I came into this shop hoping to have a vintage hat restored. I was very clear that money was not an object--I just wanted the hat stripped down, cleaned, and made to look "sweet" again. Unfortunately, I was met with an incredible level of arrogance and a total lack of customer service from the individual who claimed to be the manager/owner. Instead of offering solutions, he spent the entire time arguing with me about the material. He insisted the elastic was stretched out because it had gotten wet, and essentially told me there was nothing that could be done. Even though I tried to communicate that I wanted a full restoration/redo, he was dismissive and disrespectful. To top it off, he made a comment about needing to "clean" it before even letting a seamstress look at it, as if my business wasn't worth his time. I was ready to drop $50+ to get this hat done right, but he seemed more interested in being "right" than in helping a customer. It's a shame because the material isn't even stretched out as he claimed. I honestly felt that if I had pulled up in a Mercedes, I would have been treated with the respect and professional service I expected. How often do you clean your bed comforter? Truly pause for a moment and think about that. Most of us may change our bed sheets regularly but what about the comforter? If you are like me and live in an apartment building with a small (not economy-sized) coin washer/dryer; the comforter doesn't even fit in the machine. Besides, it is best to get these fluffy sleep assistants dry-cleaned. I have a feeling your answer is, "Not as often as I should". My bed comforter is the home to food stains, cat fur and other things that I'm too classy to mention on here and it was certainly time for a proper dry clean. That's how EZ Cleaners entered my life. I regularly patron an excellent dry cleaners but I've noticed that they charge a heftier chunk of change and was curious to find something more affordable. This is how I discovered EZ Cleaners. EZ Cleaners is located in Studio City on Moorpark/Tujunga in a small strip plaza next to Subway and a 7/11 (not to be confused with Hilltop Cleaners across the street). Initially, I called EZ Cleaners for a price check and spoke to Latina woman who was informative and patient assuring me that the price for a full-size comforter was $25 which is cheaper than any of the dry cleaners in the area. I also confirmed that she will validate the 15% Yelp Check-in offer and at first she seemed hesitant but I wasn't letting her get away with that so she assured me EZ Cleaners will indeed meet their offer. All good so far. I arrived to EZ Cleaners to find a 'typical' dry cleaners store front - spacious and airy lobby, a business counter space and due to covid-19: multiple signs about wearing masks and standing 6 feet apart plus the boasting of dry cleaning killing more virus germs than any household cleaner. The woman behind the counter was the one I spoke with on the phone and efficiently entered me into the system as a new customer, accepted the Yelp check-in offer and gave me my ticket for the comforter that was due to be cleaned by Friday at 5pm (I turned it in on a Tuesday near closing time). Easy-peasy in minutes. When Friday rolled around, I received an automated text that my order was completed. I did not expect this text and was pleasantly surprised that EZ Cleaners is so communicative. The pickup process was equally simple and EZ Cleaners had my comforter ready to go in the standard dry cleaners bed spread bags. Now, at the time of this review, we are not only living through a pandemic but also the Coin Shortage of 2020. I have access to hundreds of dollars in quarters and have been doing my part to pay everything with quarters to get the coins back into the system. My total with the Yelp discount and taxes came to $24.54 and I paid it all in quarters. EZ Cleaners never complained and the gentleman working in the back (who seemed to be the boss) was actually happy and conversing with me about it. He said the only annoyance would be all pennies but quarters are fine. Basically EZ Cleaners has great customer service and low prices (other reviews say they are pricey - I have to disagree based on the prices in the area). My complaint? My comforter was indeed cleaned: all the stains were gone. However, it has more wrinkles than other dry cleaners have presented me, it didn't have the fresh perfume-y additive other spots add (I get a fresher scent from a fabric softener sheet! It literally has no scent) and there is a portion where the filling is balled up. None of these have happened with my comforter at other dry cleaners. Nothing too awful but still slightly disappointing. EZ Cleaners has multiple positives: low prices in comparison to neighboring dry cleaners, kind customer service, redeemed the Yelp check in offer and wasn't bitchy about $25 in quarters. The actual dry cleaning though was just middle of the road and average - nothing special here. Seriously none of the fresh scent stuff?! Sad. EZ Cleaners is definitely recommended for those trying to save some cash and have friendly customer service interactions. EZ Cleaners is a solid 3-star average spot but the customer service on the phone and in person gave it the extra star. So, go ahead. Wash that comforter, you filthy animal! read more

I just telephoned this business to ask where they were located, I could hear the woman perfectly- she slammed the phone down I called again, this time the answering machine answered, I left a message that I was referred to them by yelp and I wasn't sure if I have the correct number for EZ Cleaners (but when the lady answered she did say, "EZ Cleaners)! I hung up and called back as I need two suits tailored- the same lady answered and I said, "I was hung up on and I would like to know your location, if you're the cleaners next door to Pagliachhis restaurant? She said she hung up Bc she couldn't hear me," my question then why hang up, just say, "I'm having a difficult time hearing you, please call back l." I've been going to EZ Cleaners for awhile, especially for the alterations. I got a few items altered and when I went to pick up and used their coupon they said I couldn't use it. The coupon hadn't even expired! The lady who rang me up said the coupon needed to be presented when I was given the slip. I find that so dishonest and rude of this business. Coupons are presented the day the transaction is placed and paid and I hadn't even paid for the item yet. And it confuses me that she still couldn't honor the coupon even if it hadn't expired!!! Honestly there are way better cleaners around this area. Don't waste your time with their BS coupons and deals that they don't even honor. With honor comes honesty which they don't have either due to the fact I left a key and extra cash in my workout jacket in a hidden not obvious pocket that was taken out.
