Tried all of the unlocking door tricks on YouTube but failed miserably. So I went to Yelp and requested a quote in my area and Bader of Major Locksmith was the very first person to reach me. Gave me a fair price and had offered to come right now (at 9:30pm, mind you) since he probably noticed the desperation in my voice. He was here in 7 minutes and unlocked our door in 5 minutes. It took only 30 MINUTES from the moment he reached out to me to the moment he left my home after unlocking our door. WOW. Now that's service right there! Now I'm at peace knowing I have Bader I can rely on if and when my space cadet brain accidentally locks our doors again! I wholeheartedly recommend Major Locksmith!!!

On 9/28/25, she called at 8am, hours later a guy came, tried to program the ignition, and then said because the engine model number was different from the VIN, it would take more time. He then unplugged the battery and left. Hours later, another guy came and tried to do the same but couldn't, saying he would come back later. Then, at 4pm, a guy named Badr arrived and attempted the same. He couldn't do it and asked if we were in a hurry. HELLO!!! My daughter had been waiting for you guys since 8 in the morning! So Badr canceled their initial reset and still charged my daughter $390. I told him, "You didn't do anything!" He made up all these excuses, saying every time he used a tablet it charges?? Like, come on--karma will come back to bite you, just watch. Anyway, it was a good thing the Uber driver found my daughter's keys and returned them to her. First of all, they shouldn't have taken that long and made us wait for hours in the middle of nowhere. Secondly, if they didn't know how to do it, they should have been honest from the start so we could call another locksmith who can. Third, they shouldn't have charged us when they did absolutely nothing! So, people, stay far away from this place. They clearly don't know what they're doing and will still charge you for their "attempts."

Even for programmed on my Lexus I got the keys cut on eBay with photos and programmed them myself using YouTube video. Really funny method that seemed more like voodoo than anything and didn't really think it would work. Imagine my surprise when the fob worked correctly in all its functions! He asked me the basic questions, type of vehicle, location, and if I needed mobile service. I said yes because the only car key I have left has broken. He quoted $195 for the key with remote. I agree. He says to text him the address and he would return an ETA. Five mins later he texts back and says he would be there in 20 mins. He arrived as promised and went to work on my keys. I had a blank key that I bought online years ago but never got around to doing and showed it to him. Come to find out it is also empty with no chip inside so I dismissed it and told him to carry on. I could hear him testing the key on the doors, trunk, and ignition. I then asked if could cut a basic key to from my blank just to be able to open the doors as a spare? He looks at my broken parts and figured out that my old chip was still working and the blank housing I had would work after all. Ten minutes later I could hear him testing that too. I was able to pay by credit card and he says, "$180." I asked was there anything extra for the second key. He nodded no. Score! I got TWO working keys for less than quoted and much less than a competitor. I tipped him a little extra for this. This really made my day. From time of initial call and finished product was an hour and 15 min. I was worried about not being able to drive to work the next day. Thank You!

I was not calling this man to flirt, hit on him, or do anything inappropriate--I was calling because I needed a locksmith. Apparently, his girlfriend/wife/whatever relationship they have decided to call me back and tell me to "find a new locksmith." Let me be very clear: if your personal relationship is so insecure that a woman calling your partner for a professional service becomes a problem, that is something you need to handle privately--not with customers. I have never experienced something so bizarre and unprofessional. Instead of simply providing a service, I somehow ended up being dragged into someone else's relationship drama. If you're running a business, act like a professional. Customers should not be made to feel uncomfortable or accused simply because they contacted you for a service. I honestly feel bad for the guy because imagine losing legitimate business because someone in your household is answering customers' calls and policing who is allowed to contact you. Needless to say, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. There are plenty of professional locksmiths who know how to separate business from personal drama. Absolutely ridiculous experience.
