At no point did I feel they were trying to upsell me on anything. All the frames I tried on were top-quality, and again there was no upsell during either the frame-picking or the lens-picking phase; just an informative review of the different options and whether they seemed to fit my needs. There was an adjustment that needed to be made to the replacement lenses at first, and they did this for free in a timely way. The store has a special Zeiss machine that measures angles for glasses faster and more accurately than most machines. The store also has, in addition to high-quality traditional frames from brands like Lindberg or Masunaga, AI glasses that support prescription lenses. In each visit, the staff offered me complimentary cleaning supplies. On some visits, they also offered champagne, coffee, and even cake! By far the best hospitality and quality of any optical store I've ever visited. I'll be a customer for as long as I live in NYC.

So today, I was running an errand near Koreatown (while wearing my broken sunglasses) so I turned to search Yelp to see if there was a sunglass shop that would be able to fix them today while I was already out. Fast forward - I go in and drop my sunglasses off because they said they can help me! The little knob slipped off of the nose piece - said it was a quick fix and within 15 minutes I was already back in with a fixed pair of sunglasses! They said no charge because it was such an easy fix and I just think that's such an example of great business and them not taking advantage of customers... Because of that, I will now be loyal to them, and no matter what I always rather shop local than buy online. Kudos to this shop for being honest, respectable and good businesspeople!

This lady took one look at them, adjusted them exactly once, and they were instantly perfect. Then I looked around the shop and saw that, even though the selection was small, there were quite a number of pairs I wanted to try on - whoever picked the selection of frames here has amazing taste. High-end and middle-high-end, some really funky and cute selections. Now I'm wondering if I can afford to buy a second pair of glasses this year even though my insurance won't cover it. Anyhow, this is a nice shop and deserves your support!
