My experience here was mixed. The gentleman working in the back was very helpful and professional, but the service at the front counter was confusing and uncomfortable. The representative Stacie assisting us appeared to be new, which I understand, but the explanation of the two-for-one deal didn't make sense and the pricing didn't seem to add up. I asked several clarifying questions but the information wasn't explained clearly and a lot of industry terms were used that weren't easy to understand as a customer. I was also uncomfortable being called pet names like "love" and "mama," which felt unprofessional in a customer service setting. I work in customer service myself, so I understand that training takes time, but I think additional coaching and clearer communication would really improve the experience for customers. I liked that I got my glasses in a few days and I really liked the doctor who did my exam as well as the gentleman who is in the back as well, I just feel there should be improvement on the front end for customer service. read more

I had a somewhat good experience at another location about three years ago, so I decided to try a more high end place and that experience was way worse! So, I came back to Eyeglass World, but another location, and glad I did. Ironically, I dealt with the same person I did three years ago at a different location. I didn't know until my Mom and the guy helping me told me. Anyway, I brought in my prescription from another place, and they helped me get new glasses without any major issues. I needed bifocals, and they suggested I go with them instead of peripherals, which cost more, so I loved the honesty here and not just cash grabbing. My glasses were ready within a week, and reasonably priced for bifocals with a night glare tint because I have issues seeing well at night. My vision is so good with these new glasses. I just have to get used to tilting my head a certain way to use the bifocals. I love this location and will come back here often. My Mom was not a fan of the other location and swore Eyeglass World off, but now she wants to come here to this location for her next pair. I took her to a boutique shop and she is not happy with her current pair. Sometimes it is not always you get what you pay for! This place is well priced and high quality! read more

Bought glasses back in June. Tonight the hinge broke. Called and told only had a warranty on the one pair which of course it's not the pair that broke. But it was missing one of the nose pads so she said I could bring it in so I brought it in and Leo was very helpful. he let me know that I could get a warranty since it was close to the time they were purchased. Repaired the nose pad and I was able to purchase a warranty at a great price and had a brand new pair of frames for the ones that broke we will be back when it's time for new glasses. read more

Horrible business Practice. Scam Alert!!!!!!! They will tell you something to get you in the door and then switch to charge you when you arrive. I see why I never used this company in the past and I never will again. I called to schedule this appointment and wanted to verify my insurance information and the cost prior to coming in. I spoke to Janice gave her my insurance and policy number and she informed me the eye exam would be $10-$20 dollars and $150-$200 coverage for glasses with the insurance. I arrive the next day for my appointment and they have no records of my insurance and they don't accept my insurance. No one can get in contact with Janice who verified everything the day prior. They said they can't call her to see what she was looking at when she verified my coverage. I was told we can reschedule your appointment? To waste more time speaking to people that are unable to help. Everyone seemed confused there. Why not just try and contact the employee who set up the appointment and verified the coverage. Does Janice have a data base that no one else could access? They said we can't contact Janice because it's her day off. I'm so confused how you give customer information incorrectly and just want to schedule us for another day. Lovejeet the manger said she can discount the glasses but can't give me an accurate price but they would be starting at $150 but I will still have to also pay for the exam $90. Just a waste of time and money. No one seems to be held accountable for giving incorrect information. Spoke to Leo and he said with the discount the glasses can range from $150-900 depending on the prescription. I came in for an eye exam that was supposed to cost $20 the most and now I'm the want to make me pay all this money. Definitely go somewhere else. Follow up: finally got my glasses. It took an additional 2 weeks because 1 of the frames they chose were too awkward and heavy for my face. While I was there picking up the second pair a guy came in all upset cause he said his prescription was all wrong. SAME THING HAPPENED to me!!! I can't see out of the top of my glasses. They are not bifocals but I have to pull them all the way down my nose to see anything. If I wear either pair normal on my face I can't see close. This has NEVER happened to any of my other glasses. But I am so disgusted by this company and their service I dont want to bring them in. Knowing that the guy who was there upset about his glasses- they did the same thing to me. So this happens a lot- they mess up the prescription and the making of the glasses! The prescription they gave me or the way they made the lenses- it's not right for my eyes and the glasses are TERRIBLE!!!! So disgusted by everything about eyeglass world! This was my first time at the Eyeglass World at Silverado Ranch Plaza on Eastern. The employees I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. My eye exam was done by Dr. Kevin. He definitely has a nice and fun personality, but was a little impatient with my difficulties in determining which lens gave me a better view of the letters. Alberto helped me choose my frames. He did a fine job and was pretty knowledgeable. My insurance isn't accepted at many optical shops, but Eyeglass World accepted a multitude of insurance companies. They were able to have my glasses ready the same day. And, best of all, my total cost was the least I have paid in many, many years! read more

