That felt extremely shady and unprofessional. I was surprised that an employee would encourage a customer to provide false information on a financing application. On top of that, the finance manager had a payoff amount for my vehicle that was completely different from the payoff amount shown on my bank statement. When I pointed out the discrepancy and asked about it, he refused to look into it and simply said, "That's what the numbers say." There was no effort to verify the information or explain why the amounts were different. I also asked for my keys to my car multiple times and she would not hand them over until I had to snatch them off of the table and then she acted as if we were out of control and became very rude very fast. Overall, the experience left me with serious concerns about the professionalism and integrity of this dealership (that have now been reported), and I would not feel comfortable doing business here.
