Today was my first day back at Hollywood eyebrows in several months. Today I had Sabrina for the first time and she is incredible! Sabrina is hands down an amazing eyebrow threader! She is so sweet and so kind! I had to leave a review! She didn't ask me to or even know I would, but she deserves the props when due! She is hands down the sweetest eyebrow threader I've ever been to and her skill is meticulous and perfect! She asks you to make sure you like it, if there are any corrections she needs to make! This is a very clean shop located in the same complex as Target. It's to the right, next to the sheriff's station, with plenty of parking away from the Target crowd. I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was empty. The lady spent about ten minutes on my eyebrows. This was my first time having my eyebrows threaded, it wasn't too terrible... although not as fast as waxing. I'll be honest, waxing hurts less. It costs $7, no tax. Horrible job. Wish I could rate 0 stars. Btw, I never leave reviews because most of the time it's not that bad to do so. I forgot why I stopped coming here and it's because they decapitate my eyebrows everytime. I have blonde eyebrows so granted it's hard to see, but my other threading place does an amazing job. For reference look at the before picture and the after. Even when I sat down the lady said, " you go somewhere else huh? These aren't my eyebrows." I should've seen that as a red flag but thought it was just like she has a certain way of doing things, not she's going to pulverize my eyebrows (let alone they aren't sisters or twins either). What a waste of $15.00 and horrible eyebrows that I have to legit draw on now. Literally left me in tears and I don't think I've ever cried about my eyebrows before. I didn't see the full extent with the handheld mirror until I left a tip and went to my car and then immediately wished I never got my eyebrows done, let alone tipped her for taking off half of my eyebrow. How my visits tend to go a little something like this: 1. Come in with crazy caterpillar eyebrows 2. OW! 3. WOW! 4. HOW?! So cheap & my eyebrows are on fleek! (jk don't question their prices....just love them and tip them). I get my eyebrows and lip threaded all for just $10!!! They're fast, cheap, and do an amazing job. I can't trust anyone else with my eyebrows. Unfortunately, I learned that the hard way (I tried to go somewhere closer to home...never again). Also, if you get the pennysaver (and you're from that area) I believe they have coupons out to save you even more! ANDDDDD every 7 times you get a free eyebrow threading session! Just opened a week ago! It's pretty plain inside, but that's because of the short-term time that it's been open. Get your eyebrows masterfully threaded for only $8. Credit cards accepted! It's in the Target Plaza near the Sheriff's station on the right when you drive in. The lady spent a good 10-13 minutes making sure it was right. I'm sure you can make it go faster if you need it to go faster. read more

I've given this place so many chances but after today, I won't be going back anymore. The first time I came here, they messed up my eyebrows so I had to get a refund. The second time I had to come back because there was still hairs on my upper lip. And sadly, today they threaded my eyebrows horribly to the point where I have to fill it in. Just got my eyebrows done here this afternoon. At the moment when they show you your eyebrows right after they finish, you inspect for one second or two and idk what it is about their lighting but they appear to be okay. Only for you to get home and see thAt your eyebrows are now distant acquaintances. Not even in the same family ‍ my eyebrows look worse than when I got there after a month of growing them out so I can get a good shape. Not even a good eyebrow pencil can fix this mess. I usually have no problem coming here. I'm not here normally on Tuesday evening but I decided to go in today and a lady that has never done my brows before did mine. I told her I wanted a clean up that's it. That shouldn't be a problem right? Well, let me tell you. As soon I saw my eyebrows in the mirror, I nearly started bawling on the chair. My left eyebrow was fine but very thin with my nice arch but my right eyebrow was missing the entire arch I have been growing FOREVER. So now I have 2 different kinds of eyebrows going on. One with an arch and one with just a slant. Like how did this bitch not see the difference when she was threading?? I could tell she wasnt even paying attention. She did my eyebrows sooo fast. I'm so upset I started crying as soon as I stepped out the door. I'm embarrassed of my eyebrows. I don't wear make up a majority of the time so this is going to suck. read more

