Not happy with the service here. Do not get your glasses here! When I purchased the glassed they did not tell me any information nor asked me choices on what i would like done to my lenses. I wanted it pressed couple of times. They said two times was on the house and third time i would need to pay $40 which is no problem. I picked up my lenses a week later they do not look like it was pressed three times. I asked if she can press the lenses again. Her response was just wear it. If you press it again it cost $180. Didnt make sense so i confirmed but yep $180 just to press it one more time. I asked if they added the anti fogness. She laughed and said should be but if not no glasses are really like dat. Um yea okay . Not really professional. Never coming here again. Really not happy with the service! read more

I just walked in to look at frames at 5pm on 11/19 Tuesday... I smiled and said hello, and a very rude older Asian woman sitting at a desk just stared at me expressionless. No acknowledgement whatsoever and did not ask if I needed help. I don't know if it's because I'm a different race from her, but I was very offended and very quickly walked out. I walked in for the first time to shop for frames I was pretty excited to finally check this place out it looked cool and trendy but I was quickly disappointed after, not one person said hello or acknowledged that I was there ... no one offered help or even looked in my direction ... maybe they were having a bad day but I don't think I would go back to look for frames again since the customer service was now very friendly It is very possible after reading the reviews that maybe I happened to walk in while the unfriendly person was working but who knows it's very possible they do an amazing job and I just did not have that experience some of them giving them two stars I would say if you're interested go check it out read more

I've been going here a few years now. My entire family goes here including myself. I've never had an issue until today. As a fellow healthcare professional, the female optometrist's actions were highly disappointing and unusually judgemental. I recommend you take a CE on patient provider communication. Don't tell people "you're not a doctor," overall the lack of professionalism is shocking. After giving us eyewear that had an outdated prescription, which they confirmed to be an error on their part, they continued to tell us that the prescription was correct. Berating a minor and trying to convince them that they can see when the patient clearly states that the prescription is blurry is sadly all too common. Instead of giving us solutions they continued to make hypocritical statements stating we were in the wrong. I've requested a new appointment with a different optometrist. I will be taking my business elsewhere pending my next appointment. read more

I went here for a contact lens exam and it was very quick and convenient. Although it was $80, that was around the cheapest I could find in the area. I wanted to order contact lenses from a different site and they didn't really push me to get it from them which I appreciated. I was afraid the lens prescription would be off (they said since I'm getting my lenses from somewhere else, they weren't sure how well I would be able to see) however, the prescription was very accurate and I can see crystal clear. Nice place to get a new glasses. Recently I took the eye-exam here and I got my new prescription. I liked doctor and sales staff, they are professional and kind at the same time. There are many options, different kind of well-designed frames and designer's brand frames. I found the exact frame that i was looking for. It was affordable price. Also the building has free parking lot at the back side so I was able to take my time to stay until work done. I will definitely return to this place when I need a new glasses. read more

I noticed the scratches all over the lenses in the direct sunlight at a certain angle when I was in my car. Something kept bothering my eyes as I was driving and so I took a careful look and in the bright sunlight I saw scratches everywhere. I reached out to them and they told me to bring it back for a replacement. Then I picked up my replacement after a week and the same thing happened- there is a cluster of internal scratches. How can you send out and sell lenses from your "lab" this way AGAIN? Horrible service and low quality care. Go to a professional eye doctor and a professional eye wear store if you want to protect your eyes. If you bought glasses from here take a careful look at your lenses in the bright light outside if you care about your eyes.They blame it on the temperature of the car and the sudden climate change - let me tell you, this has never happened to my previous glasses that I owned for many many years purchased from professional places. The replacements I picked up had scratches immediately, but I didn't want to waste my time further with them. Really great selection for really low fair prices. I don't know why I used to pay 4-5 hundred $ for glasses. Its just amazing how affordable they are. I also had a great cheap eye exam to update my prescription when I purchased my glasses. It is kinda typical korean (ie aloof service and staff). I needed to get a pair of glasses and contact lenses after getting eye examination. I've looked around several places in queens and so glad I decided to get these done at Cooper Crwn. 1. Service was great, they took my insurance for examination and eye doctor was great. He carefully looked at my old glasses and contact lenses to examine my current status and explained everything thoroughly. I had a minor pain, may had a scratch on my right eye, at that time and he provided some tips to take care of it and it worked. If I remember Doc's name correctly, his name is Dr. Moon. Great guy! 2. Look for Mr. Han and go there only when he is there! I think he is a manager or the owner, he helped me with selecting frames for optical glasses within my budget. I like it very much and it's light and comfortable. He is very kind and provide great service and help in selecting what you want and very knowledgeable. 3. They text you when your contact lenses and glasses are ready. It's pretty fast service. It's just that one of the staffs, a lady, who works there during the weekday is not so friendly. She doesn't really care/help much with what you need. When I purchased my contact lenses with Mr. Han, they said the contact lenses I'm purchasing have the rebate deal and I will be able to enroll. However, when I went to pick lenses up, she was the only one who worked there and just threw me a piece of rebate paper telling me to go on line and do it. I asked if I needed any information doing that, she said just enter NJ zipcode which sounded odd to me. I tried to do it myself at home and realized I needed a lot of information on doctor, business information many more. So I called them up and she picked up giving me full name of eye doctor then told me to just come in when Mr. Han is here. He will help me. (Why didn't she ask me to just come in from the first place when I don't have complete information to do this myself!) Oh, and I did not get any single solution with the contact lenses because she said she has nothing left. I bought about $220 contact lenses so it was a little bummer when they offered nothing and the way she talked was little with the attitude, it made me feel if I was asking for too much. Anyhow, I did end up going back to the place, two month after purchase, when Mr Han was there. He said they were supposed to help customers with the whole process and apologized. He helped me getting this through within a minute and gave me solution for contact lenses!! :) I carried this rebate piece of paper in my bag over a month because I had to make an account, try to get missing information then I got busy, was out of town for a while. It was a bit of stress not getting this done right away and worried a little bit because it's been a while after I purchased. However, Mr. Han made it all work!
