Like most places they figure: they get you in there?They've got you. Well no.... Disabled people have tighter restrictions than that. i've been coming here since 2019, then came again in 2021 to now and i have to say today was the best experience i've had at an optometrist with Dr. Felix, she was so attentive and really gave me the care i needed for my eyes. She knew exactly what i needed; when i have previously came to see the previous doctors at this location it always felt like my prescription on my glasses was off, not really helping my problem in results, i would NEVER wear my glasses. Today, i have to say when i saw my prescription glasses i said "oh my god this is exactly what i needed" i see perfectly fine and i am beyond happy ive came across an EXCELLENT optometrist and i would definitely recommend seeing her. I only need glasses for my craft to be able to see the small details while maintaining a good posture, and that is exactly what i got and i am so excited to finally wear the right prescription for glasses! I have been going here for years and the staff is beyond professional. Today I contacted them for an appt., however there was one opening for next week. Myrna booked the appt. for me and later today called to advise there was a cancellation earlier. I appreciated her recalling I needed an earlier appt but she still exhibited exceptional customer skill and integrity when she called me again to advise she discovered my insurance actually would be paying much more than we thought and my out of pocket was almost half of what I initially expected. She went above and beyond for her customer which sadly is rarely seen anymore! I stopped in Optic today as I have a small face and it is always a chore to find frames that fit. Upon my arrival Myrna immediately volunteered to assist me in locating one that fit. My appt with the Dr. isnt until next week but due to the fit issue I wanted to get it taken care of now.Myrna was exceptional in her professionalism, her knowledge, and customer skills. Monica, front office staff was extremely rude, this is the 2nd time I've been in there office and 2nd time I've delt with her, her attitude was uncalled for, I came in with frames that needed lenses, she felt put off that I had my own frames, and what I was asking for simple lenses was small, I unfortunately went there during lunch time, as when she started raising her voice I asked to speak with the doctor, her rude attitude and seeing I wasn't shelling out for "frames and lenses" she wanted nothing to do with my business. Dr. Justin and his team were so nice, and incredibly helpful to me. I was having some issues that I thought were retina related. I was told my symptoms sounded like "optical migraines" by A PREVIOUS optometrist at a "specialist center". I needed a second opinion (and an update prescription), and Dr. Justin took time and care when explaining to me that my eyes were healthy, and that my eyes were actually very healthy. He suggested getting a third opinion with a neurologist. I was shocked. I'm 30, and that was the last thing I was expecting to hear. I took his advice and had an MRI done on my brain. Low and behold, I was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor. If it wasn't for him, I would have been pushed along the medical field with "optical migraines". He pointed me into the right direction and I have been moving forward with the treatment that I most definitely needed. Thank you! read more

I love that I have found a good eye glass place that also sells sunglasses in great brands. They take my insurance which is Aetna. I saw Dr. Johnson for an exam in November and she was very nice. I decided to wait to get new glasses and here I am. Celly and Menchie are very helpful opticians who are super patient with indecisive people like me. If you check in on Yelp you get a free cleaner and cloth. If you have your prescription with them you get 20% off. If you write a good Yelp review and show them then you get 50% off. I'll be back again in November to get my eyes checked and to get new contacts. read more

Dr. Stephanie Johnson and her staff are top notch. She takes her time and does it all right. I was a walk in and she took me anyway. Her staff is super friendly. The selection of glasses is vast, from affordable to mildly pricey. They also carry sunglasses, including some pretty amazing Oakleys. (Obviously, that is the brand I like!) I have attached some photos. They have my particular brand of contacts, which I always have to order and wait two weeks. They had mine in one day and they were cheaper. Her staff was so warm and friendly. They actually talk to you and inquire about your day, and you can tell they really care. The environment is clean and very welcoming. They accept most insurance and their hours of operation are Mon-Thurs 8-6, Fri 8-5 and Sat 8-4. I would definitely check them out if I were you! read more

It's been very difficult to get an eye appointment with this COVID-19. On Tuesday, September 22 I called in and was able to receive a appointment on a cancellation for Friday, 25 September at 11 AM. So you have to call in first to have access to office. I was greeted. I was to fill out paperwork which was very easy & self-explanatory of your needs. Mirna answered all my questions and also was able to tighten my current glasses that were loose for me. Place is clean and smells good. Aylin was very helpful when I was looking at the glasses on display. All the employees are polite. The gentleman who started my exam was polite and great. Doctor Johnson was great and loved the vibe. As I was done with my check up, Aylin was there to assist me on choosing my glasses. It was so hard to choose but I felt so comfortable with the awesome service Aylin provided. She made my decision so much easier and I am very happy with my decision of which glasses I wanted.This place was truly amazing and I would recommend to check them out. Dr Johnson is patient and informative with you but some of the front desk staff were rude. I had an appt for 2:15 and wasn't seen till 2:55. I've been to diff optic gallery locations (7 hills & steph) and this place seemed unorganized. I like the dr but you can't have a good client reif your staff can't do their jobs right. Also with the new virus protocols they make you wait outside longer than normal if you want to look at glasses. I waited outside for 20mins and then everyone went to lunch without saying a word to me. I followed up with the office manager Monica. They don't give appts for "window shopping" but since my experience with her staff wasn't too professional she made sure to get me in when I came back. read more

