to him specifically for corneal shaping lenses. His interest is definitely in finding the best solution for his patients and did not pressure me into the procedure and informed me of the pros, cons and limitations I may experience based on the shape of my eyes. He and his staff also worked with my insurance coverage to ensure that my insurance was used to the best of its ability. read more

Walking into Eye to Eye literally feels like I'm walking into my neighbors house that I would've visited often growing up in my hometown. I've been going to their place to buy glasses frames for a few years now and I appreciate their work ethic and personable/chill style. THeir office feels like my house a little bit: a little unkempt by they know exactly where everything is and I feel that's very refreshing. They always have the customers interest at heart. As a customer of their for a few years now I would definitely recommend them to college kids leaving their hometowns and looking for a vision center closer to KSU. The clients and staff are friendly and the staff seem to go out of their way to give the customer the best care they can. I've never visited for them a check up - only for purchasing glasses and frames and for that service I'd highly recommend them. I'm still going to my hometown place (near Savannah) for actual check ups so I can't recommend them for anything more than their products management, which is excellent and fair. I love Dr. Jeruss's office - he and all his staff are very professional, yet nice, funny, and down to earth. I've been going there for 4 years and have never had a less-than-superb experience. Everyone there is happy to explain the tests, the equipment, the terms that I wasn't familiar with, etc. Their office is nice and automated and efficient, and yet that doesn't mean they don't have a great personal touch. This is a great office for your eye care. I have been a patient for a little over a year. I was previously unhappy with my glasses after going to a "big box" chain store/doctor's office for several years. Dr. Jeruss and his staff took the time to get it right. He changed my prescription, helped suggest materials, and performed the most thorough eye exam I have received. The staff is friendly. Frames and lenses are affordable, and they do not just push the most expensive offerings on you. Even though my health insurance could pay for eye exams elsewhere, I maintain separate vision insurance to be able to receive the professional services here. read more
