I am by no means a pedicure specialist, but I really like Jasmine Nails. Both times that I have been here, my experience was great. And their prices are lower than the other places that I have been. $25 gets you a basic pedicure, and $45 will get you a spa pedicure with hot stones. I would have liked to have gotten the spa pedicure with aromatherapy; however, the only scent that was available was lavender. Not my fave, hence the 4 stars. I realize I might be an outlier when it comes to rating Jasmine Nails. I bookmarked this place because of the good reviews and these reviews being rather consistent. To start off...the employees are very, very nice. Upon walking in I received the most welcoming greeting I've ever received from a nail salon. And guess what???? - I wasn't *systematically* told to pick out a color!! Thank you!!! I noticed that them being nice was consistent with all customers, which is great. I was seated right away. Yes, the chairs are comfortable, but old. There are seven spa chairs. I didn't scan all chairs, but I noticed one had several rips in the seat. I opted for the $35 spa pedicure - as a treat. I got the lemon scent and I could actually smell the scent, which was great. However, there wasn't much to the exfoliating grains. I thought the pedicure itself was OK. There was a couple of things the technician didn't do that I thought (after all these years) was part of the norm. But not her's. In the end my toe nails were cut and shaped nicely. The manicure was also OK. The cut and shaping was OK. I think more effort could have gone into making sure the length among all nails was equal and that they were well shaped. I opted for no polish and short nails - this is how I roll w/ my fingernails. I did request a buffed shine. And after two attempts to get a descent shine, the technician was finally able to find the proper tool. I appreciated her persistence to deliver. If you're looking for a place to truly relax and enjoy not just the services, but also the environment, I don't think this is it. I've been here several times so far and I really like it. It's cheaper then other places I've been to in the same area, but I've actually gotten better services and attention here then at higher costing nail salon. Not even joking, my first visit I sat in the pedicure bowl soaking while drinking a shot of wine. Most say they get a bottle of water, well I happened to be there at the right time I guess. They don't always give out drinks. Don't expect it every time. They do a really good job. I recommend the SNS dip powder. I get a lot of compliments on my nails. They have lots of colors to choose from. You can get a small container of tools and files that has your name on it and is only used for you! Great idea! read more

