The best thing is that Dr. Chuang patiently describes the steps before he goes forward. Luckily, my insurance was accepted and I was able to get an appointment same day in the afternoon. Josh is the person who took care of my needs. He was so easy to talk to, personable, & informative. He had a good vibe & made my experience absolutely seamless. Even went over my insurance policy in detail. He prepped me for Dr. Kaur who was not only adorable, but also very kind. I felt at ease immediately, she has a very gentle touch. He was the first Optometrist I've seen that listened to my issues with my high astigmatism and how prior docs just tried to force me into over-correcting my eyes and refusing to adjust my lenses despite my getting headaches! He took great care to make sure this didn't happen for me. In fact he said that my vision was pretty stable so no need to change too much. I was absolutely blown away when Dr. Shetty stayed after hours over 15 minutes - sitting by himself in the office to wait for me to pick up my glasses! I did everything in my power to get out of work as early as possible to pick them up before the 6pm closing time, but I work in a clinic and many times this isn't possible, especially coming from The Bronx. Knowing my crazy work hours and travel, he understood this and went above and beyond in accommodating to make sure I get my lenses, without any attitude or condescending remarks!
