Disappointed. Accidentally stepped in here to get a quick thread and wax after regrowing out a bad thread shape from a couple of months ago. (Not h from here). I meant to go down a few doors to the other threading salon as I've had mostly good luck there but figured I'd just try it out since I was in here. I specifically told the woman I liked my brows thick and a straighter shape (not curved). She then said she would clean it up and let me take a look. Whelp, she didn't listen and followed the same bad shape from before. I guess I will go back to regrowing my brows and chalk it up to a lesson learned. Note to staff-listen to your customer and take off little and get input from the customer if you aren't sure what they are looking for. I will not be returning and gave 2 stars as there was no wait & clean. I would recommend the salon a few doors down or the one on Taylor street. read more

Threading House is easily the most reliable threading salon in the area. They're super flexible with walk‑ins. I have never waited more than 5 minutes! Eyebrow threading can be unpredictable it say the least! But here I never worry; I don't have to request a specific person because the whole team is talented, consistent, and trustworthy. My brows always come out clean, even, and exactly how I want them. The prices are unbeatable for the area, especially considering the quality. Location: easy to get to, and I've always been able to find street parking right outside. read more

I stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon to get my eyebrows threaded. I had visited one time before and had a good experience but this time was GREAT. Mitali is AMAZING. She is very personable and professional. She greeted me right away and asked how I like my eyebrows. (My eyebrows are difficult as they dont grow in certain areas)I told her what I liked and she listened, then offered her advice to best give me what i want while also not compromising my eyebrows and the results were amazing. She has the lightest touch, it was the least painful threading experience Ive ever had. No cuts or rashes or bright red face. I was out running errands and happened to walk by just as customer was leaving and no one was waiting so I jumped on the opportunity. This was my first time at The Threading House, though a good friend told me about it a while back! I came in for an eyebrow tint and cleanup - I like my shape but my usual spot only does wax / tweeze and I don't let anyone wax the top of my eyebrows. I also haven't been happy with the lasting power of the tint where I've been going. The woman who worked on my brows did a great job, very quick and almost completely painless even with my very sensitive skin. The combo service cost $30, which is about $10 cheaper than I'm used to paying. Let's hope the tint lasts longer, but I plan on returning! read more

I've been coming to get my brows threaded here for a while now. The stations are clean and since the pandemic I love how hygienic they are with the threading. My favorite tech is Mitali she's kind, gracious, and always does an amazing job caring about the integrity of my brows. However both techs are good so you won't be disappointed either way. They also have a punch card reward service that gives you a free service so that's nice! read more

Came today at right before 11AM for eyebrows + tinting and the owner did not arrive until 11:10AM. Fine, but a woman walks up as she's unlocking the door and she took her before me even though she could tell that I had been waiting in my car. Fine!! Not in a rush. When she was done with the woman before me, I simply asked very politely if she could either spray the big ass can of Lysol right next to her or wipe it with one of the Clorox wipes that was also RIGHT NEXT to her. Basically she said no. Why?!?! She's a fool for not being polite #1 and for #2 she just lost money over a wipe that would've cost her .12¢. What kind of business owner acts this way towards customers during a pandemic?!? Won't be coming back. read more

Checked this place out based on reviews and I'm glad I did. I haven't gotten my eyebrows done in over a year and wasn't able to go to my usual place. I had such a great experience from scheduling to the actual appointment. She was super patient and listened to my preferences for how I wanted my eyebrows done. In addition, she gave me tips on how to deal with post threading redness and I was able to avoid any breakouts! Highly recommend this place! It's become my new go to spot. read more

I'm used to getting my brows waxed, and this was my first threading experience. 10/10 highly recommend. What a find!!! The Threading House!! Whenever I want to brighten my face and highlight my eyes I get threaded. Mitali is a hidden gem for sure!! She is meticulous about how she keeps her place, a perfectionist about how she threads your face, and has a calming presence. I just got my eyebrows done here. I told the threader that I just wanted to clean my eyebrows and tried to emphasize to them that I did not want my eyebrows any thinner. When the threader finished, one of my eyebrows looked noticeably thinner and misshapen than it originally looked, and I mentioned it. The owner or manager told me that I did not have to pay, which was generous but I did not feel comfortable not paying. When I came home, I simply asked my roommate, "What do you think of my eyebrows?" She pointed at the one eyebrow I was unhappy with and noticed the same changes I did. This further validated to me that this was an objective change to my eyebrow. I suggest that if you do come here, please give very clear and detailed instructions, make sure they understand, and monitor the threading through the process (always better to have them do less first and then thread more if needed-- you can always take away more hair, you can't grow it back right away). I say this as someone who has been to many threading places before and usually does not provide oversight during the process. But I feel you might need it here. read more