This is a very nice nail salon and you really cannot beat their intense wonderful massage chairs while you're getting an outstanding pedicure. The girl that does my nails is top notch and I love how she takes care to make them right! She is very fast! However the guy that did my pedicure did not do a very good job at all and I have given him 2 chances! The older man speaks no English so you can not communicate with him. I went there on Sat morning at 10. It was already busy but I made an appointment a day before so it was no wait. I had mani + pedi for $35.00! People work there are nice and very professional. There were 2 boys with a customer, they gave the boys rubber gloves so that boys can play! You can tell kids friendly places are great places!! I am a dedicated customer of many years and this is still my favorite place to go. The staff is INCREDIBLY friendly and I trust any one of them with my nails! They offer a large selection of colors and nail services. I think their pedicures are spectacular. They start at just $25 where other places start at $40 and only increase with additional services. I went there for a scheduled appointment that I had scheduled for two weeks. When I arrive I was told that I was still going to have to wait until Channa finished a client that she had just started. She said someone called in. This was the second time this happened. Both times I was told it was because someone called in. I was on my lunch break from work and I couldn't wait so I told her that I can't wait. When I called back to reschedule I was told she was on vacation which was a lie. Sooo got my nails done last week, first time at Jasmine nails...acrylic with gel polish. This salon has literally THOUSANDS of colors to choose from!!! Gel, regular polish as well as dip! And their VIP customers have their own little box that keeps their tools in and they aren't used on anyone else. I that! But in just a few days my gel polish started peeling. Within a week 2&1/2 nails were completely bare. I went to get them fixed and the guy was super nice and fixed them NO CHARGE and explained that the polish probably didn't cure enough. 3 stars because of the nails peeling & although they have so many options for colors I just don't wanna look at all of them. It looks busy. And when I get my nails done, I just wanna relax and not have to stare at a wall full of colors. It also makes it hard to choose a color, I mean WOW! This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had for what should be a relaxing escape!! Took my daughter in as a mommy -daughter end of week treat. 2 1/2 hours later, at 9 o clock, I walked out with hammer time nails. They are under staffed and goof offs. If you want ther attention when it's your turn; this isn't the place for you. My nail guy hopped between myself, and 2 other customers so many times he forgot to file one hand, and buff my nails, leaving my French manicure looking spongy!! I came back the next day to have my nails 'finished' and re-polished to wait another 30 minutes before walking out. Women had been waiting for 2 hours when I got there. I would add this place is not suitable for young children, as the men talk about their 'animal trunks' amongst other innaprpropriate conversation. I went to Pro Nails after leaving Jasmine and was in and out in 15 minutes! Do Not get any services that involve heat (paraffin wax/towels/etc.) A few days ago I asked for the deluxe pedicure which includes dipping your feet in wax (I've had it done there and other places several times). When the woman put my right foot in the bag (wax), it instantly burned more than usual. She casually asked me if it was too hot. I told her 3 times it was and tried to pull my foot out. She finally got the hint and took it out. My entire foot was bright red from the scalding hot wax. She kept asking if I was okay and I said "no my foot is burned". I was trying to remain calm but it hurt so badly that i started crying. The woman said "don't cry". The woman stared at my foot and eventually realized she should try to help so she ran cold water in the tub and soaked my foot in it for a while. (As a cerified CPR/First Aid trainer, I know that's not what one is supposed to do for burns but I couldn't stand up let alone walk out).Then they asked to put Neosporin on it. I agreed because it wasn't getting much better. One lady asked me if I wanted hot towels on my legs. While crying I said "I don't want anything else hot". The woman told me the wax was "on low" and said "so its not that hot". I said look at my foot and tell me it wasn't hot. I said I'd like to go home and walked by the counter. The (owner?) Started to charge me $60. I explained that I didn't get any of the 'deluxe services because I got burned before they finished. She brought the price down to $35. I understand that the woman did some work so I paid, but it should've been free because of what I went through. Tried this place out today to get a pedi and SNS nails right before our Disney Vacation and I can honestly say I've never had a better experience getting my nails done!!!!! I like this place... but I definitely do not love it & your experience is FOR SURE centered on WHO is doing your nails/toes. Katharine is my absolute favorite; she did an amazing job on my dip nails. It was the first time I ever got dip, she informed me on them & without rushing. They lasted over a month, not a single chip or crack. This last time I went, I forgot to request Katharine and I paid the price. Channa (I think that is the spelling) rushed and was very cold towards me. She missed a LOT of key points to doing nails (my cuticles were not trimmed & she did not once check to make sure each nail was even with the others, nor was she happy when I had to ask her to fix them twice). One of my nails has a random sparkle in it, another a random black dot. I let it go as I could see she must have had a busy or bad day. One of the men painted my girlfriend's nails and it was AWFUL. The paint was literally on her cuticles and he missed the corners. We walked back in to make them fix her nails immediately as I realized it was totally unacceptable for a nail salon. I Needed a back-up nail salon so the Search begins. This place is close to where we live and I really have to admit the pedicure was wonderful. I normally pay $25 at my regular place BUT To really check out a new place you need to go to the next level which was their $35 pedicure. The pedicure chair was very comfortable. The Pedicure it's self was very complete from the footbath to the massage...I was never rushed and it was a very relaxing pedicure ...My feet have never felt better. This is a great nail salon, for the price. Really nice nail technicians help you with picking out colors, shapes, etc. They really want you to be happy with your nails and the service they provide. I used to go here when I didn't know what quality was. I will never return here, it has been 9 days and I've lost all but my left thumb and I mean all. Call me spoiled but I do a bare minimum of work daily and don't do anything strenuous and yet NINE of my nails fell off. Don't even get me started on the quality of the nails, she never touched my cuticles, never lifted the tips off my nails when applying the glue so there wasn't enough adhesive on them, she cut them too short and didn't even obviously know what stiletto nails were than to top it all off she only put 2 coats of thin neon polish on and and Jesus is it streaky. read more

I really want to love this place because everyone has such good things to say. First of all, my cousin and I went and we had to wait a normal wait time, but we were not offered bottled water like everyone says they were. Secondly, we were not given clean, personal tools. Third, when I asked about SNS nails they told me it was $35 and that they charged $5-$10 for extensions. My cousin has the SNS powder done and they told her that it was the same price as acrylics and only $5 for for extensions. The SNS powder is much prettier than acrylic and much lighter. I would have gotten it done if I wouldn't have thought I was looking at $45 before a tip. Lastly, my nails are like dimpled and uneven. They are not smooth and I had one matte nail that looked no different that the glossy nails. I had to come home and add my own top coat to make the matte and gloss nails stand apart from one another. I will probably try another tech and see if that makes a difference. If not, that will be my last. I was just really ticked about the misinformation surrounding the SNS powder bc it's much nicer than acrylics. I mean yea I was being tight bc it was before Christmas but had I known it was the same price I would have gotten it. Someone just didn't want to put in the extra work. read more

I had been seeing the same lady for nail services for over 5 years when she suddenly quit the business. I was so apprehensive about finding someone new that I waited over 6 months to get a pedicure. I finally took the plunge, got on yelp and started looking for a new place. I saw great reviews for Jasmine Nails and decided to give them a shot. They were amazing. They truly were so incredibly nice to everyone that came through the door. Cameron was so awesome! He made sure I was ok, had nice warm water, and massaged my calves and feet to perfection. I will be a repeat customer and highly recommend this joint! The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I had to wait over a hour but from what I understand that is not normal as they had people on vacation that day. read more
