My first ever experience with eyebrow threading went horribly wrong and I haven't done it since. Here, it was a totally different story. The threading wasn't painful as I thought, and the detail to get all the hairs was remarkably detailed. I experienced little redness too afterwards, as my skin is very sensitive. However, I saw Brown Sugar Lash Studio's opening deal for a full set and decided to book. Scheduling an appt on the website was super easy and I loved the email reminder the day before. At my first appt, Leola walked me to her lash space and made sure to ask what I wanted for my set. I explained to her some of my lash history and showed her some pictures of some of the sets I have gotten in the past that I liked. I told her I prefer long and wispy, but wanted to stay hybrid. I could tell she really cared about my likes and dislikes and I appreciated the mini consult prior to her starting to lash me. In about 1.5 hrs, (which is a lot faster than some lash artists) I opened my eyes to a beautiful hybrid set that blew my expectations away. She had a gentle hand, and I was able to relax while she worked. I felt so pretty and I immediately was ready to book my fill in a couple weeks. I know myself and after getting lash extensions for years, I usually lose a lot of lashes due to sweaty workouts, side sleeping, and fast hair/lash regrowth... but my retention was really good and honestly much better than I expected for a 3 week fill. Of my fallout, I noticed the lashes were my natural lash with the extension still on, instead of just the lash extension falling off, which tells me the application or glue wasn't an issue and it was just my natural lash fallout over time! At my fill appt, she asked if there were any issues or anything I'd like to change, which I really appreciated. I told her no issues but asked for a little more wispy and she adjusted to exactly what I asked for! I could not have been more happy with my set and her service!
