It looks like they took over Weinersnitchel and turned it into an outdoor patio restaurant. First time I've seen this. There's parking in the back and street parking. We came on a not so busy day. Got seated right away. The inside is cute and modern! We got to ordering right away because we were starving. We ordered the Chicken Shawarma and Steak Shawarma Wrap with Fries and Maanek. Both wraps were okay. I feel it was lacking some flavor but everything came out hot and fresh. As for the Maanek beef sausages. It's an interesting flavor IMO. Def has a sweet, savory, lemony taste to it. I think the lemon was a little overpowering for me. But overall, it's an acquiring taste and I would def order it again. Service was nice and attentive. I would def come back and give it a try again!

I always drive by this place and decided to try it for dinner tonight! I was so excited to try it! The prices are a little expensive especially for what I ordered a chicken plate. I picked up my order and the service was fast and friendly! The food on the other hand was just okay. The chicken was very delicious but my pita tasted old and my hummus had an extremely sour taste. The rice and salad were just okay. Decent place but the price doesn't match the food.

I was excited to go here for months. Finally made time to visit and it was a disappointment. The food was good, no complaints on the quality but the portions were very small for 2 plates that cost about $70 total. Halfway through the 20 minute wait I asked if we can sit inside to eat instead and the guy at the takeout window said it was too late and we wouldn't be able to eat inside with our takeout bag. Ok? Our plates aren't even made yet so you can put them on plates for us to eat inside right? No, the orders already takeout. Shouldn't be that hard to change considering we still waited 10 more minutes after we asked to eat inside. We also weren't given our 2 fountain drinks. But I wasn't going to drive across 2 cities to come back for drinks we never got. Granted we were hungry and ready to find somewhere else to eat since you can't bring a takeout bag to eat inside.

The food was amazing here at EZ Kebab. I love the juicy kebab trio plate plus the hummus and garlic sauce were also incredible. Staff were very nice and the food came out in 15 minutes. Ambiance is outdoor, street side area with wind protection. I love the high quality of their food and look forward to coming back again to try other dishes I. The future. Highly recommended!

I never rate a place but EZ Kabab made me to do it...We ordered Steak Shawarma and Ribeye pita wrap. First thing, when we arrived they didn't acknowledge us. They werent busy and they were making a burnt chicken for a customer so we waited till they said hi. Inside was like bit messy, half of the meat inside was falling when they were making wrap. I made video and also took pictures. My wrap had barely meat in it. They filled the wrap with fries which it wasn't fully cooked! Overall, we didnt like it! Also they only have to go and we ended up to eat inside our car. Their even didnt put napkins inside! On the menu, we had options to choose which type of bread we want and no one asked us. The worst customer service and the worst wraps that we've ever got. The meat also had too much fat and it was hard to chew...we paid $41 for a bread amd fries.

Did a DoorDash order to hoag and I was very unimpressed. Was not expecting such over cooked food from a place with 4.5 stars. Maybe an off day, maybe because it was a DoorDash order. I don't know. The rice was kind of dry as well, and the hummus lacked flavor. I'll give this place another chance later on down the road, but not any time soon.

Does the hummus contain zero garlic? I'm allergic to raw garlic. Most store-bought hummus contains garlic but some restaurants such as Al Tannour make it without any garlic at all.

Having…read moreeaten at hundreds of Lebanese restaurants across multiple states--and traveling back to Beirut once a year--I have a very high bar for authenticity. My wife is also very familiar with the cuisine and cooks many of these traditional dishes herself. Last night, we tried BEI in Costa Mesa, and we are both absolutely thrilled to have found it. The hospitality here is amazing. Tommy gave us a warm greeting right as we walked in, and it was a pleasure chatting with him all evening. Our waiter, George, was equally amazing. He isn't Lebanese himself, but he jokingly told us that he is becoming Lebanese more and more every day just from eating the food here! He knew the menu inside and out, guiding us through the options and sharing his personal favorite plates with real passion. As for the food, my wife and I completely agreed that the chicken shawarma was easily the best I have ever had anywhere in the United States. It fully equals what you would eat at a high-quality restaurant in Lebanon. The toum (garlic spread), which is an absolute must for the chicken, was unbelievable. The hummus, baba ganoush, batata harra (spicy potatoes), and the fattoush salad were all absolutely amazing and perfectly seasoned. We finished the evening with an incredible knefeh for dessert. Even the hookah was great--smooth, well-prepared, and the perfect addition to the evening. They have a DJ on Fridays and a belly dancer on Saturdays, giving the space an awesome weekend energy. If you want genuine Lebanese cuisine paired with true Middle Eastern hospitality, BEI is a must-visit. We will certainly be back every time I am in town!

Before you visit, keep these things in mind: 1. This is a ghost kitchen, not a full-service restaurant. It's best for takeout and delivery. There are only a few chairs outside--just four in total. 2. Ordering is entirely self-service via a digital kiosk, with no staff on hand to assist you. 3. There are no bathrooms available anywhere on-site. Regarding the food, it was just okay-- a bit underwhelming, especially given that Lebanese cuisine is typically so flavorful. The chicken was dry, the hummus lacked depth, and the rice was bland. That said, the fattoush salad, one of my favorites, was very good, with a delicious dressing. Overall, I can't say I'd return. The prices were quite high for the portions, and the quality didn't meet my expectations. If you're looking for a quick Lebanese meal, this place is a decent option, but don't expect much more than that.
