This is an unreliable laundry service. You cannot rely on them to pickup your laundry. Beware! This company is not to be trusted to handle any clothing you value. Smoke remediation required to have all clothing cleaned after being displaced by the Palisades fire. This company returned thousands of dollars' worth of clothing damaged to the point where dozens of pieces are unwearable, can't be repaired or donated. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When brought to their attention they refused to take responsibility either as a company nor for their unqualified employees, or worse, employees with complete disregard for your property.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] One would expect a "professional" service would have knowledge of basic principles and expertise and to have in their employ, employees who are aware of the care instructions for various fabrics and how to handle them properly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Instead, they blame the customer, for not giving specific care instructions as required for each item.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is absurd. A professional service should have the knowledge and experience to properly handle garments, even without explicit instructions. For example, several items were returned shrunken to toddler sizing and ALL of the light-colored garments were stained with various colors. Who on earth, especially a business that specializes in laundry, doesn't know how to sort clothing items? It is evident all clothing was washed together in hot water. I sent my laundry to fresh fold while rain storm was unfolding. Messaged them about a pick up with the understanding it would be looked over and given an estimate I had to approve and pay for before the work was started. They responded quickly and were already going to be in my neighborhood so we're able to fit me into there schedule. I sent a blanket band 2 loads of laundry. My two loads of laundry were quoted at $135 and my comforter $39.99 plus the service fees. I only approved the cost of the comforter and asked that laundry be returned as is when the comforter was completed. Apparently the company had already washed the laundry so I was essentially forced to pay the bill. They were kind of enough to remove the service fees and offer a first time discounts however I still paid entirely too much money for this service and overall was not happy. Some of my laundry came back still wet and they used scented detergent. It says they are supposed to ask your preference of scented or non scented which they would have known had I given actual approval. Again, super appreciate them making this happen during the rain storm but I should not have been strong arm into paying such an exuberant cost for a cost I didn't approve. read more

I was very excited to have seemingly discovered a laundry valet service with excellent reviews, great communication, and nice people. However, when I got my laundry back, I immediately regretted using this service. First off, the detergent they use is very cheap. If you elect to use this service and you don't want to smell cheap, definitely select unscented. It was also harsher than the detergent I usually use. I also asked them to wash my clothes on cold and air dry them, but I just put some on to discover that they have shrunk, so already they did not follow one or both of those instructions. I do know they air dried some of my clothes, because they came back all wrinkly, another thing I was not expecting--when I air dry my clothes, I get the wrinkles out. And these were not even the most disappointing items. My favorite blue sweatshirt--why did I send it out to be laundered? Why??--was absolutely mauled by their harsh detergent and hot water, coming back to me with piling all over it, no longer the really nice smooth hydrophobic surface it once had. And to top it off, the dirt stains on the sweatshirt didn't even come out. I keep having to learn this lesson over and over again--if you want something done right, do it yourself. read more
