I just called MyEyeDr in Roswell and they were able to confirm an appointment and temporary lenses immediately - while I will have to pay for another exam, I am grateful not to have to return. This is stealing and lack of fulfilled services. Update - The District Manager was able to help me and direct me to the Alpharetta location - I felt like she did all she could to help make things right. While I won't be returning to the Perimeter location, the Alpharetta staff was friendly and supportive.

According to UPS tracking, the order was delivered to the store on October 10th at 10:56 a.m. and signed for by someone with the last name Patel. When I arrived on October 11th to pick up my glasses, no one in the store could locate them. A staff member named Chad was the only person who truly tried to help--he searched the Optical Department, the receiving area, and even brought in Tasha, a Team Leader from Customer Service. Despite their efforts, my order was nowhere to be found. Another staff member, possibly an assistant manager, confirmed they had checked all deliveries and said no one named Patel even works there. So, if UPS shows the glasses were signed for and no one on staff claims responsibility, the only reasonable conclusion is that my $600 glasses were stolen after delivery. I asked for a refund, and was directed back to the Optical Department. That's when things went from bad to unbelievable. Jasmine, the employee there, refused to contact Target Optical's online or corporate support to help resolve the issue--she simply told me I'd have to wait until Monday. When I calmly asked her to make an effort to reach someone who could assist, she refused. Then, instead of offering any customer service, she called Security and had me removed from the store. I was escorted out for doing nothing more than asking for help with a missing $600 order that was confirmed delivered. The security guard even admitted, "You're being asked to leave just because they asked you to leave." Meanwhile, Chad confirmed I had done absolutely nothing wrong. The lack of accountability here is astounding. My order didn't just "go missing"--it was clearly delivered, signed for, and disappeared under Target's watch. Chad and Tasha deserve credit for trying to do the right thing, but the rest of the experience was a disgrace. Target Optical and Target's Perimeter management need to investigate how an expensive order could be delivered, signed for, and never reach the customer--and why a paying customer was treated so poorly when asking for help.

After my positive experience, I recommended this place to my parents, and they were very happy with their glasses as well. There are a few things I really like about Italy Optical. First, if you purchase lenses or frames from them, the eye exam fee is waived, which is a great benefit. Second, the quality of their lenses and frames is excellent -- I've worn mine for a long time and they've held up very well. Third, both the eye exam process and the overall service are thorough and attentive. I also noticed that my vision has been much more stable this year, which is reassuring. Although my eyesight isn't perfect, I decided to try a slightly larger frame this time -- it definitely helps balance my smaller eyes and gives me a better overall look. Overall, a consistently great experience!

My wife has brought some knotty vision problems to Judson Briggs, problems that other prescribers seemed unable to solve. He listened very carefully and figured out workable solutions. At one of Atlanta's high powered ophthamolgy groups, the "back of the eye" (retina) specialists pay little attention to the "front of the eye"; vice versa for the cataract specialists. The way to avoid possible oversights in such situations is to have good a PRIMARY eye care doctor. Perhaps because as an DO-optometrist Dr Briggs cannot specialize the way an MD-opthamalogist might, he may actually be better suited to primary eye care than an MD. read more

I have been a patient of Dr Briggs and his team of excellent Doctors since he opened his practice years ago, when it was just Dr. Briggs. My entire family -- two generations -- would not consider any other practice for our vision needs. This was my first visit to the Roswell eye clinic, and I had a very positive experience. I was…read morelooking for a new eye doctor, and my family recommended this clinic. When I initially walked inside, I was immediately impressed. I was greeted by multiple people at the front desk, and I appreciated their use of technology in allowing me to confirm my information and sign the acknowledgment forms on a computer screen. April, the Certified Paraoptometric (CPO), took me to the examination room, and performed visual acuity tests. She also used the Optical coherence tomography (OCT) to take images of the retina or back of the eye. I valued the way she took the time to explain each step in the process. Afterwards, Dr. Flanagan, the optometrist, came into the room and finished the eye exam. She was professional as well as personable, and she took the time to answer all of my questions. The next step in the process was sitting down with Chad, the optician, to review eyewear options and select frames. When I had questions about the charges, and what my benefits covered, he provided all of the details related to the frames, the lenses, and all of the various options. The final step in the process was checking out and providing payment. Yolanda, the front desk manager, was friendly, and she offered me the opportunity of scheduling my next appointment before I departed. After leaving the clinic, I received emails with a post visit survey, as well as a reminder of my next appointment date. I would definitely recommend the Roswell eye clinic to others, and I look forward to my future visits.

In a healthcare setting, especially one that works directly with insurance providers, ethical administration and financial transparency are essential. Applying fees without proper communication creates distrust and gives the impression that revenue is prioritized over patient care. Given my experience, I believe this business would benefit from a formal review or audit of its billing practices to ensure compliance with proper standards. After obtaining my prescription, I chose to leave rather than continue doing business there. I have been going to Midtown Optical for years. I love Dr. Barnes and Kay at Midtown Optical, but the drive is just too far. I was thrilled and shocked that Dr. Girello is Dr. Barnes' wife. I was happy to keep it in the family! She was very thorough. Great chair side manner. Now let's get to Henry, the optician. He is so knowledgeable. He explained exactly what I needed. Unlike the chain stores, Henry didn't try to upsell me. My glasses came in before promised. Prescription was perfect! I could finally see their beautiful store!!! Kudos to Henry and Dr. Girello for giving me an amazing experience!!

I typically leave the optometrist glad I only have to do it once per year. I cannot explain how…read morepleasantly delighted I was that I left kind of bummed that I would have to wait an entire year for my next visit. Dr Lam was the kindest, most knowledgeable Optometrist I have seen. He talked me through everything they did, told me about things I should be aware of, and made me feel heard about my sensitivities to certain contact lenses. Not to mention the staff was so kind and welcoming (they even helped me with my little party crasher - my 4 month old daughter). Loved my experience overall, cannot wait to visit next year.