After having the most horrible experience with the Eye Doc at St. Rose who first under diagnosed my progressive eye prescription with stigmatization in both eyes, and a staff who ignored me when I told them I couldn't see clearly, I contacted Eyeglass World and from the very first phone call with Ms. Karen, explained what happened, and she got me in to see Dr. Kevin! Dr. Kevin knew immediately how to fix the problem and boom just like that I could see so crisp Wow! Ms. Karen showed me so much compassion and care with attention to detail so I could have a pair of seeing glasses to start my new driving job the next day with night vision which was extremely important. Worse experience EVER. Took my son for the first time here, for his first contact lenses. He had his exam and after, I was told I would get a call after the lenses arrive. I asked for his prescription (like I've done numerous times in every place before) and I was told by the staff helping us that I'll get it when we come back. I asked him why? I usually get the prescription after I've paid and had my son's exam. He gave me my son's eye glass prescription but not his contacts prescription and still insisted I won't get it till we come back. I thought that was weird and first time ever. I was told I would get a call in about a week when the contacts arrives. Over a week had passed, no call. I called to follow up and when I asked why no one even tried to follow up (like they said they would) turns out, the guy wrote my wrong phone number. So ok, all good. No biggie. But contacts haven't arrived yet (like I was told it would by now). Over 2 weeks had passed, still no call back. I called again, was on hold for a long time and finally, was told that due to my son's prescription, there's a slight delay, and it will take a little longer than usual. It would've been ok if one, they at least check on this, two don't tell customers it'll only take a week but now it's taken 3 times longer and three, at least follow up. Not once did I ever get a call from this business. I was always the one calling to follow up and way over days after, that they claim they would do so. So now I'm told it'll take about a month. So I wait over a month and still no call, no follow up, no nothing. Not even a courtesy call. I called again and now I'm told that something happened with the shipment and they had to re order it. At this point I was upset and told the guy on the phone.... Is it really so hard for you guys to just call your customers and update us. You could've at least let me know instead of me waiting around..... I then asked for a copy of my son's prescription. The guy on the phone said, you should've received it the day of your son's exam. I said, that's what I thought and at every place we've been at, that was the case. But with you guys the guy who helped us that day did not want to give it to me and said I'll get it when we come back. Guy on the phone apologized and said he'll email it to me. Another 2 weeks had passed, still no call from this place. AT ALL. So I decided to go to another place, ordered my son's contacts there, got a call a little over a week to follow up then another call a week after to let me know it has arrived. Now isn't that what great customer service should be!!! Now, it's been 3 months.... Ask me if Eye Glass world had called me to even give me a courtesy call or let me know if the contacts have arrived...... NOTHING! I will certainly tell everyone I know not to go here. This place didn't even attempt to fix their problem or even try to reach out after, to address it. Not even an apology. Or how about just an explanation. AWFUL! read more

Initially the first call I got was telling me to come earlier than my appointed time 5:30 pm because they double booked it for some reason. I was already leaving my job early so them telling me to come even earlier was a definite no go. Then they told me I would have to re-schedule if I couldn't come in earlier than 5:30pm. I am already irritated by this point and don't even feel comfortable coming in. They called back to fix the issue saying if I could come as soon as possible but honestly the damage had been done and I was beyond pissed. I had to call back to cancel because I'd rather go to Pearl Vision who I normally go to anyways. On vacation, one of the eyepads on my new glasses fell out. My optometrist's office was a thousand miles away. Be aware this establishment is the biggest fraud in the industry ofEye GLASS. They all wear white guns, pretending to be professional technicians, and all they are a bunch of thieves that will steal your money. All the sales representatives in the store are a bunch of losers by the time you leave the store they will rip you apart hundreds of dollars. I purchased two eyeglasses and it cost me over $700 to find out that it was not fit to my current doctor's proscription. It was two years old proscription. And they never told me that I need a new one. So I basically got two glasses. They were worthless. Went back to complain and they told me that my brain needs to adjust to the new eyeglass.. I will never buy over there and I will definitely tell anybody that I know not to buy any eyeglasses over there. read more

This is got to be the worst experience I have ever experience my wife took my 17 year old for eye check up we have Medicare insurance my out of pocket expenses came out to 280.00 dollars on top of a mis diagnosis we were rushed to have eye surgery she the optometrist said your son has a tear in one eye and a hole in his other eye with fluid in it and he can go blind we were so upset as we drove to the hospital I called my job and said I can't come in tonight we got there and the surgeon said there was no need for surgery he didn't see any hole are tear I know there is a God because it was a miracle or a mis diagnosis I will leave it up to the reader don't go to pearl vision it's a fast food restaurant with no money back guarantee . read more
