Ellen and Creig were incredibly kind and helpful in guiding me through my selection of new frames and replacement lenses. All questions answered. Adjustments to my old frames, superb. At no point did I feel they were trying to upsell me on anything. All the frames I tried on were top-quality, and again there was no upsell during either the frame-picking or the lens-picking phase; just an informative review of the different options and whether they seemed to fit my needs. There was an adjustment that needed to be made to the replacement lenses at first, and they did this for free in a timely way. The store has a special Zeiss machine that measures angles for glasses faster and more accurately than most machines. The store also has, in addition to high-quality traditional frames from brands like Lindberg or Masunaga, AI glasses that support prescription lenses. In each visit, the staff offered me complimentary cleaning supplies. On some visits, they also offered champagne, coffee, and even cake! Phenomenal customer service! I read about this store, and based on its great reviews, I went in to have them fit a new set of polarized lenses on a pair of sunglasses I bought elsewhere. My old frames smashed to smithereens, and I had been delaying updating my glasses prescription. I mostly used my glasses at home because I did not like how I looked in glasses. This was possibly the best experience I have ever had. First, the frames: they have an amazing collection. Plus the person who helped me was very honest with her opinion (per my request), even pointing out fit issues that I did not notice. She did not try to rush me or sell me an expensive frame that did not really work. I ended up with a pair I would not have expected that made me smile just to put them on. It was less expensive than the other one I had been considering, but she pointed out my smile when I put them on (the frames are subtly fun), so I went with that. I am now always wearing my glasses in preference to my contacts! Thank you!!! Second, I needed my eyes tested and they slotted me in with no difficulty to see their optometrist, who was very competent, pleasant and professional, saving me a lot of time. Like in the past, every single person I dealt with this time was friendly, professional, patient and went out of their way to help. Also - re the comment below by the person who wondered if he was dressed too casually: I have a terrible habit of going out to do errands looking like a real mess. The staff might recognize me as a customer by now, but before that every one of them still treated me with respect and attention, including every time I came in to look at a certain brand of frames that I surely looked liked I couldn't afford. Creig at EuroOptica is exceptionally knowledgeable and provided invaluable assistance with my glasses, which I had purchased at a nearby store. After dealing with the other optical store for five months and four different sets of lenses, they were unable to make my glasses correctly and admitted they couldn't identify the issue, advising me to consult another optical technician. He was so helpful and thoughtful in helping to repair a pair of glasses that I bought at Warburg but Warburg declined to help me. I will never go there again. Service matters a lot. Kyle could have sent me away like Warburg did but he graciously spent the time to effect a quick repair of glasses I absolutely needed to have repaired today. If you want to see bad employees go to Warburg where four salespeople standing around refused to help and said they would need to be sent in for repair. I promise to buy my next glasses from this store because there is no reason for a bricks and mortar store if there is no customer service. Kyle was exemplary. If only there were more people like him. I was blown away by EuroOptica's expertise and customer service, and I'm so glad to have found a lab with such attention to detail and professionalism. I wear high-prism progressives for a farsighted prescription, which can cause vision and vestibular problems if not measured and manufactured by eyewear experts with experience in complex prescriptions. I walked into EuroOptica without an appointment, hoping to learn about the types of lenses they made and get a feel for their attention to detail, measuring/fitting process, pricing, and customer service. The last lensmaker I tried made my lenses wrong multiple times, resulting in a four-month delay (and four months of migraines), so I wanted to be sure I was buying from a team up to the task. Ellen and Creig spent the better part of an hour not only answering my questions, but actually taking the time to educate me on the technology used in different brands' lenses and lens types.
