At the time of purchase, I was told that it would take two weeks to receive my glasses, and they would be sent directly to my home. Unfortunately Two weeks to the day I received a notification that my glasses had arrived, at which point I confirmed that they were to be sent to me by mail since I live three hours away from the location. However, after not having received my glasses I contacted the location at which point they told me they still had my glasses and they had not been mailed. And then question whether or not I had paid the shipping fee which was insulting considering I had given them $600 for the purchase which included the fee. So now I continue to wait, which is not the end of the world I just had always assumed anything that required medical insurance to purchase should be hot held to a higher standard of service. Due to the fact of falls under medical jurisdiction Update: They had someone look into my situation, they get my business back.

They gave me no option for them to make it right, other than charge me more $ just to even LOOK at the glasses with THEIR faulty prescription. ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. I live in Mammoth, so not only did I already have to drive 3 hours, pay a lot of $ for gas, & the prescription itself. BUT now that my insurance was already used up for the next year, I have to go elsewhere & pay more $ out of pocket for another ophthalmologist to make Eagle Vision's screw up right. 100% do NOT recommend. I was greeted by Tatiana at the reception desk with forms I needed to fill out. I was promptly taken to the exam room where a few preliminary exams were executed very professionally and with care for sanitation. I was then guided to another exam room where Dr. Lori Steyn conducted my eye exam. She and her assistant took such good care of me. Everything was thoroughly explained, and re-explained when I didn't understand what was being discussed. It is also right next to Carson Valley Plaza to the south, on Topsy Lane. I love this plaza, as it has many useful stores and not filled with "riffraff' like the other Walmart plaza is in north Carson City on Retail Drive. The Walmart is open 24/7 and is a Supercenter with a Tire & Lube Express and Garden Center. There is also a Trader Joe's, which I frequent often. I used to go to King Buffet there (a Chinese restaurant), but now not really. You can get around any traffic by using the back entrance and taking Vista Grande Boulevard. I use this way a lot, especially since I go to the Costco near there a lot. But, as this is Carson City, there is not too much traffic. My only complaint is, if you use the back entrance of Vista Grande Boulevard, behind Walmart, and go north around Walmart past the loading dock, the lane is really narrow and you cannot see cars coming the other way, especially since there are cardboard recycling loads and a building pole there. So you have to be very careful. It is also not well lit there.

My wife bought new boots, not at this store, and had problems with the fit. Brent bent over backwards to help her out and after several adjustments over multiple visits they now fit her perfectly. He is one of those boot fitting geniuses, that the Tahoe area needs. I have talked to him multiple times about skis and bindings and he really knows his stuff. If you need any help with ski equipment, or skiing, he is also a youth team coach, Brent is your man. Blue zone is lucky to have him.