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in this place. Ive been coming here for about five years now, they have always kept my eyebrows on point. But today something terrible happened and I'm pretty sure I will never return. Their lack of customer service is just astounding to me. So they have a stamp card and after 7 you get one free. Long story short I politely asked them why they had charged me a certain amount and the receptionist responded..." Well what would you like it to be?" With sarcasm in her voice and a glare on her face. HOW RUDE! I simply wanted to understand the pricing because for as long as I had been there it had been less. Not sure why they need the attitude. I was really contemplating on whether to give this place 3 or 4 stars, but the experience I had definitely made me want to give this place 3! I came here a while ago to get my eyebrows done for the first time in my life, and chose to do so since I had my senior homecoming in a week. I was the only customer in there since they had just opened up. I specifically told the lady there that I wanted to keep the shape of my eyebrows the same, and that I DO NOT want them thin. The lady said ok and she proceeded. She was very skilled and definitely knew what she was doing, so I am not berating on her talent at all. However when she was done and gave me the mirror, I ended up bursting out in tears because there were so thin and the hairs were so short! I later sucked it up and concluded that I felt this way because I have never done my eyebrows before. Homecoming came and went, and after a year I'm deciding on coming back! read more

Fast. Cheap. Easy. Everything you want from a eyebrows place. They do have a wait sometimes during the evening times, but I usually go before they close - when no one is around or early during the weekend. They have you sign in and BOOM BAM, you sit and your eyebrows are done. Prices are great and you get a stamp card. PARKING: Tons available in the strip mall. If you prefer a specific technician, speak up and wait for her to take you. I just went in and Shata did a phenomenal job on my cave-woman brows! Last time I came in, I had someone who has been mentioned here a few times as not very good. I was in a hurry and decided to take chance. Boy, was that a mistake. She "broke" a lot of the hairs rather than pulling them up at the root and the end result wasn't even symmetrical. I have never experienced threading and it is so much better than waxing. I have sensitive skin and the wax started to cause breakouts and skin irritation. Eye [sic] also believe waxing pulls on the delicate skin surrounding our ojos and causes premature aging- who knows if that is true or not but it sounds rational to an irrational person, ha ha! Also I do not need to Yelp a Botox visit too early in life. TYVM. The ladies threading are Indian and very professional. I asked for a nice relaxed arch and a clean up..I have to admit my upper lip as well (not so sexy, sorry!) Threading for my brows= $7 Upper lip (so sexy now without a lip fro)= $3 Out the door for $10 and if you are a repeat customer, you receive the fifth threading for free. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Very awful customer service. Do not waste your time and money. You can pay the same amount of money (normally $20 for Half Face, but I paid 25$ + tips that she didn't even deserved it) somewhere else and get a better quality of service. The Lady which perhaps is the manager was very rude. I have done threading since I was 16 and I now how much will exactly take if someone wanted to do a great job and remove all the facial hairs. She only spent 10 minutes on my face for sides, upper and lower lips and necks. When I looked at my face in the mirror, I noticed that a lot of hairs left on my face and my face didn't even look clean. read more

I visited Eyebrow Hollywood in Duarte, Ca on 8/22/10 at 11:50am to have my eyebrows threaded. Im extremely upset at the fact that my eyebrows are VERY uneven. When I told the girl they were uneven she got mad only to replying no they are not. Dealing will customers all day my look is important. With that being said, I have had customers ask what happened to my eyebrows. Oh and please turn on your A/C. It is very hot in your location. I am VERY disappointed. read more

I've been going to Ziba for years, however I was kinda getting fed up with the dollar increases every year and the the inconsistency among the ladies that did my eyebrows. I decided to try Eyebrow Hollywood, because it is so close to me and it had decent reviews on Yelp. The place is no frills, really clean and efficient. I went in on a Sunday, didn't wait and was out 15 minutes tops. My eyebrows looked fantastic and it only costs me 7 dollars! I went there again two weeks ago, and got a different lady, my eyebrows looked FAB again. Will def go to this place again! P.S. It hurts..and it will always hurt. If you can't suck it up for 10 minutes, then don't do it. read more

Threading is a hair removal technique that uses 100% cotton thread. The cotton thread is twisted and rolled along the surface of the skin entwining the hairs in the thread, which are then lifted quickly from the follicle. I've been going here for years and always had my brows done by Jina. However, this past Tuesday,…read morethe only artist in the store was Kristi. I decided to try this artist, but I walked out with regrets. I requested clean up for my brows, and during the session, she had broken the string several times. The pressure applied to my eyebrow area was painful. Even with aloe applied afterwards, my brows were stinging. 2 days later, I started to see the scabs on my on my eyelid. Lesson learned and will stick with Jina in the future.
