We ordered glasses just before Christmas and just got them today. I called 4 times to check on them…read moreand finally earlier in the week they said they had "just arrived" in that day's arrivals. Apparently the lab lost the frames. I could forgive that but when I called to check the status they promised 3x to call me back and didn't. On a bright note, the receptionist is amazing. I wish her well, she is the most professional person there. I think her name is Amaris.

This place is not customer friendly. My wife and I purchased some glasses and received the complete…read morerun around. First their ad promised a twenty percent discount, when we were doing calculations they said "the discount was figured in the price". Which in the fine print says something completely different.The second issue occurred upon the arrival of the glasses. They did not fit inside the frame, the lens was sticking out. After purchasing the polycarbonated lens, they were still too large. After complaining about the lens they suggested for us to purchase a different type of lens(more expensive). This could have been mention in the beginning and it could have saved us a trip and a headache. When we addressed this issue they pretty much told us we had to choose a different frame. The initial rep told us that the lenses would sit within the frame and it would not stick out (that was a complete lie). There was a significant gap between the frame and the lens. The reps kept going back and forth. They said the issue was with the frame (the edge corner was too squared), and then the excuse was that the prescription required thicker lenses. Their responses seemed very inconsistent and confusing.

I paid in full up front, which ended up being close to 700 dollars for an eye exam and one pair of glasses. When my glasses came in, I couldn't see out of them. Then, after reordering my lenses, which ended up being cheaper, they refused to refund the excess money I had paid, stating simply that it was their "policy" to not refund money. I wish they had told me that up front. I would have gone elsewhere. It is now my "policy" to avoid C & B Optical One at all costs.

Dr. Britzke and his staff are great people. You won't find anyone more friendly or knowledgeable…read morein my opinion. I have been a patient for years for exams, contacts and glasses. There have been a couple of times that I have needed to be seen for an injury or some other issue and Dr. Britzke has always gotten me in immediately, even staying after hours to do so. I highly recommend.