My experience here was nothing short of exceptional!.. I was traveling for 10 days and didn't realize until I was mid air in my connecting flight that I had left my glasses at home. When I called to see if they would be able to assist me, the young lady over the phone was extremely detailed in explaining what all could be done an offering options. They were able to have me come immediately & were also able to work with my Dr's office back home to get my prescription and insurance I formation faxed over before I even ubered from the airport. I cannot tell you just how much of a stress relief that was... The same person I spoke with over the phone was once again patient in assisting me pick out frames and going over cost and selecting what made the most reasonable sense. Customer service is pretty bad. If you speak spanish, you skip past every other person waiting though. Preferential treatment. Glasses were 4 weeks late. Overcharged what I was originally quoted. Then they were the wrong lenses. Waited another month. Picked them up. Lens broke after a month. Took it back and waited another 2mos. They never bothered calling to notify when they were in. Andy and I came here recently to get prescription glasses, from the results we apparently really needed them! The staff was friendly and on top of things. I do have to say however the iPad they give you to input all your information is a total pain, it doesn't work and is very frustrating. But i give it a pass being as its very eco friendly. The exam went smooth. The doctor however was apparently a "fill in" so it was apparent she couldn't have cared less. She even got Andy's prescription wrong and he had to go back in to get his glasses redone. I'm giving it a 4 star because of the staff and frame selection. read more

Wow! What a difference from their old location! Great staff, very friendly and helpful. I have seen only one doctor but she has been great in helping me fix my sons eyes. They have complimentary Keurig coffee and a tiny nook that is supposed to be a play area but is not impressive. There are a few books and a tiny train table but it is better then nothing! read more

It's hard to find good doctors of any professional that listen to the needs of their patients vs telling the patient what they need. Here I feel heard and cared about! They may not have the eye glass selection of some of the larger chain galleries, but their staff is friendly knowledgeable, and helpful. The doctors are top notch. Their equipment is high tech. I submitted all of my paperwork online so that I didn't have to fill it out there. When I got there I waited about 5 minutes before being called back. My husband and I was looking for a new optometrist and found this one through Yelp. We decided to give this location a chance. I made a quick call to see if they accepted our insurance (which is EyeMed Vision) and of course they did. Whoever answered the phone (I'm so sorry I didn't catch your name) was very polite and very helpful lady. We made an appointment and decided to head over there because I was pretty sure we would have to fill out paperwork. As soon as we entered through those doors, you can feel the nice atmosphere. The receptionist was wonderful with my husband and I. Dr. Johnson was so sweet and made us feel very welcomed. She took her time with us and also spoke Spanish. Bilingual doctor is a plus for us! All of her employees were very nice and helpful. All of our questions were answered and they also let us know that they are getting a new shipment of glasses just in case we didn't find something we liked today. Unfortunately, we didn't walk out with a new pair of glasses BUT we will be coming back next week to check out their new order. They sent me notifications for confirmation had time to look over but it took me checking in and giving all my information for them to tell me they do not accept my insurance. I have no faith that my information is safe and will be keeping a CLOSE watch because they apparently aren't doing their jobs correctly. Do not come here. Wow! This office is amazing! After living here for about a year I finally ventured out to get my eyes checked & glasses RX updated. Needless to say I was very impressed! I use to work for a very upscale optometrist as a Drs assistant & lead optician in California so my bar was set pretty high coming into this office. I called & the girl pulled up my VSP & I was able to schedule my appointment for the very next day. The office was very clean & well organized. I waited maybe 5-7 mins before I was taken back for my pre-testing. The pre-tester explained all of the tests & was very friendly & polite. I saw Dr Stephanie Johnson. She was very sweet & personable. I in no way felt rushed during my exam.She did the usual "Is number 1 better or number 2" thing and reviewed how prescription changed at the end. I then was able to pick out some frames & even ordered 1 frame to view. I was called 3 days later to view that frame & make my final selection. The optician that assisted me was Lluvia. She reviewed what my insurance covered and asked if I saw anything that I liked. She very helpful and patient with me during my frame selection. Since I know of all the lingo I knew what lens material and glare free treatment I needed, but if this was my first experience I am very confident that Lluvia would have explained everything clearly.
